Did the author of Hentai Creatures just disappear or did he explicitly say "Don't upload my mod"? Because I still have it and can upload it here if people are interested.

Thanks for this great work. But I have to say, compare with LE version, too much dogs and horses, No biological diversity. Like elements in College of Winterhold, trolls/chaurus near wild houses, Riekling/Lurker in Raven Rock, Spriggan in Arch Mage's Quarters. Those are all very appropriate decorations, hope these can serve as references.

I agree. As mentioned previously in this thread, the aim was to avoid lore-breaking stuff like house trolls and pet bears and other creatures that just should not be tame and free-roaming in any reasonable setting. There was also a reluctance to put too much work into city and town cells that were very likely to get edited out for compatibility.

 

If there was to be a do-over, then there would be an attempt to provide more race diversity while keeping with the lore-friendly scope, such as groups of approachable wild animals away from civilisation.

 

Alas, the task is daunting and time limited.

So I got a bug with one dog, and it's the stray dog by the 3 standing stones at the start of the game. other dogs show up, but it. idk if Stup is gone.

Check that More Nasty Critters is installed correctly, in case this is a missing or corrupt aroused mesh for that race.

 

Otherwise:

  1. Uninstall the SLMC completely.
  2. Load in and make a new save.
  3. Install the "No GSD" version and see if that fixes it.

Check the highlighted note in the SLMC mod description for an explanation.

Im not too sure but I was wondering what happened to this mod cause I wanted to install it lol.

Are you sure that patch is compatible with the latest MNC? I don't see it in the compatibility kits.

hiya sorry if this is kind of necroposting here. I've been having an issue where the erect mesh disappears when swapping scenes then crashes after triggering an update (in CF) and advancing a scene. I ran crash logs through skyrim decoder (I am not savvy at reading crash logs at all) and they all seem to point me to this mod. This is what the report says, but I am running MNC/ABC/creature summoner and have tried both regular and no gsd version of this mod with the same results. Load order is fine and when i disable the esp for this mod disappearing mesh and crashes stop. Any advice on what i can do?

Aroused mesh management is handled by Creature Framework, downloaded from the More Nasty Critters mod page. Problems with disappearing meshes are common. Check the mod description and the support thread for guidance on dealing with issues.

 

The most likely cause for a creature-related crash is a corrupt or incompatible aroused mesh being applied. Since SLMC just adds lots of creatures, it means you'll encounter a problematic aroused mesh sooner and more often.

 

Make sure that all installed mods are for Special Edition. Try re-downloading the mods adding these meshes and testing the archives (7-zip > Test Archive) before reinstalling. Check the support thread to see if others are seeing similar results. When asking for help in those support threads, be sure to state clearly which mod versions you are using, as they are regularly updated and there are some alternate available such as the experimental version of CF.

 

Most of the creatures added by SLMC are horses and canines. You could try summoning these one at a time in a test cell to see which one is causing problems. That should narrow down which meshes are involved.

Is there a version of this mod with about half as many added creatures? There's really just a few too many horses and dogs hanging around inhabited places and it'd be nice if it could be dialed down just a smidge without having to manually disable individual entities for every new save.
