so i figure before getting real account , and hate to use my sister account cuz she can really bitch sometimes , i love writing reports like this , if i put this on off topics it doesn't make any sense though because for all seriousness topic like this should be on general discussion so anyway. let's talk about Apple Vs Samsung.

All sudden apple is attacking Samsung and it felt like 90's again remember macintosh vs windows 95 era yeah one of those , so let me educated apple and so call supporters even me as a supporter i feel ashamed even allison used samsung and she shoved her phone up my face and say like.

Like seriously If i were tim cook instead being punk ass bitch trying to run over everybody with a giant middle finger , i would invent something or try to compete this is just low as you get for being dictator you cant just sue everybody the way you like , if you really want to blame Samsung first check out their factory first what do they build from what i understand samsung started off first as home appliances and hardware related like television ,kitchen and washing product before they add phone in their company.

 

even i being a mac fanboy ... i never see samsung cloned the product a real fan will know who rip off who .. for all honesty sake man apple is high or something , if that is not enough samsung company on other country also get sued .

Apple is about the douche baggiest company out there, right behind Bank of America and EA.

 

I have NEVER liked apple and I go back to the monochrome days where there was only DOS and a floppy was almost impossible to fill up......

 

What I find really funny is all the years that microsoft kicked in millions of dollars to keep apple afloat so it would fragment the OS market and keep others from making a serious run on Windows.

 

As to Samsung! F' Yea baby! I have loved their products and NEVER had a bad one ever! I love their MP3 players that interface directly with your computer, NOT needing some F'dup iCRAPtunes to even work the damn thing. I am not 2 years old, apple, I don't need my hands held to organize and manage my music collection!

 

Ok, I will stop there....as you can tell, I don't like apple, and unless something drastically changes, I will never like them. Why would I pay twice as much for a Mac or an iphone, that I can stomp into the ground with a Windows (or even Linux) machine or an Android?????

Apple does shit like claim they invented multi-touch a decade after it was already developed by others.

 

They are good at acquiring third party software and such, then making the world believe it was all Apple. Remember when they claimed widgets and gadgets on the desktop in Windows were stolen from Apple, even though these actually first appeared in Windows as created by Konfabulator. Lying sacks of shit, I tell you.

 

They are good at filing for patents and blocking innovation from others.

 

If you go back in a time a few years, their tech was crap when they were trying to use hardware exclusive to Apple. I have no idea why many artist and devs were using Apple back then on slow ass Apple tech. It was a freak Adobe accident. But, today, Apple hardware is just a PC running OSX, which is probably better for everybody. Maybe now Apple can finally handle rendering for 3d software and perhaps run a few games.

 

On the positive side, they have had a good eye for sexy. They understand that packaging is more important to most people than anything under the hood. Form over function. They also have been impressive in their marketing over the years. Very impressive. But I feel like I'm admiring the devil when I say that.

 

Oh, and I'm using my lovedoll's account, who I imagine is my sister! No, not really. Or maybe. Who knows? I might not even really have a lovedoll.

For one who has owned a variety of products from Apple, Windows, Samsung, and a few others, I honestly don't see what the hype is about for Mac anyways. Besides, I can't use my FLAC formatted music on Apple products, so I've gone back to using Third Party MP3 players. They go around acting like they invented the wheel, but in all honesty they are just a bunch of very good salespeople. Heck, why the hell does Steve Jobs get all the credit when it was Steve Wozniak that created the Apple computer.

 

I hope Apple loses big time to teach them a lesson.

That's the major thing with Apple; they're good at selling things. They can package dog shit and make it "hip and cool", and all the hipsters will flock to it and go "I LOVE my iDogShit!", then proclaim that Apple invented dog shit specifically for that product.

 

That's also the biggest problem; people seem to think that Apple invented things when they didn't. The iPod may have popularized MP3 players, but people seem to act like they invented the very concept of music on the go in data format. I wouldn't be surprised if people thought that Apple also invented voice recognition software for Siri. And I'd love to see a war between Apple and Nintendo fans, each claiming that their company invented touch screen controls.

 

I'll stick with REAL touch screen control systems, thank you very much, systems like the game.com from Tiger Electronics.

I have the Galaxy S3 and a friend of mine has the Iphone S4 side by side there is nothing on the S3 that looks to be taken from the Iphone, and the things apple sued over. are on pretty much all Android smartphones not just in Samsung. all the suit did was really show that Apple is scared of the S3 because it had a bigger launch then the 4S had last year.

you have to look at where this case was tried here in the US it was in silicon valley the birth place of Apple. i have no doubts that most of not all the being in the jury have Apple products and most likely support Apple no matter what so there will always be that thought what if the case was tried somewhere else. but im also not saying either company is innocent of copying each other or off any of the company all companies dont at to some degree.

Yeah, we all copy each other to some degree. It's how we learn to walk, talk, etc. It's also how we are created, for example DNA. Sampling, copying, mixing, remixing; is how we mostly evolve. Just look at memetics, too.

Thes on general topic usually when people talk about gadget matured audience didnt jump like a retard this is why i love people i get used to talk whenever i felt being a samsung fans doesnt get the hate.

To be honest, I looked at the court documentation with colleagues and we all agreed that it took the worst jury to find that verdict. There were so many flaws on Apple's evidence that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to actually figure out.

 

On that grounds, it wouldn't be within stretch for Samsung to call a mistrial...

Apple Wins Battle over Samsung

 

During his lifetime, late Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs revealed a great hostility towards the Android mobile operating system, saying he was “willing to bring on nuclear war”.

 

Apple’s management has belittled Google, the makers of Android, calling them “copy cats” who often stole Apple’s innovative designs.

 

When a jury at the federal district court in San Jose, California ordered Samsung Electronics to pay Apple US$1.44 billion (about 1.2 trillion Korean won) in damages for patent violations, Apple mocked Samsung, saying, “Stealing isn’t right.”

 

Accordingly, some now believe that based on its victory over Samsung, Apple will strengthen its attacks on the Android camp for patent violations, and this will lead to transformations in the so-called “Android ecosystem.”

 

Many interpret Apple’s global patent war against Samsung as a proxy war with Google. This is because it’s better for Apple to sue manufacturers selling smartphones using Google Android rather than directly suing Google itself, which distributes the Android operating system (OS) for free.

 

Samsung is the world’s No. 1 smartphone maker, accounting for 35% of smartphones sold worldwide in the second quarter of 2012, double Apple‘s market share of just 17%. Samsung made 44% of the Android smartphones sold over the same period.

 

Apple is expected to request an injunction banning the sale of the roughly 20 Samsung smartphone products ruled to have infringed on its patents.

 

If the court grants Apple’s request and orders a sales ban, Samsung’s market share will plummet. This is because while the affected products would not include the most recent smartphone models like the Galaxy S III, they would include many models sold in the United States, including the Galaxy SII smartphone.

 

The United States is also the world’s largest smartphone market, accounting for 16% of the global market.

 

American IT magazine PC World wrote, “Given that Samsung is the largest Android smartphone manufacturer, an injunction might move the market share numbers back in Apple’s favor, at least temporarily.”

 

It added, “Other companies will be forced to adopt new and less Apple-like designs. This could lead to greater innovation in the mobile phone industry... Some would say that Samsung has already started to ‘pivot’ its design. For example, the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note are visually distinct from Apple’s iPhones.”

 

On the other hand, there are also those who predict that the verdict will not bring great changes to the smart phone market.

 

An official from one electronics company said, “For Samsung, US$1 billion in damages is not a huge burden, and the company‘s got the speed to quickly put out alternative smart phones with new designs and software.”

 

This is to say, even if the court accepts Apple’s request for an injunction against Samsung’s existing models, the Korean electronics maker can maintain its market share by quickly replacing them with new products.

 

With Android and Apple accounting for over 85% of the smartphone market, consumers have few options beyond those two large companies.

 

No other operating system besides iOS and Android reached 5% of market share in the second quarter. Even Nokia, which as early as the third quarter of 2010 was the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer, enjoyed a market share of just 4.4% in the second quarter.

 

Ryu Han-seok, director of the Technology Culture Institute, said, “The lawsuit might have given Apple a bit of profit and pride, but the Android side may gain as much as it lost. With hostility for Apple growing on the part of Android companies and users, the verdict could become an opportunity for the scattered Android camp to band together.”
