The Adventures of Alma The Amorous Alchemist: Desire's Slave

Hello!   And welcome back to the land of Skyrim. Today, we're rejoining Alma, our lovely, and very... loving alchemist. If you recall, around a year ago she botched a lust potion she was brewing for Maven Black-briar in Riften. After testing the mixture on herself, she found it worked a little too well. Now, nearly a year later, she's searching for the proper ingredients to brew an antidote to the insatiable lust she's been living with. We met up with Alma in Whiterun, where she'd take

Skyrim Modding Diary - 25 February 2022

Welcome back, everyone. Today is probably going to be a fairly short entry as it's a busy day at work and I won't have the usual amount of downtime. We're also getting close to starting the next mod cleanup case study, so this weekend our remaining focus is going to be on some cleanup activities and generally getting the mod into configuration where, once the case study is done, we can fairly quickly roll into the next adventure. Speaking in which, if you haven't voted yet on which lead Kirstia

Devious Sound (LE) 1.0

We're finally getting a proper downloading page. New version (1.0) is available. This blog entry will remain for reference purposes, but new updates will be made at page below. Thank you for participating in testing and all the feedback.   ------------------------------------------------------   Description:   Adds new sounds to Devious Devices. Player will occasionally make sounds while wearing certain Devices (yes, just like Devious Training). Sound volume and

Entry 49: The Septim Stops Here

It's Destana.   Damien was poring over stacks and stacks of notes.     "Did you... go back in the Fort?" Serana asked.   "Yes.  Everything inside is dead.  Some kind of poison.  I tested it, and it wasn't anything from this world.  Different from Solaire's world, or any of the beasts I've seen yet.  I may consult a professional Alchemist to figure this out.  From my testing on Skeevers, proximity makes them hypersexual, contact usually paralyzes them, causes excruci

Masterful Valentine

This is about Valentine's 2022, last week - late, but oh well. The day flowed slowly. Seconds felt like minutes, minutes like hours and hours like an eternity. Anything I did for any duration would seem like an instant such as I'd turn my head only to realize the clock's needle hadn't budged, Master was away for business reasons and my life in the daylight is that of a princess locked away in her dark ivory spires for fear of the deleterious sun's gaze, thus, alone, isolated and havi

Skyrim Modding Diary - 24 February 2022

Welcome back, folks. With everything going on in the world today, I'm not sure how much modding I'm going to be in the mood for, but I'm sure I'll do a little and hopefully by sharing it I can at least offer up a little distraction from all the bad news.    We're starting the day with 1,386 mods installed, 1,437 plugins active, and a final load order index of E8.   Harvesting The Nexus   Horny DAR   Tamrielic Grass?     I think that's

Entry 48: Hospitality of Horror

Disclaimer:  The first half is mostly vanilla.  The second half goes to some pretty dark places, thus the NSFL tag.   Fenrir at the helm.  The Thalmor are here and we’re at war.  Though the remaining sensible Imperials are helping, we’re losing.  We lost Riften, Falkreath and Helgen.  It seems like they’ve got a presence in Morthal, as well.  No fighting, just swept through in the night.   I got up early and experimented with moving troops around on the map a bit before Gener

Skyrim Modding Diary - 23 February 2022

Welcome back everyone. Today's entry may seem a little shorter than usual, but that's because I'm anticipating I'll be spending most of my time completing the patchup of Lux. That requires edits to every single vanilla interior top level cell record, so it's a bit labor intensive.    When we wrap up with that, we'll be at 1,379 mods installed, 1,429 plugins active, and a final load order index of F0.   A New Start   Crunching Down   Unique Skulls

About mods releases on Nexus

Few words about "Hidden" status of all my mods on Nexus   I've made the decision to temporarily shut down all my mod releases on the Nexus. Perhaps this is only a temporary measure. We'll see. My reasons for that:   1. Unfortunately, at the moment I don't have enough free time to keep track of all the mods on several sites. 2. I spend 99% of the available time on LL anyway 3. As I can see from the statistics, my mods are not very popular on the Nexus community, so t

Skyrim Modding Diary - 22 February 2022

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend, and to those of you in Ukraine, I hope you are staying safe. We've got about one week before I start my next series, which will be a mod cleanup case study. After that, we'll do a little more modding (mostly final setup stuff) and then kick off Kirstia's third adventure.    Today we are going to update a few mods and also install some 'unannounced content' related to our next story blog. After that, if time permits, we'll keep knocking

Skyrim Modding Diary - 21 February 2022

Welcome back, everyone. Hope all of your in the USA had a good President's Day! Today's going to be another fairly short entry as I've been following the news pretty closely and that's distracted me from hobby time. However, we'll at least get finished up with Frostfield and then take a look at what's new on the Nexus.   We're starting today with 1,365 mods installed, 1,379 plugins active, and a final load order index of EF.   Finishing Frostfield   On The Nexus T
