Nintendude1236 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Recently switched from NMM to MO (a process that has taken much longer than it should have), and I've now run into the latest issue in this process: Bodyslide does not appear to be functioning properly through MO. Running Bodyslide itself through MO and trying to build a UUNP body shows the following in the preview: Meanwhile, in game all female NPCs seem to have simply defaulted to vanilla bodies. Bodyslide settings are as follows: I am quite certain I followed the installation instructions for Bodyslide for MO correctly. Any suggestions?
Fifoo Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Have you tried clicking on the magnifying glass in the group filter, refreshing groups and then choosing your desired bodyslide mod? Reminder: Don't forget to restart your computer after installing BodySlide.

Reminder: Don't forget to restart your computer after installing BodySlide. PC has been restarted numerous times since initial Bodyslide installation. Refreshing groups and playing with group filter has produced no change. I previewed a UUNP outfit from UUNP Vanilla Outfits (HDT), and it seemed to apply the same incorrect skin texture as seen above on the Unified UNP Special body (image 1). I also notice in image two that the Game data path is still set to the Skyrim data folder. From my lamest observations, what seems to be happening is: Bodyslide is pulling on vanilla textures rather than proper UUNP ones Bodyslide is still trying to place the newly generated outfits and bodies in the vanilla data folder, which of course is incompatible with how MO works. If that is indeed correct, how do I go about fixing these issues?
Fifoo Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 In that case, please, I invite you to read the 5 posts made by ousnious - the mod author, in an archived thread instead of multiplicating the how to's instructions in the Technical support. You will surely find there your answer, there's even a linked video tutorial. Here: Bodyslide, HDT, and Mod Organizer... help?
Nintendude1236 Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 The thread helped some (I've since corrected the game path directory to mod organizer/mods), but it's still left me with many unanswered questions. Where is bodyslide meant to be pulling skin textures from? I have no mods that add only UUNP skin textures, though previously with NMM I did have Dimonized UNP. Would it have pulled from there? Why does it not do so now having reinstalled said mod with MO? When I do manage to start building bodies (say, naked base bodies) and they go to MO overwrite, where do I put those files from there? Or should I make a new mod entirely out of them? Same question for UUNP outfits and armour, too.

I think that a little reading on the subject will allow you to better understand how BodySlide works and especially how MO will manage the data: CBBE/UUNP and BodySlide with Mod Organizer BodySlide and Outfit Studio - Wiki Important note: When you have created your "Personal Outfit mod" put it at the end of your Modlist just above your Bashed Patch if you have any and activate your new created mod, load LOOT inside MO and sort your Load Order - that I recommend to do.

And with these two links and a bit of experimentation accompanying, I appear to have nearly solved this. Set game data path to Mod Organizer/mods/Bodyslide and Outfit Studio folder, copied appropriate resources from bodyslide mods (outfits and armour) into bodyslide folder, and now models and outfits preview properly with their appropriate textures; with the exception of Vanilla UUNP Outfits, which of course draws from the vanilla bsa files for textures.

You could eventually go for installing a vanilla Outfit bodyslided replacer - according to your needs, like this one for example: UUNP Vanilla Outfits Bodyslides. You're spoiled for choice on sites hosting mods, search with Google for your desired Body type.

I asked a few clarifying to the mod author, and...everything seems to be in working order now! My thanks
