Yeah that's probably true. To be completely honest, for most of these, I've just been going off of whatever best reference I can find on e621, because I'd rather not have to search for and stare at real bug genitalia if I can help it. Because of that though, anatomical accuracy can really only go so far. For example, I'm pretty sure I did the cloacas wrong on most of the bird pokemon, and I found out after drawing the new Marowak sprite that apparently the Cubone line is supposed to be reptilian, so they wouldn't have vaginas like that, or really at all.

I feel like I'd rather there be something different about sprite at all and it be a little inaccurate then have like half of the Pokemon just go unchanged because they wouldn't realistically have dicks.

fair enough, honestly. i would say something abt Poliwag, but im not sure at what stage frogs grow genitals, so i will hold my tongue. i do appreciate that the 'mons that have no correlation to any animals havent any bits since plants reproduce differently than animals and how tf do a mass of toxic waste given sentience by the moon reproduce? lolol! in terms of spritework tho, i cannot argue w the work u did! mostly cuz i probs wouldn't b able to do any better :P

I also edited the Pokemon in the intro. I'm pretty sure Pokemon Red has the Nidorino, and Blue has the Jigglypuff. You could actually probably just use one of these Nidorino sprites in place of the in-game one, since you can actually see the genitals here.

Once I'm done with these, I'm pretty sure everything is left up to Catnatic, who I'm guessing will just throw these in whenever he releases the next update. Beyond this I think it could be fun to make lewder Pokedex entries (nothing overtly sexual, maybe just explaining fun reproduction info, like how you would a real animal) but I'm not much of a writer, so maybe not. I'd also like to maybe tackle later gens, but the sheer number of Pokemon there overwhelm me. Plus I'd have to start paying attention to sprite differences, and animated sprites.

When you're finished, are you able to upload the sprites as individual images in their original sizes (40x40, 48x48, 56x56) with the same black and white palette?

I prefer if it is so I could simply replace the game's original sprite images with these and immediately build a ROM out of them.

Here's the decomp project for reference on what these raw images are like.

 

Would you be interested in editing the Yellow version of these sprites where the Pokemon have their updated designs from the anime?

Because although it's lovely to have these anatomically-corrected versions of Pokemon, it'd be weird to downgrade their designs if I'm merging them with Bare Yellow.

 

Reproduction information of the Pokemon is a fun idea but I'm not really a good writer for that sort of thing.

We could.

There will be a version of Bare Red that only affects the player sprite with dialogue edit.

I probably could get around to it. I can't promise I'll do it as fast as I did these, but, looking at the sprites, I'm seeing some fun poses to work with (I'm also seeing how ugly these color palettes are oh my god).

I mentioned it because there's this dude named RapistWerewolf on InkBunny, I think, who's lewded nearly every Pokemon up to Gen 3 or 4, along with writing new entries for every Mon. I really like some of his entries, and I used him for reference a lot while making my own sprites, so I thought it could be a fun challenge.

In a perfect world, we wouldn't care about censoring animals, and the Pokemon would just already look like this, but oh well. I'm excited to see how everything comes together.

April Fools!

This is not a serious project and just something made in a day for fun, although drawing these nude sprites for Leaf does give me a head start for my NSFW version of FireRed and LeafGreen that I might work on in the future after Gen 1 and 2.

This is the best kind of April Fools hack, also I still like my idea of having a tribal themed hack where the player character is a member of an isolated tribe exploring the world outside their village and interacting with the regular folk who are seeing this loincloth wearing, tattoo/paint covered youth for presumably the first time ever, with the Professor being in the starting town (or village in this case) both for their own pokemon research and to observe and research this tribe as well. The professor might have been given a house or area in the village to set up their lab.

 

This could also be done as a fangame instead. Knowing myself I probably won't get around to doing that ever, but if someone thinks it's a neat enough concept to work on, they can do it. Just be sure to credit people who inspired you, even if I had nothing to do with it.

Here's every sprite edit. They're not named anything special, aside from the back and title screen sprites, which are marked with a "b" and "title" respectively. I couldn't get around to doing making new sprites for Flareon or Jolteon. I'll have to get back to them later, along with any requested gender swaps. Personally, though, I don't even really like the custom sprites I made, so I'd understand if you wouldn't want to use them at all. Let me know when the patch comes out, and to anyone else who ends up playing through it, please send your screenshots, I'd love to see them.

If you've been waiting for them, I apologise for the long wait and I greatly appreciate your patience.

The kind of features/experience I'm aiming for my lewd Pokémon projects compared to other similar nude hacks are:

  • The player character is the only one nude, with support for both male and female. Nude edits aim to keep things on-model by following canonical proportions.
  • Edits to the dialogue where NPCs appropriately react to the player being nude whilst retaining the vibe of the game – not too vulgar or smutty.
  • In the future, add anatomically-correct genitals to Pokémon sprites.

So far, the player nude sprites are complete. None of the Pokémon sprites have been edited yet. Dialogue edits are unfinished and only last until you complete the 2nd Gym for Red/Blue and 1st Gym for Crystal and Emerald since I only continued work on them this past month. There's plans to continue, but it'll take another long time.

Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that I could fully complete the dialogue edits for Gen I and II due to issues regarding byte size limit.

More text = more bytes = risk of exceeding max size limit. If I'm unable to fix it, I have to switch over to their remakes and port over the textual content.

 

I also can't guarantee if I'll even continue any of these projects further because I want to prioritise on the newer Pokémon games with new nudity reactions and even nude models. I will update this thread with added links to these projects' source files on GitGud when they're ready if anyone's interested in continuing where I left off.

Aseprite project files will also be included if you want to toggle the appearance of accessories like shoes, gloves, and bags.

 

Please familiarise yourself on how to patch a ROM. It's really easy. I suggest using Delta Patcher from Romhacking.net since the patches are in .xdelta format.

 

Pokémon BareRed / BareBlue / BareYellow (GEN I)

BareRed, BareBlue and BareYellow or BareRBY are NSFW versions of the original Gen I Pokémon games that takes place in an alternate reality where your character travels across Kanto in the nude. Note that because you can only play as Red in this game, the nude player character will always be male.

If you like to play with edited dialogue, play BareRed or BareYellow.

If you don't want edited dialogue and only want the nude sprites, play Bare Blue.

 

Story Description:

Red doesn't say much so it's anyone's guess on why he'd be walking about in the nude. Missing clothes? Spur of the moment perhaps?

 

Whatever is the case, Professor Oak realised there could be an interesting case study on how the world including Pokémon would perceive human nudity, so Red is officially given a special request by the Pokémon Professor to report his findings on his unusual Pokémon adventure that could potentially make history.

You checked your wardrobe only to found out that all of your clothes are gone. All you have is your cap and your bag.

There's no time to find new clothes, however. Professor Elm is expecting you to assist him today so you have no choice but to go on an errand in the raw.

 

Although you're not conforming to social norms, Professor Elm insists that you must help him regardless.

Besides, he sees this as a perfect opportunity to study how the people and Pokémon of Johto would perceive human nudity.

Recently, you and your mother have moved to Littleroot Town in the Hoenn region but it came with a cost - the loss of your dignity.

In order to make the move to Hoenn, your mother thought it's a good idea to sell all your clothes away. Every. Single. One.

As embarrassing as that may be, if you want to start your adventure in Hoenn, you have to travel around in your state of undress.

BONUS: Pokémon Flashing Diamond/Pearl (GEN IV)

Surprise, I also made a NSFW version for Diamond and Pearl. However, it's very early WIP.

Only the male player character, Lucas, is naked because he was lacking nude sprites until now while Dawn already has several.

Not all sprites have been replaced though (only the overworld and intro, no battle), and I prefer to do my own sprite edits for Dawn.

 

The amount of dialogue edits is currently much shorter than my other ones, only lasting until you visit the Pokémon Research Lab in the second town.

It also leans on the fan theory that Lucas/Dawn is the same person as Rei/Akari with references to the Nudity Reactions mod for Legends: Arceus.

 

 Story Description:

A very long time ago on Sinnoh, back when it was called Hisui, there was a certain person who saved the world from destructive spacetime rifts.

But this individual was quite extraordinary. For some reason, this savior was always... naked, and it was rumored they're not from the old region but rather fell from a rift in the sky without any clothing at all which could mean they came from a time where nudity isn't taboo.

 

Fast forward to today however, nudism as a lifestyle is still considered to be unusual in the modern region of Sinnoh.

But on the off-chance that this nudist came from our time, public nudity is legal in Sinnoh, but who would even dare to casually expose themselves in public?

Not to mention there are vintage photographs of the Hisuian Nudist in the history books that show their distinctive face well.

It would take a specific individual who happens to closely resemble that nudist's face to be quite possibly the one who saved Hisui.

 

That person happens to be you, according to your mother who is a fanatic of this prophecy.

She insists that you could be the very same person who saved the world long ago.

But of course, other people in your hometown have their doubts due to how utterly ridiculous that prophecy sounds.

How would that even be possible when there's no such thing as a time machine? Regardless, your mother insists that you'd be naked all the time whether you like it or not because she believes that somewhere in your naked adventure, you would find a way to travel back in time to become the Hisuian Nudist who saved the world.

 

This may be a long-winded story but it all amounts to nothing as the game's plot will still play out the same except you're forced to be naked.

It would take years before Arceus decides to warp you back in time, if you're the same person but even then, Arceus does not care if you're dressed or not, so your mother forbidding you to wear clothes to fulfil this "prophecy" is ultimately unnecessary...unless you think so otherwise as your headcanon.

Disclaimer: I have not finished Legends: Arceus so I don't know exactly how the ending plays out.

Thanks! I think this could work but I'll have to manually rename the sprites to match the original file names.

I think you did a fine good job on the custom sprites and I really like how you tried to stay true to the Pokemon's goofy early design style.

I'll look forward to your take of Flareon and Jolteon showing off their goods.

You could if you have the patience for it.

You download the decomp project of Emerald and just edit the script files with a text editor like Notepad++.
 

You can find these script files in: "pokeemerald\data\maps\"

Each map has its own folder with two files inside it: "map.json" and "script.inc".

The dialogue is usually found at the bottom half of "script.inc".

 

Some other dialogue may be found in:

"\data\scripts" or "\data\text" instead.

 

Each line of dialogue must be no longer than 40 characters or parts of the text will extend beyond the text box and won't be visible on screen.

Take note that the game's font isn't monospaced so you might have to type less than 40 or 35 characters for each line.

Use "\n" at the end of a first line of the paragraph as a line break. The next line of text will appear below instead.

If you want the game to scroll down the same paragraph with third or more lines, use "\l".

Otherwise, make a new paragraph with "\p" and the game will refresh the text box with the next paragraph.

 

If you want to test the dialogue in-game, you need to be familiar with using a terminal interface so you could build a ROM.

It's best to carefully read through the decomp project's installation guide about this:

Alternatively, I could test and fix it myself instead but I'm not focusing on editing Gen 3 games at the moment. But I am happy to take contributions in the meantime.

Bad news, I can't simply replace the asset files with your edited ones because the compiler complains about a picture section having too many bytes.

Good news, I was eventually able to fix it just barely by having to re-export all 89 of your sprite edits to shave off those bytes.

This process involves:

- Importing one of the original sprites from the decomp project to Aseprite

- Make a new palette from the sprite

- Rearrange the colour palette so it starts from white to black.

- Change Color Mode from Grayscale to Indexed, 

- View the sprite's Properties and change the Color Profile to None. This image will be the base for re-exporting edited sprites

- Then I import your edited sprite to Aseprite by dragging and dropping it

- Change that sprite's Color Mode from Indexed to RGB Color

- Copy and paste the edited sprite to the base image, the pasted sprite should have the correct colours for the Indexed image even when it came from an RGB image

- Export the sprite as .png, preferably to replace the existing image

- Rinse and repeat for the next 88 Pokemon sprites

 

As a result, an Eevee sprite for example has went from 671 bytes to 412 bytes.

In total, all of your edited sprites have been compressed from 67,133 KB to 47,187 KB.

 

However, the compression is still not enough and I had to rearrange "pics.asm" a bit to not get that issue of a section being too big.

It's a similar issue to when I had to rearrange "maps.asm" and "text.asm" in order to successfully build Bare Red/Yellow and Raw Crystal respectively.

 

Sad news, the compiler then complained about something else having too many bytes.

Great news, the decomp project has tutorials for removing unused and redundant coded features which fixed the issue regarding the "Battle Engine 3" section.

Not so much for the "Slot Machines" section, but it turns out that moving one of its "INCLUDED '<file>'" line to another section fixed this issue and I was able to build a ROM of Pokemon Red/Blue with the anatomically-corrected sprites!

 

However, because I rearranged "pics.asm" by moving Abra's sprites to another section, sprites for Abra have unfortunately become corrupted in-game.

For now, this had to be done in order for me to be able to successfully make a ROM. I assure you though that every other sprite still looks fine.

With that said, I barely just fitted in all the edited sprites into the game. If there's any more sprites to add, it's going to be very tricky.

Regardless, I still encourage you to finish all the Pokemon sprites that you can. (Not all of course, just ones that are applicable to have genitals.)

I might find a way to optimise the game to allow more edited sprites smoothly with no issues.

 

To help make my job easier, I'd appreciate if you could optimise your sprites the same way and have them named after the Pokemon themselves.

The front sprites just need to have their names all in lowercase. (e.g. "pikachu.png")

Back sprites must have their names with a "b" at the end. (e.g. "pikachub.png")

 

if you haven't already, I recommend you download the decomp projects and edit the included sprites from there.

This ensures that the sprites would have the exact correct colour palette with no unnecessary data like alpha channel that increases the byte size.

Then you make a new palette and rearrange it in this order:

I'll be uploading the ROM hack soon, just need to make a patch first. The hack will only affect the Pokemon sprites at the moment. 

I've been trying to figure this out all day and I'm afraid that merging it with my own edits might cause another exhausting byte issue again.

Also, what should be the name for the standalone hack? All I got is Lewdmon Red & Blue or Pokémon Natural Red & Blue.

Woah. I didn't even realize that file size might be an issue. Thank you for going through all of that to fix it. I'll keep all of that stuff in mind for the future.

I don't think Lewdmon is right, because most of them aren't really lewd. At worst some of them are erect, which just kind of happens sometimes with animals. I like the word Natural though. You could just try merging the two ideas into "Naturalmon" but I don't know how well that rolls off the tongue.

File size is definitely a possible issue with GB roms, since there's only so much space the cartridge (and by extension the rom itself) can fit. Heck, if I remember right, even the text edits for Bare Red and Yellow had issues with file size for a bit.

I'm assuming you probably won't get around to generation 5 for a bit because you're probably going to do these one gen at a time; gen 1gets focused and completed first, then move on to gen 2, then 3 and so on...
