Okay I give up. I really need some help here

I have tried everything with skyrim and my mods but no matter what i do i always crash. I need some help, I really want to have fun with this game but i don't know what else to do except get a new computer. Please help me out.

i dont see you have fnis either.

what i do when i have this problem is uncheck all mods on my nexus manager and activated then on groups of 5 you will find the cause for sure with this way.

"I always crash" - that's not a very useful statement. When? Where? How?

 

Wither way, that's a really weak pc to be playing games with. Especially the graphics card, which is below minimum specs for the hi-res texture pack, never mind any graphics-related mods. That cpu looks underpowered as well, so you need to be careful with script mods.

That being said, this isn't necessarily the cause of your crashes. You might need to provide more details for us to be able to help though.

Hi. Its not about new PC even with 1080TI you will crash because of Skyrim's prehistoric engine. Try to read (download first) this guide . Try to first install bacis mods like body (UNP or CBBE for example) Sexlab, skeleton, FNIS and their requirements ofc. If it works try to add other mods, not all, but few at the same time. And you need to do some papyrus tweaks and stability mods too without them Skyrim with alot of mods gonna crash anyway.

have you actually used LOOT in order to see if you are having conflicts or missing mods to make it work

Try reading S.T.E.P. or one of the other respected guides.

Try reading some of the other threads in the Tech Support section.

 

You are asking a lot of your hardware.

You are running a lot of old mods there.

You are running a lot of problematic mods there.

Well I used loot tried to keep my mods at a certain level used the papyrus tweaks, the crash fix mod, and the skse memory patch and it still crashes or when loading it will say not responding and at some times it will crash.

That being said, this isn't necessarily the cause of your crashes. You might need to provide more details for us to be able to help though.

Okay thanks so do you think I should just get a new laptop and if so what would you recommend? I have three that come to mind Alienware, the Asus gaming laptop and the HP omen X. Also what I mean when crash is the game will run for a while the it will freeze and say that the game isn't responding and the crash and it happens randomly regardless of what I'm doing or where I am

Yes but I can't seem to see what wrong with it or see where the conflicts are like I can with wrye brush or tes5edit

That .esm.esp extension is something I noticed when I first installed the mod.

 

If you are using Crash Fixes, try the following settings

UseOSAllocators=1

AlignHeapAllocate=1

CustomMemoryBlock=1

CustomMemoryBlockTotalSizeMb=64

 

Variations would be to set AlignHeapAllocate to 0 and/or set CustomMemoryBlock to 0

Those two seem to do the msot when it comes to CTDs in general.

 

Another thing to do is to use Ordenador to optimize your textures.

MO is not the only way to install mods. I'm not talking about NMM, either. I manually install and use MO only to unpack fomod archives. I copy the result from MO's mods folder manually into the Skyrim\Data folder from there.

We know that. We also know it's a daft way of going about it for most users. It's a daft way for you if you are going to have MO installed and used for one thing but not another. How you ever made sergeant I'll never know.

To do that is stupid. Use MO for that is........... Proof of not knowing what he do, and lack of know how. And why.

And that rolls back to what he knows. That is installing mods manuall. And that it self have some problems we should not talk about.

 

In MO you can do amazing things you cant even think about when installing manually or using NMM or Vortex.

With respect, Grey Cloud, Uncle64, how I do things is up to me. At 60 years old, I tend to prefer a more hands on, manual way of doing things. Furthermore, I don't particularly care for how MO does things. I like the fast, easy way of flagging missing masters but not how it handles the files. In the end, its my game, my computer and my way.
