aep AEP_Career_4.8.3 - Bug Update- December 4, 2025

As far as I can see career is closed for teens. I even tried different mods that allow teens to give up school, but still unable to join.  But now I have another problem ... career does not seem work at all. I joined (made an adult sim this case), but when working hours come my sim does not do anything, do not go anywhere. There is no work... 

Am I doing something wrong?

Think a few others have had similar problem maybe if you loak a couple pages back it might be possible there is some solution for your problem there, so might be worth checking back usually the standard would be to track conflicts first. By making sure that you only have this mod and wickedwhims running and then delete localthumbcache.package after while game is running and start it up again. Another suggestion if it does not work would be to do game repair, by going to origin my game library and right click sims 4 pick game repair. Another thing might be worth trying is doing Shift+ctrl+c and type ww.fix so make sure wickedwhims isn't bugged.

 

Aside from that not really sure, but if it's conflict with other mods you should be able to track which mod cause conflict by adding each mod, if this mod work while only wickedwhims and the AEP mod is running. Might be worth noting that Zerbu Venue change does cause problem and latest update here is made in such a way you only need this mod for go to school to work.

So far only one of my households have been able to actually use the camera. For others it lets you record but will never transfer the videos to the video station. Even with my one family where it works, if they move house it causes the problem so my growing family has to stay in one small apartment if I want them to be able to upload videos. Anyone else experiencing this or have a suggested fix?

You have to have the camera near or in the same room as the video station.

I had camera on another floor first, thought it wasn't working myself.

Maybe @Ksuihuh could change the distance to solve this issue?

Not sure if it's a bug or intended but every time I turn the camera on for my sims to be videoed, it only produces a video if the sim who turned the camera on doesn't partake. Basically she can only video other sims having sex. The second she joins in, the camera automatically turns off and no video is made

Are you turning on the camera first then having sex?

Would be nice if the video recognized the type of people involved. After all, the camera is able to see if its good sex or not. Why not old young style, or twin sisters etc (for instance WW have a moodlet for "sex with younger people" or when someone catch inappropriate relationship). Still, cool mod.

I like your idea. I was planning on adding something like that for photos, but not sure yet how much I can actually do. Anyway, Viable Photography is a great mod, could really help if you want to earn money with photography.

Yeah, I suppose I'm just not that great with planning. I'm trying to release things people want most first. But I'm usually working on a few things at the same time and I'm often just not sure if I could make some things work till the time of the next update. I don't want to make empty promises, but I agree that it would beneficial for people to have more information. I will try to publish something about what I'm working on Patreon, maybe I can do information post once a month at least.

You shoud out camera closer to videostation. It's the game bug.

Thank you for help and kind words  @B10HAZARD. This is the game's bug, I hope EA will fix it someday, but I see if I can do something about it?

Thank you! The thing is, I can't run interaction at the same time as WW, because of it I don't have a way to detect who participate in sex. I was advised on how I can try to do it through buffs, but I didn't have time to try it yet, so I'm not sure how exact and in what way I will be able to detect parameters of sex interaction. In any way, I will try to improve recording system in every way I find possible and eventually I hope it will be more sophisticated.

Do you have 'Get Famous' expansion? Did your sim get Recording in Progress buff after you turned on the camera? Try to run the game with only AEP and WW, see if you can record something. It might conflict with something.

Yes, I have get famous, I've also tried the mod with only MCCC and WickedWhims. I assume that shouldn't happen - my sim should be able to record herself? It's no massive issue, I was just interested to know

Is your MCCC upto date? you should have version- 6.2.0

I am running MCCC/WW/CNWW/BD/NWP + LitlleMsSams mods=RBF/RSM + 5gb CC & this mod works fine.

I love this mod and use it with one of my deviant sims all the time. She makes a ton of money with ad deals and her videos! The only thing I was curious about is why we can't use the weight machines to also "keep in shape?"

All my mods are up to date, I have all expancs and I took out all my CC bar the required script mods. Just that one thing doesn't work. Like I said it's no massive issue. Just a little annoying

1) I don't have the City Living expansion, how does this impact the functionality of the mod?

 

2) I've received a call to meet someone at the studio but cant find where to progress this interaction, is this because I don't have City Living?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but do I have to download the porn studio to see my sim working? I'm not too sure how this all work. I have all the DLC's. My sim disappears to work like any regular job.

Don't think you do photography studio should be in venue thing within the mod itself, however if you don't download the studio made for this mod. You would need to built your own studio for it to work, you'll need to add the following things for the photo studio venue:

 

All-In-One Styling station(recommend adding good space around this and wardrobe to prevent pathing bugs)

Wonderous Wardrobe Platform

In a Flash Photo studio

Bar of some kind for the bartender

(Not entirely sure if you need reception desk from get to work and chair or if it's just for visuals, also not sure if you need to add WC or if it's optional)

 

Then ofcause you would need to switch venue of the one you built to have to photo studio venue.

True but the active photo shoot invite you receive wont work in latest version correctly without the Venue for it and the photo studio inworld since it work similiar way to the get to work careers. But rest should work fine without it. (EDIT: Nvm was thinking of latest patreon version, if you don't have that you would only need Flash in a studio prop inside you're residential estate to hire photographer to do that, everything else should work perfectly to without venue in the current version on loverslab. Sorry for the confusion)

I don't think we have the same version. I don't have a single custom content lot/building in my gallery from this mod.

I just didn't add interaction in the beginning and then I just forgot. I can add interaction for the weight machine in the next update.

I don't know why you have such problem in the game, I will try to find what could cause it.

Well, if you don't have City Living some functions of the mod won't be available to you. I'm not sure about studio event, I think it should still work.You just need to wait for the second call in the evening and your sim will go to rabbit hole event automaticly.
