The spawn tables have been indeed edited to allow all version-exclusive Pokemon from Blue and Yellow to appear in their respective areas so for those who really want to complete the Pokedex in the nude can do so without needing to trade with another version of the base game. So far, this is only for BareRed/Blue but I have plans to do the same for BareYellow, and I've also yet to allow a way to obtain trade evolution Pokemon without trading which should be addressed in a future update.

You are the greatest, thank you so much! I'll start work on the full hack tomorrow evening using these sprites! I think my first step will be to alter the spawn tables to no longer exclude certain Pokemon from FireRed, which is a pretty lightweight edit and should take just a bit. Next will be importing these sprites, then I'll begin editing the dialogue! I really appreciate this awesome sprite work. Don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything I can help you with for your male version!

@Catnatic Hi there! Trying to import your sprites now that the encounter tables have been modified. May I ask what programs you use for all this? I'm primarily using HexManiacAdvance, and it seems like the formatting of the sprite sheets is different compared to the images in the zipped folder you shared. Do you know of an easy way to import/replace the ingame sprites using the sheets you provided?

My romhacks are based on the decomp projects where the images are raw PNGs that I can easily edit with any image editor like Aseprite, and dialogue are text files that I can simply edit with Notepad++.

 

The only biggest hurdle of the decomp project is learning how to install and use a Linux-based environment (Windows Subsystem for Linux) for building a ROM. If you're able to overcome that then you can just make changes/replacements to the assets, build the ROM, and you'll have a game with edits applied.

Never mind! I changed the formatting myself and (hopefully successfully) inserted all the nude sprites into the game! Our heroine is now nude in the game's intro, on the player card, when entering battle, and all the time in the overworld. I'm sharing a patch for use with Delta Patcher so everyone can play FireRed with these nude sprites! No dialogue edits yet, but Leaf is naked as can be. If anyone would like to play it for a while, I would really greatly appreciate knowing if there are any issues with the sprites that only appear later on, like fishing and surfing! Also please let me know if the XDelta patch works correctly! Required ROM is "Pokemon - FireRed Version (USA, Europe)"

ALSO! Like with BareRed, I've made some changes to the encounter tables. So you'll be able to encounter all the LeafGreen exclusive Kanto Pokemon like Slowpoke, Vulpix, Sandshrew, and more! I only put them in a few places, so they can be a bit rare, but they are obtainable! (Anyone looking for a certain one, I made myself a list of all the locations and am happy to help you out if needed. They're pretty much all the places where you'd first be able to find them if you were playing LeafGreen.)

You know, we could play along with the versions' titles where your romhack that foucus on Leaf's naked adventure would be based on LeafGreen while my romhack that'll be focused on Red would be based on FireRed respectively.

 

(Similar to how I based my "True Leaf" romhack on LeafGreen because it involved the titular character Leaf.)

 

I just think it'd be a neat touch to have things "thematic" by being on point with the version' names.

I had that thought too, but, at this point I'm pretty deep into the FireRed edit with the updated tables and all. Plus it's the one people are more familiar with, the one used for hacking more, etc. But I do agree that's a fun idea! In a perfect world, we'd have these two games on physical carts and could trade and all!

Before you battle her, Sabrina says,

"I had a vision of your arrival! I have had psychic powers since I was a child. It started when a spoon I carelessly tossed, bent. I dislike battling, but if you wish, I will show you my powers!"

What if you changed that to one of these three:

1. "I had a vision of your arrival! I could not take my mind off of your naked body ever since I first sensed you. I dislike battling, but if you wish, I will show you my powers!"
2. "I had a vision of your arrival! I simply cannot believe my vision that a naked girl was heading this way was true. I dislike battling, but if you wish, I will show you my powers!"
3. "I had a vision of your arrival! I can certainly say that your body is far more attractive in person than it was in my mind. I dislike battling, but if you wish, I will show you my powers!"

After you battle her, Sabrina says,

"This loss shocks me! But a loss is a loss. I admit I didn't work hard enough to win. You earned the MarshBadge."

It could be changed to:

"Would you like to join my gym? I must say I'm impressed. I would never ask trainers if they were unattractive."

 

I just feel like Erika would be the gym leader most accepting of your nudity. Pokemon Uncensored Edition did make her a naturist, after all.

I also think she's gay. Why else does she have a gym full of women and give out the rainbow badge?

This is precisely one of the reasons why I think more people should be comfortable with basing their mods on the decomp project, you only needed to make changes once and then you can produce both modified versions of FireRed and LeafGreen at the same time with ease.

When I modified the spawn encounters for Bare Red and Blue, it was literally an if/else script based on the game's version that I replaced by simply having a list of both version-exclusive (+ Yellow) Pokemon. I only needed to do that once for each map and the changes will be applied for both versions once the ROMs get built simultaneously.

 

That's how I can quickly put together the Bare Blue ROM (with no dialogue edits) with the updated spawn encounters and then Bare Red (with dialogue edits after replacing the text files), and also Naturalmon versions (after replacing the Pokemon sprites). It's all just drag and drop once I finish with the edits.

 

If I were to release my source assets, you only need to drag my files to replace the original assets as you typically would for a PC game and you essentially have a modified version of the game.
Heck, you could even place my assets over someone's modified build of the game and you would have my nude sprites, spawn encounters, and maybe dialogue edits (if applicable) on another mod without the risk of things being broken by patching.

I believe it's meant to be "you want to go" but because of the text box size, you could go with "you wanna go" instead.

These are great suggestions and I'll definitely incorporate them into my edits! I've actually already been thinking the same thing about Erika, how she'd be appreciative of the player's nudity. Pokemon Uncensored Edition did pop into my mind! Her being a naturist is headcanon for me now, hehe
