You lack RaceMenu? Hard to guess... many possibilities. Maybe hunt through this thread, and the one for the original mod.

FrontlineChief Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Hi! Ive been using this mod a lot in my playthrough, but had to do a full reinstall. When I reinstalled Manipulator (with all required mods) it initialized fine and was usable. As I added more of my mod pack and god everything working, I realized that my Manipulator hotkeys weren't working, and processed to find out that while it initializes each new game and I can play with the MCM, the actually mechanics don't work. So far I have uninstalled and reinstalled freshly from LL (I'm using vortex). I have no idea what mod/mods are doing this so let me know what information I can give to help anyone out on finding out why this isn't working. Edit: Turns out a lot functions work from the Manipulator. I can use the hacks perfect, I can make people my lover, but I can't strip or use racemenu. Very confusing.

It doesn't matter if I do it via hotkeys or via the "people" menu. The mod definitely still works, because I can access the inventory menu via the "people" tab, and the cheat functions work fine, but it's these two functions that simply don't work. I haven't used the harem feature whatsoever, so I cannot speak to whether or not that is impacted. What's weird is that it was working fine in earlier builds of mine, but not this one. I ensured that the plugin is at the very bottom of the load order (right above the batch patch), and I even rebuilt the batch patch a few times (not due directly to this though). Guest ffabris Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 I don't know what most of those mods are even, however it does seem odd to have SOSRaceMenu.esp loaded before RaceMenu itself - but I may be misremembering. In general, the load order looks odd to me, but that would be because I always did that manually. Anyway, nothing else stands out, sorry.

I also think that there is a console command to make them visible, should you want to.
nyanbono Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 I'm trying to make this work with SkyrimVR (which is mostly ok) I just can't get the Racemenu Cosmetic to work. Racemenu is working fine for myself but I get a bugged out version when using it for an npc. Any ideas for a potential fix ?

The problem is that there is no UIExtension specifically for VR. Although you can use it for the most part with things like the VR version of RaceMenu, there is an issue with mapping the keyboard input to VR. I can't remember the exact issue, and there may be some work-arounds.

Isn't it better to only do sections at a time? You can easily filter it using SSEdit to find out what is conflicting/overwriting the mod.

Basically, I want to give my player character's EXACT RaceMenu body to Serana. I spent a lot of time in RaceMenu tweaking my character's 3BBB body. I would love to know if I can clone my character's body to apply it to Serana. My character looks nothing like the BodySlide body I originally made. I adjusted many things in RaceMenu and was very happy with the final result. Will Manipulator do that for me? Don't really care about the other stuff that is listed. Just want to give Serana (or any NPC) my PC's body shape. If this mod won't accomplish that, is there anything else I can do? It's really too bad there isn't a stand-alone RaceMenu mod for NPCs. UPDATE: Mod MCM tells me that RaceMenu is not installed. It is. I use it a lot. Is there a reason why this mod wouldn't detect it? Edited September 22, 2021 by Sandatharius

And I don't think RaceMenu allows face or body data to be transferred. But I might be wrong there. However, going from distant memory, I believe that there are mods available that will clone an NPC to the player. Maybe also the other way round. There are several reason, you may better to check before. 1 To use some Cosmetic menu for NPC, you may need to check SKEE.ini (Race menu offer plug in) and set option for NPC active. 2. After Manipulator released, there have been many up-date about Race menu and SKEE for SE version. so some mods which made for old SKEE did not work. 3. I made my customize version (actually I just check EFF (whidh worked correctly) script source code and merge it to Manupulator script only about cosmetic) , then for me is still wrok with recent recemenu and SKEE. https://www.loverslab.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=880240 I do not think others believe my custoimize, or may think if it break something, but I did same edit for another nexus mod which only open cosmetic menu. then I offered the script for the mod author. after all it is used for the mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19353?tab=description There is no user who reply the customized (then up-dated as official) version not work, so maybe the attached customize version for manipulator should work. (If You are MO2 user, just install it then overwrite original Manipulator as different mod, so you can anytime remove, hide it without break original) , or It should be easy check souce by anyone who know more about script. actually I still use manipulator. (though about cosmetic, I usually start from EFF dialogue,) , then today ttest it for cosmetic body paint over-lay. it work as same as before. At same time in the mod description, you may get some useful infomation about SKEE.ini setting. check it too. And most of user may use Engine fix for SE I suppose. then I clear remember, for some PC, Engine fix memory manager cause issue to change NPC body morph. from cosmetic menus. (I see same problem for all mod which open Racemenu cosmetic ) if your game still work without Engine Fix memory manager (set it as false only about memory manager, in the mod setting file),then try if it work. though engine fix up-dated often, and with recent version I seldom see the issue. but without memory manage, it usually more stable to change NPC morph. greenmango12 Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Then only one thing, (but it is same even though I use EFF), which I hope to solve personally, about cosmetic menu, After I set body paint for body, then save. nextime I load the save game , I can not see the Texture (tatoo etc) to return the saved overlay for body, I usually need to change NPC cloth. there seems up-date issue. but do not know if it caused my SKEE.ini setting or there is another setting. relate with other mod. and do not confirm if I change cell, it will be up-loaded etc. Usually The saved over-lay texture suddenly appear, when I change NPC cloth. But It happen from EFF cosmetic menu too >> add over-lay >> save . then load later. I can not see the texture untill I swap NPC clothing. so I do not think it is caused my customized script. (or someone check please. I perfectly forgot what I change etc,, because I stop to play skyrim SE long time.. then do not remember many things about script)

Check load order, perhaps.
