Guest user29 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 It's going to be spore carriers. Challenging part these days is making it something different from what we've already done.
zvesda Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I also get the issue in v5.0 with the Alpha running away on the hill at the start of the second deathclaw episode. I tried the console command to bring him to the player to no effect (he just stood there), and I tried ignoring it and going down to the sheriff but it didn't provide me with the dialog to buy the house.

[/quote'] I'll take a look at that for the next update. In the meantime, before talking to your alpha and starting the episode, travel to riverside on your own and talk to my NPC out in front of the town and he'll let you start the episode.
srenarc Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 How is the takeover triggered? After the orgy I just get knocked up and I have the same dialogue with lucy about needing to keep suspicion down, but nothing new seems to be happening. I just give birth and get 3 deathclaw eggs, then they hatch and follow me around. Also spore carriers sounds fun, that could give some interesting mutations
Guest user29 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 every 3 or 4 days you should notice the girls that got knocked up getting bigger. After reaching P3 wait another few days and you'll get a message to talk to lucy. The "keeping suspicion down" mechanic isn't in yet.
Guest jenny2011 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I don't understand what to do after the deathclaw takes me to Riverside... I jump off the cliff, go to Riverside, talk to the sheriff, but get no options besides "goodbye" to when I initiate the conversation.
ForlornForsworn Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 As always excellent work from the Sexout Breeder. Thank you for giving people the capacity to help restore the natural beauty of the wasteland by aiding the deathclaws in their noble struggle to become the apex predator of the wastelands.

catapsis Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Well, got it to the point where the Deathclaws massacred everyone. Not sure if there is anything after that, though.
Guest user29 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 After they're all dead lucy will run up to you and say a few words and that's it for now. They do a good job of killing everyone outside, you may need to go into the barracks and get the guys in there as well.
Guest jenny2011 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I'm getting spammed with pregnancy messages in the DC episode 2 now... why? Any way to avoid them? The "You feel a slight bulge... might be pregnant" message keeps on popping up infinite times despite me clicking "OK" over and over D: Thanks for all the help so far!
ForlornForsworn Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Hmm... thinking about the bloatlfys, merely to sketch out my ideas for what might be an interesting twist, would be the possibility of effectively creating your own colony of them, with the player as their queen obviously, and to help produce more offspring you would go off to bring non-essential female characters into the colony to serve as new birthing vectors.

Pretty sure it's just a bug in pregnancy. I'm not doing anything that would cause it. Usually reloading a save from before it will fix it for now until halstrom get's it's sorted. I'm pretty sure the game gets confused if you're at p0 or p1 stage and decides to spam you with messages.

ForlornForsworn Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Sorry for the trouble, a fresh save did the trick.
doomcat9 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 is there some way to like make it so that after the riverside episode you dont have to keep frikkin cleaning the sheriffs house D:
FusRoDah Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 The only reason they wouldn't attack is if this block didn't run for whatever reason. if (GetGameLoaded || GetGameRestarted) ListAddForm EmbeddedWeapons A3BloatFlyShooter If you reload a save it'll probably work fine. If that doesn't work do a clean save. Restarted, Reloaded etc. etc. Several times. I guess I'll have to play a clean save then.

CFS Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 In the Deathclaw promontory, is there any way to get food/drink? I can't leave the main cave with all the girls in, and the fridge has those tokens that make the game think you've already given birth the requisite number of times for trust. Am I just supposed to use those for the deathclaw friendly way (as opposed to distracting guard with Lucy) Great mod either way, I love that you can side with the creatures and become their queen
Guest user29 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 If you blow a guard you'll get "food" and "water"

Oh wait, wrong Fallout. Nonetheless, they would still certainly appreciate being encased in slime and bring turned into what was roughly analogous to a bloatfly factory. Though, to inquire, are those slimes slated for future use in Breeder? They were rather interesting after all and whomever is responsible for making them deserves a thumbs up.
seyal Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 i think the slime was used in oblivion as well, seems pretty useful for keeping NPCs in place
Evilrunner Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Typing out a PM with ideas for the next episode. No idea how long that will take though
Guest user29 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I'm just about to dig into the next episode but I'll wait for your PM. i think the slime was used in oblivion as well' date=' seems pretty useful for keeping NPCs in place [/quote'] The slime and animations were actually created by MasterChris. The same guy that made 5 of my requested deathclaw animations. I am planning to use the slime stuff quite heavily with the spore carriers. As I said a few pages back, think Little shop of horror's meet's Alien.
Guest jenny2011 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Is there supposed to be deathclaws in the basement of the Riverside home? Talked to your character in Riverside to start the quest, but when I brought Sara to the room, she seemed to be screwing an invisible deathclaw. The only other creature (besides Samantha) in the room when I bought it was a hostile molerat.
