I can't check Nyotengu the body color, I don't have tools to watch DDS(BC7_UNORM_SRGB). I watch this picture by SageThumbs and NinjaRipper.

If you can remove the skirt from this suite, you can hide nearly everything!
I used Ninja-Ripper to export it and the body mesh underneath the mermaid suite is nearly perfect!

At least the lace texture can easily be remove cause the dds file has an alpha channel!

The metal work could possible not be removed cause often these texture maps have no alpha channel and if you save them as one with alpha channel, the game wont recognize is and crashes (at least that is what happened with TERA texture mods)

 

So what do I need to modifiy the textures in this game?

well, you just edit the base skin texture to one with nipples and its all good

Here is my two cents about DOAXVV mods:

 

1. You can't remove mesh, you can only swap textures

 

2. To hide texture, you have to replace original texture with transparent one.

 

3. I think you can only make transparent working with the original transparent ones. 

 

So I think this is all Tantrave can do for ShowStopper costume.

So I got Reorep to work and I made some parts of the mermaid suit transparent
Sadly this is the only suit right now where I can hide full parts. I tried different bikinis where the underlying mesh is still complete but I can't add transparency where non is supposed to be. Wanted to do it for the white lace bikini but there I can only hide the cloth directly on the breasts, the straps are still visible, which results in weird looking bikinis.

So for now only the ones the ones who were lucky enough to get the mermaid swimsuit from the event can enjoy this.

 

I also added nipples to the base texture. At the moment I edited it for Kasumi, Marie-Rose, Honoka, Kokoro, Nyotengu, Ayane and Misaki (which seems to use Kasumis texture, because I didn't edited it, but it got nipples after I changed Kasumi)

For the others I haven't found a player with that suit so I couldn't check how it would look.

Open Resorep

Add DOA_VV.exe (x64)

Choose the extracted folder to pick the edited textures

Run the game - Done

I made some more edits to this suit

It now has a clean tan map. This means if you tan the girl in this mermaid suit you getting tanned everywhere! No tanlines!

If you want tanlines, use all the other bikinis! This one now just makes the girl brown sugar everywhere.

(Honoka, Kasumi and Marie-Rose have different UV maps for the tanlines. I dont know if every girl has her own tanline map, but since these three girls have different body meshes, the different uv maps are exspected, but all other girls (execpt for Luna) have the same body mesh)

 Yeah I need someone with that suit who gave it to Hitomi, Momiji and Helena (and maybe Luna but I am not a fan of her... too small with too big hands)
