I open it with Photoshop and "Intel Texture Works", a dds plugin for PS

 

Yeah I told you that the white lace bikini makes gives weird results. There are still parts of the mesh that can't be made transparent, so it still produces shadows and has backfacing poligons.

It is only a small trade for the ones who didnt get the mermaid suit.

 

I myself want that new Hitomi suit, but was very unlucky... 25000 Vstones and nothing...

 

Furthermore, that new Hitomi suit doenst have any alpha channel, so no revealing mod for this as well.

Now I got another prob. Had a windows update and now the game doesn´t start anymore... yay those updates, how I hate them.

What do you extract the textures with? Ninjaripper? This doesn´t work for me somehow, always gives me some 32 Bit error.

I used Resorep for the textures
Ninjaripper only for the 3D meshes and to see where a whole mesh is underneath. But for Ninjaripper you need to select doavv.exe and set it to directx 11 manuelly. Also need to start the game first, because it cant work without the dmm launcher.

Is there a manual way to extract textures with resorep? After latest windows update i can´t start jar files anymore, but i am able inject modded textures manually into doaxvv.

Nvm, I managed to extract them manual. Found the outfits textures, but many are hard to mod, ye^^. No transparency or delete of the outfits texture possible mostly, you can paint something on it though.

How to fix this problem when choosing DOAXVV.exe?

First, setup the rights of your whole doaxvv folder AND of your whole resorep folder and give any user access in all ways. Basically just right click the folder, go to properties and setup the approval or security tab so that anyone has access in any way.

 

If it still doesn´t work, do the manual mode. It works without any issues(also if you aren´t able to load jar files anymore because windows 10 sucks) but requires some time always to set it up if you want to extract somehting.

With this method you never have to start resorep anymore and manage stupid errors. Just change save texture, mod creator mode and log to true if you want to extract textures in a game before starting it and set them back to false if you are done.

 

For texture injection you just have to put the modded textures in the "Modded" folder from Resorep then. Nothing else, just start the game then.

I was able to load the textures for the white bikini, but the nipples seem to be missing. Did I screw up somewhere?

Delete all files in your modded folder(make a back up of them somewhere else if needed) and only put in the white lace bikini dds file again(from the original source, better download it again to be safe.

No luck after trying that I'm afraid. I even decided to go with the manual method and got the same result.

Well, that was just what I did since I had the same issue once. Just deleted my whole modded folder, downloaded white lace bikini dds again and put it in modded folder. Then started the game and nipples where back.

 

I caused this problem with putting in modded textures from extracting together with white lace dds in the same folder.

 

So basically if you just wipe your modded folder, download white lace again and put ONLY this dds into your modded folder, it should work again.

 

 

Else I don´t know.

 

 

Perhaps try delete modded folder, then start game and check if the white lace is back to original status, then quit game, download white lace dds again and put in modded folder. Now start the game again. Could also work, but not sure.

it doesnt seem to load interface elements, but I haven't tried starting it from the beginning. Could be worth a try, but there is probably only a small amout of text that is is pictures

(My thought was that those textures with this white string only in it could be for it. But there are many of them and I deleted them all with transparent background... nothing changed really. To get it, you have to play some while and pull with Gatcha or tickets or you even get it from some story matches. It´s only an R suit if I remember correct and optainable easily.

 

Wierd Shadows are still included, just change position/area/pose or spot or turn camera to get rid of them for some time.

Like I said several times before, you can't add transparency where there is non!

We can only edit the textures, but not the shaders! Meaning if in the shader the material has a transparent path activated you can edit that texture to make it all transparent, but if there is no option for that part available it will never work!.

 

The Strings and the Lace  parts have different shaders! Thats why it cant be done! Once and for all!

 

We can only hope for new suits to come where it is possible.

Believe me when I say I ripped all "N" and "R" suits, plus some SSR and SR ones, as 3D models and loaded them into blender to look if there is a full body mesh underneath, so see if it is even worth trying to remove the textures. And when I found one where the chest hadn't holes in it, I looked if the textures had any alpha channels to work with.

The best option was the Lace Bikini, but it can't be changed more than that!

Nah! A group of men developing a game where girls jump and wiggle around in almost no clothes (for censor and target group resons) and with a system specialized in breast movement. I think they want to see these wonderfull boobs free of all restraints as we do

But yeah, they can't just make it too easy, otherwise the public would go crazy on them for releasing a game to easy to be modified into rated "M".

Even if they wanted to do a 18+ game, they could never use the original doa franchise, since the copyright holders, would never allow to get the doa name tainted by porn. They had to create new girls and names. But people want figures they now and love and have a connection with, like the girls of doa they defeated so many enemies with by dashing buttons. A simple porn game with random girls wouldn't just affect as much as a DOA girls porn game.

 

Also if they release a suit that can be modded to reveal enough and make another event out of it, probably a lot of people would spend real money on it to get THAT suit. So it would be a win for them. They can enjoy their own creation and make money out of it when other people try to enjoy that special suit as well.

 

In japan you can marry your virtual girlfriend in your gameboy! So people who create a game with beautifull girls strolling on the beach half naked... well, they want to see their grilfriends naked some times too
