I have a minor problem: Male feet texture is mismatched.

I have this SOS installed and Tempered Skin for male SOS Light installed (and disable the SOS Light .esp)  Tempered skin just offers better skin and options.  Everything worked fine in the past up until I had to reinstall a lot of things due to CTD issues (not related to SOS, fortunately).  Oh it's related to SKEE being unstable.  But upon reinstalling SOS and Tempered Male skin, I think I messed up choosing what to override and feet ends up with wrong texture.

So my question is this: Is there different body mesh system for male like CBBE vs UNP that interprets texture differently?  If so, what is SOS (this mod) is using, and what is Tempered Male skin using?

sos swaps out the feetses for the meat & potatoes on the texture, thus, your feet mesh is wrong and its calling a texture from somewhere else, copy the SOS stuffs back in, especially the feet.  Also, consider using Mod Organizer 2 takes many of the pains of modding away, especially overwriting things.

I asked this elsewhere already in the request forum, but perhaps this is a better place because its SOS related.

Ive got a question google seems incapable of answering due to so many having the opposite problem....  lol

I have made a mod to convert all the NPC's in Northern Bathhouses SE to be all males, however I cant seem to figure a way for them to remain nude, if I delete all the outfits & clothing from their record in CK then they put on the SOS underwear & its stuck in game.  Is there a way to have them remain nude forever?  The NPC's never leave the bathhouses, they stay in there and are not in any quests.

The Bathouses have auto-strip code when NPC enter the baths or steam rooms, but it doesnt work if there's no clothing in their inventory and they end up stuck with SOS underwear on.

I suppose I could use a revealing loin cloth as their only clothing inventory.  But why cant they just stay nude? is that really an impossibility?  They walk around the bathhouse and sit in chairs and such, doing so swinging the meat & potatoes seems far more appropriate.   I guess another option might be to expand the auto-strip area to encompass the whole space, though seems like a challenge and would have to be done for every bathouse.

Anyone else had this challenge when modding?

I may have this solved by using a towel mesh Kou is making over on vectorplexus for SAM, which I am using all SAM mesh in SOS-Full, but regardless this seems like it should be a known thing to do, sometimes we need the npc to stay nude.  lols

So you are saying I should get the feet from SOS or Tempered Male?  Or does it even matter as long as I get proper mesh + texture from the same source?

I hear about MO2 but I am still very skeptical because it is a huge move from NMM.  What I like about NMM is because it's ... there and it directly downloadable from Nexus site.  But I am stuck at NMM's inability to move to a different computer.  I have FO4 on an old computer and I am looking at rebuilding all mods from scratch (if I am to play FO4 again).  Sure I can copy the entire mod folder over, but NMM wouldn't recognize the installed mods.  The deal with NMM is the complexity of which mods overwrite which (for things to work in harmony) that is not stored.  So does MO2 offer something more advanced than NMM, especially in term of portability?  I am looking in running Skyrim SE on my laptop too but I am NO WAY going to reinstall all mods again from scratch.

Seems like some other foot mesh is there, the texture path is in the nif so its grabbing the texture from elsewhere.  If its the right foot mesh it will get the texture from the same place the body mesh is getting its textures.  I tried all the different ones for SOS-full (oldrim skins) and didnt have the mismatched feet thing, but if you look back in this thread here some folks did get it and found their solution.  For textures make sure you're not using the SOS-Lite compatible versions as thats a different setup, you'll want the SOS full ones from oldrim or others converted.

As for the MO2 it can take over NMM links too for auto download, just the same as NMM does.  You can get the latest MO2 at the nexus site, its in active dev while NMM is abandoned for a very long time now.  There are tutorials for migrating to MO2 from NMM, ive done it in the past its fairly painless.  Overwriting is brilliant in MO2 because you can drag and drop mods in  alist to organize overwriting, and disable/enable them at any time, review and manage conflicts etc, nothing actually overwrites, all the mods stay clean and in tact, its the virtualization when overwriting is actually active, only when playing the game.   You can leave NMM installed and untouched to test MO2 and if you dont like it just uninstall mo2 and reset the NMM links back to NMM, this way its less risky.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I am using the SOS Lite that is part of the Tempered Skin SOS Light (automatically included a schlong) and manually disable the .esp file.  Hmmm, full, but I thought Oldrim Mesh would cause problem with SSE?  Should I try a regular male skin without SOS?  Or there would be clipping?  It is strange because this would never happen before.

And thanks for the encouragement with MO2.  Why is NMM abandoned?  Isn't it the baby of Nexus?  If anything, I thought NMM would be bigger than MO2 as it is backed by a for profit company instead of weekend-warrior unpaid dev.  Not saying the unpaid creators are not as good, but certainly we all have lives to get to where mod creation takes back seat.

I will find a time to give MO2 a try.

Edit: OMFG!!! I suddenly remember this Loverslab forum has function to search within topic.  I did, found the instruction... and ... now both Joy of Perspective and SOS with feet WORK!  Too exhausted to even try figuring out what went wrong.  This stupid game.  Almost 1 month since I decided to come back, and look, I have spent all my time playing with mods.  I am still a level 4 (after restarting about 5 times).

Oh, i thought you're using SOS-Full? Thats the page you're in hehe, the lite is not needed anymore unless thats what you wanted.  I was only talking about oldrim skins, since they have the same setup with the footswap, which sos-light doesnt have, thus skins are not compatible between them.

lol the modding is the best part! dont forget to check here for all the LL SSE things as they come available, https://www.loverslab.com/topic/94228-sse-conversion-tracking-may-21-1120/?

Nexus is working on their new mod manager vortex, but its still not ready, maybe abandoned is the wrong word for NMM but its certainly been feature locked for years, with no official support.  MO2 is better IMO, since its focused on Bethesda games and has loads of features, there's a pretty decent sized team that's working on it too.

I'm using the Tempered Skins body with SoS and it works fine with some "adjustment" in NifSkope- see my earlier post on fixing Tempered Skins SoS-Light for how I got it to work.

Other than that, I don't understand your post- UNP is a female body type, so why would we need a "conversion of UNP" in regards to SoS? SoS is for males. Are you talking about a Futa girl?

SkyUI SAS is an Alchemy mod- how does that relate to SoS?

What is the B3lisario "addon" file? What does it do?

There is no context for your post and I don't understand any of it. Would you mind explaining it, or providing a link to a description of what this is all about, or a previous-post quote?

This addon was made by Balistro3 who disappeared a while back (SOS was his work), as do SkyUI SAS which disappeared with his newer account, and no source provided for the DLL.

The addon is intended to be added on for Futa females and comes with UNP texture(both NPC and player), much like the three for male, HDT SMP is working, and there are no errors according to SSEEdit, so I think it's a successful conversion. And SOS is far more than just giving male Schlongs. Also, my conversion of female schlongnifier so not all female ended up with schlong, pubic hair, and horse all proven successful, but those authors are likely still around.

Also really sorry for my confusing lingustic pattern. I was born speaking like this, and in any language.

I've been having CTDs after a fresh install with a pretty large list of mods, but by toggling them variously I think this mod may be the (or a) culprit.

Specifically, it seems to be the "SOS - Smurf Average Addon.esp" that's causing issues.

The crash occurs when loading a game that was saved with this mod active. Starting a fresh game or loading an old save without this mod for the first time works fine, but at soon as I save I seem to have broken my save file. Disabling the esp and trying to reload the broken save doesn't work.

I've replicated the issue reliably and repeatably on my game, and if I toggle no other esps the result has been as described 100% of the time. I have experienced similar CTDs when enabling some other esps, which is interesting. I don't know if they coincidentally suffer from a similar bug or if this points to a different mod that somehow this and the other esps are both able to break but otherwise works. I'm investigating those other mods further, and I'll add more information if I learn anything.

Here's the log file as requested by OP.

EDIT:

It seems it might not have been as predictable as I first thought. It may have coincidentally been an issue of timing that I kept repeating, which explains the issues caused by the other mods. i.e. Perhaps some mod's initialization script was taking a very long time to run, and I was catching it in various states of completedness during my testing.

I've now disabled SOSRaceMenu.esp, which was not meant to be there (I had initially intended to use RaceMenu, but opted for ECE instead since it's not in beta for SSE). Things *seem* to have been stable since. I haven't tested for very long, but the matter may be solved.

I'm actually replying to julias11 & vyxenne's posts at the top of this page. And quoting something I said on the "playable transgender" mod which hasn't been touched in over a year.

"Can guarantee the latest full SOS (don't know about SOS Light) with B3lisario's UNP Addon work perfectly. Once you've converted the UNP as per these instructions - https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Porting_Skyrim_mods_to_Skyrim_Special_Edition

Naturally you'll need the latest SKSE64, SkyUI, and have them settled in. I think the instructions above imply that the Creation Kit save (of the UNP esp in 64 bit) does that plus switching the meshes to 64 bit as well within the mod as installed in the game. So the original 7z download, and the unwrapped source files are still 32bit.

But after the save, the game is ready to play and a couple of minutes in UNP appears in the UI SOS menu.   What a relief - in every sense!.

The sheer hassle of waiting for the good stuff to finally appear in SE is nearly enough to give up and go back to 32 bit.

OSA/OSex may be fine - I don't have a NumPad in the keyboard. Forget it. Ported "Follow me for Sex" and had it running successfully on top of Sexlab & Sexlab Light (even able to switch anims & positions in game), then tried deleting some anims I had no use for - all the NPCs locked in position. Luckily uninstalled the three mods mentioned, and got the game running again - but Flower Girls is a bit tame!.

Haven't tried it, but pretty sure SoniyaShepard's sexy little Ningheim could be sporting a good sized, fully functional, UNP. In fact I'll try it now to be sure.

Yes, UI menu gets a little frazzled and pretends to refuse, might need LazyBodyEdit to manipulate the details, but that "little Ningheim" looks great!!."

Not going to get into Nifscope and all manner of editing. Just did a simple port, and got on with it. Schlong meshes perfectly with UNP, CBBE, etc.; won't work with Femboy, but does with the "Wench" brigade of Yuriana the Tank, and even the heavily modified Ningheim above.

The latest XPMSSE is not competible with SKEE. Wait for Lord expired for a update. The log is perfectly fine.

You can use XPMSSE version 4.20 with the latest game and SKSE64 versions without any problems. Groovtama still has it available on the Nexus page.

That's what I am saying, but 4.32 is so much more. The best chance we have is probably another SSE update.

That said, the biggest problem right now is texture mismatch with CBBE SE even with the texture mod for Oldrim. I also have mostly functional conversion of Evil's horsecock 2, who is in the scene, and both schlongnifier and pubic hair. Gender Bender is working, but I have problem with esm fying, though it is under development.

I am using SOS Full. SOS Lite is not bad, but I see the potential in SOS full as Oldrim version people have created great things like ... 3d pubic hair for female using SOS framework.  So it's a matter of time.

The reason I used Tempered Skin SOS Lite because it has a much better skin than SOS Full default.  I just have to install it, go to Nifskope to remove the penis mesh from male body, and delete SOS Lite.esp.  Did I mention that to have a [more] perfect blend of the schlong, it is best to install SOS Full with hair skin (it will install the schlong with hair).  And no matter what version of Tempered skin to use, the pubic hair helps to mask the seam.  If you want a completely bald area, just use SOS full default body without hair.

When you say much more, how much more?

I  managed to get 4.3.1 working for a short while (CTD would happen eventually).  And I was delighted to enjoy custom weapon mounting points for my player character, even spell casting animation like ... casting from nipples, fun.  But it is quite novelty, and what would the hands do if magic is casting out of the nipples?  Anyway, what else is there that 4.3.1 offers that 4.2 doesn't?

As the Bishop said when the choirboy dropped a goldfish into the Holy water, "Holy Carp!" :classic_tongue:Where do I get 3D Pubic hair? I can convert it from Oldrim if I can find it! OMG please, Google doesn't find it!

I already did the conversion. But they might still be around so it will be impolite. I do think just esp should do.

Edit: I thought you mean regular pubic hair. But I just found it: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71755/?tab=files

Ok cool, I understand, but with SOS full SSE you can use any of the oldrim skins for SOS since it has the same UV setup, I tried them all and they all worked.  Eventually I ended up merging the SAM mesh into the SOS-full mod though lol, SAM only has a lite version available until racemenu gets all its features back someday, so I converted the oldrim sam mesh for SOS, SOS is a great mod with a lot of cool features, too many goodies not to have use of. :)

So ill stop rambling now lol, but feel free to try all the SOS skins from Oldrim, they will all work in SOS-Full-SSE.

SAM high-poly mesh & SAM skins in SOS-full for sse below.

I tried my hand at converting at converting SOS schlong for female (cbbe version) but for some reason, it doesn't scale with racemenu sliders and I can't configure the size in SOS mcm...

That's a texture mod for UNP addon. I had a conversion in page 11. And racemenu sliders are working just fine for me.

Also use sos pubic hair, instead of 3d pubic hair. Gender Bender supports both Schlongnifier and SOS pubic hair but not the one on Nexus. (detects Schlong and assign sexlab gender).

I already did the conversion. But they might still be around so it will be impolite. I do think just esp should do.

Edit: I thought you mean regular pubic hair. But I just found it: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71755/?tab=files

Oh, I have "regular pubic hair" from Leyenda Skins, it's just not 3D-looking. Thank you for the link, just grabbed it and on my way to convert and fit to my UUNP body since it's a CBBE mod.

EDIT- Well, crap, it's not just pubic hair- it's full body replacement and it's CBBE. :classic_blink: Thanks anyway for linking it! ?

2 questions:

1: Is this a port of the full SOS mod, or another port of the Lite? (I'm waiting for the full version.)

2: Do you have any idea when you think this may be fully compatible/playable?

The full SOS mod with a recompiled and partially rewritten dll.

It's fully playable.
