Bad Ends - The Highwayman

We join Elise, an Imperial student studying at the College of Winterhold. Far from home and the Arcane University in the Imperial city she wishes she could afford taking on college duties in order to progress in her studies of Illusion magic.

She's tasked by Urag, the college librarian to retrieve a replacement book (of which the original was destroyed by her...) from Solitude. Begrudgingly she knows it's the only way she'll be able to proceed to the next level in her training so she takes the task and leaves for Solitude.

Whilst on the road near Dawnstar she comes across a shocking sight of 3 women hanging from gallows outside of an old Nordic ruin. Placed there by a group of Highwaymen who are moving camp...and don't have the food to keep loose ends alive...

Little does she know that one of them is still there to move the last of the girls gear over to the new camp...
