VirginMarie Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I've got a transparent mesh. Tattoos underneath swtich from visible to not visible depending on angle of camera. The result is tattoo flicker. Using NifSkope, in NiAlphaProperties, I've tried various changes to Flags and Threshold. Makes no difference. Anybody know the cause and how to tweak something in NifSkope or Outfit Studio?
myuhinny Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Are there more then one layer to the tattoo? If so then that would be the cause as you have two layers on top of each other they will flicker as one layer pops through the other layer.
Lokikun Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I also had this problem with the tattoo flickering when my PC wears the transparent rubber suit. When I approach the camera really close to the PC it shows rendering under the character skin layer. If someone knows/has a solution for this I would like to know. (In my case it happened with a full body tattoo edit I made to test with slavetats. The tattoo had 1 layer)
VirginMarie Posted August 20, 2017 Author Posted August 20, 2017 This is the only thing I found with google. Solution there does not work for my item. Its new for my mod and would like to fix if possible. Occurs for any SlaveTat tattoo, or ones put on with racemenu.

Several layers with alpha in the Skyrim are garbage and does not work properly. Depends on distance and angle. You can take a look here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51505/?
