Dawnguard Bugs/fixes

After having Serana cured of her Vampirism' date=' and meeting back up with her at the Dawnguard fort (I sided with the Dawnguard on this playthru), Serana wouldn't join back up with me as a follower. Every time I initiated a conversation with her, she'd just answer me with the vanilla, "Need something" type responses. I couldn't even ask her for her blood for my arrows.

after trying to successfully fire her and rehire her a few times, i find that she could be rehired if you fire her while inside the castle volkihar main hall. perhaps the same thing will work if you tell her to get cured while inside for dawnguard?

also she cant give you blood arrows anymore after she has been cured (shes no longer a vamp so her blood is clean like yours now) i found to fix her at liest in my case i left dawnguard castle did a side mission dungeon came back and then talked to her and i regained the ability to hire her again

I have a bug/glitch I am a vampire lord I have killed Harkon and am on the kill all dawngaurd leaders but Isran will NOT die! Using setessential 0 does nothing disable/enable does nothing. Going to try using the everyone is killable mod to see if that will kill this idiot so that I can move onto the next quest.

 

Edit* Well I fixed it with the everyone's killable mod but keep a copy of your ini file so that you can change back the file to the way it was before you killed him. Otherwise everyone will be killable and it's hard to feed on followers if they die everytime. You can also go into the file and change what was changed back to the way it was.

I found 2 more bugs & found a fix for them.

 

When playing through the Dawnguard quest line & when ever you talk to Serana "AVOID" any dialog pertaining to a cure for Vampireism or she will tell you to stop asking her, thus breaking her from ever being cured. BUT!!! If you have all ready past the point of no return, I found another fix just type this----> startquest DLC1seranacureselfquest <----into your console command & hit enter & she will tell you she needs to do this on her own. to meet up with her again go to Fort DawnGuard & wait four(4) game days & she will come into the fort with a new set of eyes & is cured from Vampireism, but unfortunatly old habits are hard to break because she still uses necromancy magic & still wears her hood out side, oh well!!! LOL.

 

& the second bug I found is when you have defeated all the keepers in the soul cairn, you & Serana go to meet up with Valerica, Serana's mother she tells you to follow her to retrieve the Elder Scroll, BUT she just stands there & does nothing. well the only way I found to complete the quest was to go & defeat Durnehviir & then go to where the chest is that holds the elder scroll, go to your console command & click on the chest & type---> Disable <---& hit enter that will delete the chest & allow you to take the elder scroll, to complete the quest.

 

I hope this helps anyone having these issues.

I started Dawnguard few days ago, and i've found a really disturbing bug. Now, instead of having eyes my character's got twin blue lighthouse... Still can't find a way to solve it, I'm desperate, really...

To bring back the “Come with me” dialogue after dismissing Serana' date=' enter the code sqv DLC1NPCMentalModel in the console. You are given a long list of information. Scroll down the list using the up and down arrows, and make sure that the following codes: CanFollow_var = True / IsFollowing_var = False / IsWaiting_var = True / TurnOffComeWithMe_var = False / LockedIn_var = False are in order by looking at the false/true. .i.e if LockedIn_var was set to true then you need to put it to false. To do this, enter the following command: setpqv DLC1NPCMentalModel LockedIn_var False. Once you do this you should be able to recruit Serana to be your follower again.

This is not related to Dawnguard. It's a vanilla Skyrim bug, caused by Detect Life spells and shouts.

 

1.

Open console and type:

player.addspell 000f71d1
player.removespell 000f71d1

 

2. Or you can type

sexchange

twice.

I went the dawnguard way for a change and ran into 2 bugs during but they are way easier to fix then the ones on the vampire side.

 

After doing a few quest Isran will ask you to locate 2 old members the female one had no problems but the male one I think his name his gundur or something like that was buggy.

 

When I located him he was searching for some bear/bears couldn't talk to him even after the bears were dead as he kept searching for them with weapon out I tried using a calm spell like vampire seduction but the Isran needs your help line would pop up and disappear and he says something like watch out there is a killer bear close by. I thought maybe he needed to kill them to get it to advance so I resurrected them and hide and watched them kick his ass so I ended up having to kill them. Then I remembered the one console command *stopcombat* so I went into the console clicked him and typed it in and boom he put his stupid weapon away finally and I was able to get him to go to the fort.

 

The 2nd one was with Serana after doing so many quests she appears at the fort and tells you about the secret entrance into the vampire castle but everytime you talked to her to go and use the I'm ready lets go to the secret entrance she would say I don't just take anyone with me to the secret entrance lose the interloper and we will go.

 

I tried telling my followers to wait that was a no go tried dismissing them that was also a no go then I looked at playerfollowercount and it read 3 so I entered setplayerfollowercount to 0 and boom she now said lets go.

Hi I have troubble starting dawnguard recruiting Gunmar and Sorine Jurard. When i do this quest both markers show up in ford dawnguard

I cleared the cave before starting the recruitment.

I get turned into a vampire lord by Harkon then he tells me to talk to NPC to start the chalice quest. I walk into the room and EVERY vampire there gangraeps me. What is going on?

Does anyone know the console command to get the "Awakening" quest started? I have checked out this page--->  http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Awakening But all it gives me is the ID,

I am unsure how to set it up in the console I would type.. setstage dlc1vq01 1 or 2 or 3 or 4....etc & it would do nothing

 

Please help!!!

 

OK here's my Fix I was doing it right but I missed the proper level.

 

Type: setstage DLC1VQ01 10   & hit enter & the Quest "Awakening" will start

ran into some glitchs, when entering the castle courtyard to find serana's mother, at first the buildings appear then they disappear, also I got the shout for the dragon durnehvir but I cant summon him, I shout at the sky and at the ground but he doesnt showm plz help
