Hello, dear readers.

Aren’t quests nice? They are often very precise, detailing your objectives, destination and even reward. Most of the time we know exactly where to go and what to do there. But sometimes things just refuse to go according to plan.

Special thanks go to @SpyVsPie without whose talents and tremendous help this episode wouldn’t be possible. ?

Warning: This chapter includes a barely consensual theme and is really NSFW. ?

Oh no. We have all seen what happened when your Cass ate cream-filled pastries. Murder! Confusion! Mayhem! Come to think of it - those are all the things that Lady Eira likes and she's certainly not afraid to get her hands dirty. ?

The world needs more attractive ladies covered in creamy pastry filling

Well, well, always a pleasure to have another Kiki adventure served ! Now, screens colors & outfits, dialogues and poses were as entertaining as ever... But to me Eva outlined an imperfection which is becoming somewhat recurrent : things are too easy. Get surrounded by bandits ? Talk it out. Wanna have sex with your foe ? Talk it out. Whereas Cyrus could perfectly have asked Eira to shut up and walk, and threatened not to wait for her if she went to Solitude. If you take it on reverse, imagine Stranger asking my Serana for "release" XD. So, Careful not to overdo the "talk it out" exist, would be my advice. Nevertheless, I must admit that the wacky and lighthearted way you deal with those also are quite entertaining. And it seems Lady Eira knows what she wants. :classic_tongue:

Malicia : « Hi-i♪ Mrs Eira ! I see you're being very good at being seductive, but I noticed you had a big heat problem, you see ? You should use this -> 8f21c807-24c9-41a8-9864-be243e89e90b_1.2a9ad713b47782fb3af01957a628cc0d.jpeg?odnWidth=undefined&odnHeight=undefined&odnBg=ffffff.

Put it under your shoulders every morning, and Vul Vul will get very more interested, yes. :classic_lightbulb: »

Malicia : « Well, if you're not, you could still share them, yes. :classic_blush: »

You've probably noticed that Lady Eira constantly calls Kiki a brat (due to the fact that the little redhead is 274 years old, which is rather young as far as noble vampires are concerned).

Malicia : «  She's older than an old granny ! Smiley-ryoandr-HFR.gif

                No wonder she can't honey-honey anymore, no. :classic_mellow: »

Ah the downside of being an author - sometimes I forget that most of the story is still in my head/on paper and not published before the reader, therefore something that is clear to me might be very confusing to others. ? You are correct, of course. Pragmatic or not, Cyrus could've walked away on his own.  Even though the roads are dangerous he probably would've been fine getting to the fort by himself. But there lies the problem (which hasn't been really shown yet in more than just through few glimpses) - he's always by himself.  He hates Lady Eira, despises her very being but even her 'horrific company' was still better than no company at all. Cyrus is human - obsessive, overzealous but still ultimately very, very human. So a small part of him, the part that he didn't even realize existed, wanted to continue that odd companionship for just a bit longer.

Of course he reasoned with himself that giving in would simply save time - practical and logical. ?

As for getting out of conflicts through wits/charm/sex/diplomacy - well, that's kind of the theme of Kiki's whole adventure. ? It might change at some point...who knows. ?

Kiki: Dear Malicia, in vampire terms I'm barely a 'young adult'. That's why Uncle Harkon was always so afraid to let me go out anywhere. ?

Ahh, that's it. now it makes sense. There's a small part of him which is getting attached by to lady Eira.

Violence is only one way. There are plenty of others, the key point being to vary. :classic_wink:

It's not that small, you know, it's decent size. I'd say definitely above average...erm, what were we talking about? Emotions, right! It's a tiny emotional attachment and a desire for companionship! ?

Kiki's ability to get out of various situations will be touched upon later in the story. And her recent escape from the bandits...well... she wasn't alone in that alley, was she? There was a certain furry friend with her. ?

Kiki: I really like that Uncle Harkon prefers me, but he never acts on it and I'm technically almost his daughter and it gets so complicated! Ughh, I just want my curse to be over with. ?
