I have this problem with the mod since the last update. I´m 100% sure that it´s the Wicked Whims Mod which causes the endless loading screen whenever I want to load a family. I´ve already removed all of my mods and without the WW Mod it´s working perfectly fine. I don´t know where the problem is, since everything worked well before the update, in combination with my other mods as well. Please help if you can, I really enjoy playing with the mod and the game is missing something without it! Also, I have MC Command Center but it worked fine together before as well. Thanks in advance

I´ve already tested only having the WW mod in and that´s why I´m so sure that it´s causing it because with it there´s the endless loading screen. And there´s no localthumbcache.package in my mod folder. I really don´t know what´s wrong!

localthumbcache.package is in your /Sims4 folder, not your mods folder.

you should ALWAYS delete it when you are taking out mods because it'll save some data.

You are one of the first ones saying that WW crashes your game. If it would, don't you think there'd be more posts about it?

So please, go and delete localthumbcache.package and then try again with only WW.

this is also happening on the latest version.

Actually, it's not. The game runs perfectly fine with the latest version.

There's a problem on your end.

Remove all your mods, delete the localthumbcache.package file in your Sims 4 folder and run the game Vanilla.

Are you still getting an endless loading screen? If you are, then try repairing your game.

If not, then you have a problem with one of your mods and you need to find the culprit and either update it or eliminate it.

If you're having a endless loading screen then the only conclusion at this point is that there's an issue with your computer.

Maybe try bumping down your game settings a little bit.

Have you tried playing without mods to see if the issue is still happening?

Are the drivers for your graphics card up to date?

At this point it could be anything.

I can tell you that everything's running fine under normal conditions.

Already tried that, as well to get 1 hour loading screen. last time it was only 10 minutes,

and i used  TS4 Mod Conflict detector to find some problems. and it didn't help since it somehow is making things worst.

Since your game loads fine without mods then it has to be a broken mod so you have to find it the hard way.

You'll have to find the broken mod using the 50/50 method.

Move half your mods to your desktop in a Temp folder first.

Delete the localthumbcache.pkg

Try to Load game and test.

If fixed you know it's in the first half you just removed so then you cut them in half again.

If not then it's in the other half you left installed.

Just don't make any new saves when removing and testing mods, just exit after testing.

Conflict Detector isn't reliable enough to be much use.

Remember to delete the localthumbcache every time you add, remove, or update mods or the game itself.

okay so far i managed to fix it by placing an older version of WW 153A. unfortunately both NisaK's WW. keeps spamming my dashboard with errors which is odd.

since before updating to the latest version everything was working fine.

Good thing i still backed up both my mods and saves. but unfortunately the latest version of the TS4 seems to hate Wicked Perversion, and Kinky whims for no reason.

since if i place the latest WW. and if im lucky i get to load the house hold the game freezes for a minute then both Nisa's mod Ww spams error messages like no tomorrow.

it Would've been really nice if the Author of WW. kept the old versions of his/her mod in an archives. since the new one's tend to have this kind of problems.

so user's like who are having this problems can revert back to a stable version. let alone would not need to install an unstable official update from EA.

Kinky whims

Not sure what this is but if it's part of the obsolete Kinky Pets or Wicked Pets or whatever it was called I'd remove it.

Especially if the file date is older than 2020-2021.

Don't  see how it's possible to even run WW 153a on game version of 1.77

The other problem is once you install WW 1.65 it changes the way the WW data is saved making it quite hard to revert back.

Unless you deleted both the WickedWhims in your saves folder and the settings in your Mods/WickedWhimsMod folder.

You should also delete the WickedPervs folder in your saves.

Most of us here have no problems with WW and the latest game version other than the game bugs that came with the patch.

Obviously some have problems because they did something, or didn't do something.

And many can't seem to follow directions when asking for help.

If you're getting spammed with these error messages, post your LastException file here and we can take a look to get a better idea of what the problem is.

Just use the paperclip to attach the file when you respond.

here are the files, also i'd like to point out that it seems that the recent sims 4 expansion pack and it's updates might be causing the Endless/Long loading screen.

as i tried it without mods. and noticed that the Loading times are The Same. this wasnt happening with the university update.

and the Loading times only last's atleast 10-20 minutes Tops. another issue i forgot to mention is that both the sims and Ui will not respond to commands

no matter how much you press it.

i might need to downgrade the sims 4. to the univeristy Expansion and WW to 153a. version  if the recent official updates is causing this. and it would really help if anyone knows where to get the 153.b version of WW. since WW 153a keeps saying i need it even though WW is working fine.

Delete kinkywhims.ts4script and any package files they've been obsolete for over a year.

Don't need Sims4CommuntyLibrary either.

All those errors are due to outdated mods like Wicked Whims.

If you can't get your game to load normally without any mods then putting mods back into a broken game won't help.

You need to get your game loading & working properly before you add any mods.

The only one I would try is MCCC alone but only because it has better error detection for finding problems.

But if your game is trashed or you have computer issues then it doesn't really matter anyway.

I'd delete the game and reinstall and start without mods to make sure the game itself is working.

Load time should be less than 5 minutes unless you have a bad HDD or something else going on.

Just did that and Reinstalled everything from scratch, and ran it on Vanilla mode first before Placing the mod files in it. and somehow it went smoothly with a few bumps

also did try to drop WW and WP as DD BD first as well as some required mods. for it. and it somehow worked load times were reduced to 10-16 minutes.

although there were some stutteres here and there, but that is due to the 4 mods making their default settings.

the Sim4Community Library that i have is the Latest version and is Required by DD to function properly.

this leaves one Culprit left though since i didn't add any of the Objects and Clothing files when i did this. and i have a bad feeling it's one of the files in those two. which is going to be a Pain to find if my hunch is right.

Wow you must have an old Core 2 laptop with 2GB memory, lol.

I'd also run defrag on your HDD at bed time.

You'd be better off dropping WW & Nisa's WP and just run DD for your sex mod as it's less demanding on resources.

Finding the other bad mods will be a pain with your slow load times.

Nope my pc can actually ran sim 4 fine with those 4, and it turns out the problems are in the two folders that i had mentioned. my guess is that it's the Objects for the WW.

which is causing this problem. since everything else is up to date except for the WW objects.
