Creating a new game start environment. Can someone recommend to me which HDT to install? I don't know jack shit about HDT SMP, HDT all in one, HDT PE. Can someone guide me or link me to which would be best to be installed? Mostly using UNPBO(O) 7BO, UUNP body types. Thank you

SMP is another method of achieving the same thing as HDT but made by different author and as such a different system so the gear (armor, clothing.etc) has to be designed for it. I don't see very much gear for SMP yet but there is some in the downloads section here on LL. The majority of gear is built for HDT so I would recommend you start with that.

 

HDT all in one I think still requires HDT PE installed but has body options in the all-in one installer (I believe) that support that physic extension (PE)

As for SMP I am not familiar with. However, if using All-in-One, it requires HDT-PE [HDT Physics Extensions] in order to not only get the breast and butt collision, but also vaginal collision. HDT-PE is required by all HDT mods since they all utilize the hdtphysicsextension.dll and etc.

If you want the difference, CBBE HDT body, requires HDT-PE for the breast and butt collisions just like the UNP Variants of their HDT/BBP mods. However, All-In-One body mod I would suggest doing. Why? Well because of the reasons above. A vagina that reacts and opens vs. one that stays closed all the time. Now, HDT Breast and Butt TBBP/BBP mods are out there, but not like the ALL-In-ONE. CBBE HDT Body and etc give more range of jiggle effects and collisions. All-in-one body has it's own setup for this.

In other words, if you want breast and butt jiggles/collisions, download XPMSE Skeleton on Nexus [+requirements] and then HDT-PE. After that, install All-In-One body for the customized variants of physics for breasts and butt while have collision for the vagina. [Vagina reacts when touched and opens when penetrated.] Also, All-In-One body has a mod menu that allows you to choose "Clams body" [CBBE body] or UNP body. Also, it will install the bodies to your custom race if you use, "Lunari", "Temptress", or "Ningheim." I use the CBBE variant for the bodyslide function since UNP for isn't built yet.  :3

Well, as far as I know, hdt pe, compared to smp, is less precise, but still does its job if you ask me. I am using hdt all in one by HeroedeLeyenda and let I overwrite it with bazingas hdt naturalistic setup and thats it for me. Also smp is more resource hungry and requires additional program to run on startup. I would recommend using hdt pe all in one by Heroede (uunp support) because lack of hdt smp armors  and hdt pe seems simplier to use, for me at least, since I am afraid of touching my hdt pe setup when everything works just fine. I would say smp needs some more time to get more support etc. If you got more questions, just ask. Hope I somehow helped.

Thank you guys very much for the replies and insights, I really appreciate it. Which do you recommend for UNPBOppai or 7bo that has animated belly butt vagina kinda like all in one, and which hdt settings preset would be best?

I would go with 7bo, because it has bodyslide support + all the physics, so you can customize the body to your likings. Hdt settings depend on your taste. Some people like things bouncy and some people want it more static. As said before, I recommend Bazingas preset, because the amount of bounce is just right for me. You can always look up in the hdt pe downloads section and look around to find something suitable for you.

It's the all in one I linked before, cbbe/uunp with some replacers etc. When you install it correctly, you will have a bodyslide ready body that supports physics.

basically false information with the initial post. both HDTPE and SMP were made by the same person (iirc it was because Havok stuff is proprietary, and bullet physics used in SMP isn't.) In a nutshell, HDT was out first so many of the existing mods support it but its library is EOL. SMP is the direction that people will eventually take, as it is already supported in Skyrim Special Edition for instance, while HDTPE will probably never see the light again. Both have their pros and cons, and really, it depends on what you are trying to do with it in the end.

 

 

when it comes to body types that you were looking at (UNPBO/7BO) both are supported in bodyslide.

 

normal bodyslide can generate the normal HDT body (uunp special) primarily for HDTPE usage, prZ's all in one(and fixes found in prZ's thread for those using tats) will generate a good body for SMP usage. PE bodies also have that one chinese varient found in Bazinga's Naturalistic HDT and Beast HDT thread (basically labia varient and puffy uunp nipples. I would post a comparison, but IDK if i ever uploaded one(i could have sworn i did). I did, though post the side shot at this post back when I use it here. It's not fitted out of the box for SMP use though

 

 

slightly unrelated but sometimes it hurts me when people enjoy using UNPBO/7BO. I basically inherited editing rights to the original thread but never really used it when the big modders for the bodies left haha. Great to see that people still enjoy using the body though.
