LinksSword Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 So i'm trying to figure out what could of caused them? was it a fluke? will it get worst over time? I don't even have that many mods installed. I have crashfixes safetyload skse memory you name it. I always use loot for my loadorder but perhaps loot is not sorting them properly? Save cleaner doesn't say anything about any orphan scripts and my save file size is staying at a consistent 7 mb size, even going down slightly, Perhaps a mod conflict? i can never get past 20 hours in skyrim because of ctd's and i want to find out if its a mod that is causing this or something else my temps are not even high, My PC specs: GTX 950, FX6300, 16gb ram, 3tb hardrive, windows 10 os. Script heavy mods can cause CTD's high graphic texture packs can also cause it ENB's can cause them and sometimes just looking at a beth game wrong can cause it to crash.

But i feel like just saying because its beth is an excuse because i seen people with 200+ mods with no problems (i want to know their secret), But maybe i'm just unlucky. closest hours i've gotten in a modded skyrim before it starts to die was 30 hours.
myuhinny Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 That all depends on what mods they have installed my skyrim game folder was created on 1/8/2015 and it's still up and running but still gets a CTD here and there but the majority of my mods are clothing mods. A persons system can also be accounted for some CTD problems. People that have 200+ mods probably have mostly armors installed and many also do a lot of tweaking to ini files and stuff like that to make their game mroe stable.
Uncle64 Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 I currently have 420+ mods installed and 254 active plugins, most of the mods are heavy mods, not any armor mod at all, but as you say Myuhinny, yea my ini files are trimmed. Only 2 ctd in 10 hours is not that bad at all. But he needs to clean up his load from mods that he dont use. Assume that he uses NMM since he only have disabled them, always better to tell NMM or Wrye Bash to remove the mod instead of disable it. Many mods share files. OP have some of issues in his load. Some mods have LOOT sorted wrong for you, but that is common, you need to fine tune them by hand. Even if he have disabled the mod the lose files from the mods are still in his data folder. If one mod need same file but one other version he will run in to issues fast. He says that he CTD when saving and after sleap, If he have autosaves on Skyrim will save at sleep. Some obsolete old mods he should remove. Not only disable them. They come from the mod More Nasty Critter V9. SexLabNudeCreatures.esp SexLabNudeCreaturesDB.esp SexLabNudeCreaturesDG.esp Use this one instead. If you want one stable more nasty critters and dont mess up whit creature framwork. Make sure that you delete all files from old MNC since it contains Old files that dont work well whit new mods. You seems have Bodyslide installed for CBBE. It added RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp Suggest you remove all that is for UNP, the bodys is not compatible. Use one of them for making the game more stable. And SafetyLoad? Kill it, take your car and drive over it, obsolete. If you think you need any similar mod use this one instead. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85443 Whit that load you dont even need Crashfixes, if you dont have 12000+ Animations and other big mods, that I cant se that you dont have. You have DD it can take its toll but you should be fine. I have not used crashfixes at all. If you dont have EnbBoost installed, install it. And dont use SaveCleaners on regular basis on your save, since you can if handled wrong wreck your save. Orphan scripts do Skyrim it self clean out, what is important is to terminate them. If you cant get pass 20 hours in your game, you need to stop clean saves, you need to find the issue, you cant disable mods and use savecleaners for fixing stuff.
