Estrus Chaurus Spider Addon not working.

No matter what I do that golden aura signaling your character has the spider eggs never appears. Also the tentacle spit attack doesn't work for me. So I have had to use defeat to get the spiders to interact with my character.

Estrus for Skyrim V1.20+ (Must be installed but the mod does not have to be activated) <----  especially do you have this? without it you dont get any animations as estrus chaurus+ dosent contain animations itself. You can delete its esp if you dont want the mod, but you need its animation files.

 

Give us a loadorder that way we could have seen if you have the requirements without having to ask.

If the tentacle spit attack dosent work its very likely you dont have estrus for skyrim installed, because as said without it you dont have the animation files required.

Spider spit attacks can trigger tentacle attacks - the chance of attack is configurable via the ES MCM(disabled by default as its unimmersive)

 

Also bear in mind that mods that change the spiders poison will mess up Estrus spider like this:

Mod is not compatible with Arachnophobia, since both mods edit spider poison spit spell, you'll need to place ES after Arachnophobia or remove spider poison spit edit from Arachnophobia plugin or disable ES spit attack and place Arachnophobia higher in load order

Hi, I think I ran into same problem with NightHawk112353.

 

So my Estrus Chaurus works perfectly fine with Chaurus spits. The animation/pregnancy/birth all of it.

 

However, even though I installed Spider-Addon but it doesn't seem to work.

I've waited ~5 minutes in game just to make sure MCM registers the mod/addons but I don't see Spider-Addon for EC+.

 

I've tested with vanilla frostbite spiders only.

I have all the required mods in correct load order (installed with MO and ran LOOT).

 

I have

NetImmsersive v3-4,

Racemenu v3-4,

Estrus for Skyrim V1.99,

EC+ v4.33

and EC spider addon v4.32.

 

What am I doing wrong?

Did you try save & reload? Some mods require that to work properly and it also helps to register MCMs sometimes (+ wait a bit again), not entirely sure if the spider addon is one of them but worth a try.

Aside from that, the officially supported version of estrus is 1.20, you have 1.99. I never tried if the addons would still work with newer versions of Estrus, but there is a pretty good chance they don't... make sure you use a new game or a save before installing Estrus the fist time at least for testing, if it works there you can try to get it working with your current save using save game cleaners to remove all estrus scripts after uninstalling and before installing the older version.

if the MCM (it lists as Estrus Spider+ in the MCM listings) is not showing you cannot turn on the spit attacks.  things you can do to try to get the MCM to register:

   1 make a hard save and load that save (as Nazzzgul666 said)

   2 open the MCM listings and actually open a  MCM from another mod and then back out to game and wait a few minutes

   3 get the MCM kickstarter mod (its on nexus) and try it

   4 use the console command (google will find that one...i don't remember it offhand)

 

options 1 or 2 have always worked for me so i cannot be of more help with kickstarting MCMs.

 

and i can confirm that EC+ and ES+ do require a hard save and load to start properly.

What Nazzzgul666 said - This is what I'd fix first if I were you.  I believe 130 also works, but beyond that unlikely.

Since downgrading scripted mods is nothing i'd do midgame, actually i'd try valcons hints first^^ Much less likely to break your save.

This is true - however, I'd get 120/130 and start a new game to see.  Options 3 and 4 on Valcon's post are essentially the same thing - the kickstarter mod just initiates the console command Valcon is talking about - if the mod doesn't work, the console command won't and vice versa.

 

Could use some additional info such as mod manager used for install!

If regardless which mcm is not showing after you enabled the mod switch cells (go through a loading screen) go inside a house and out again or similar and save and reload the game. Happens on regular basis to me that mcm is not updating until I did said procedure regardless if I waited.

If that does not help I dont know how dependend estrus spider is in terms of the actual estrus chaurus version since estrus chaurus just got a update and estrus spider didnt. I could imagine if spider is build on the chaurus version that it needs a update, but thats just a assumption as I dont know the details about those mods. If the mcm continues to not show you may should ask in that mod topic if other have a similar issue.

 

You also did not have the same issue as nighthawk his description looks like he failed allready at installing the mod and its requirments since he didnt say anything about a missing mcm. (just a note)

Thanks for the help!

I did as Nazzzgul and Valcon said and it worked.

I just waited ~3 min in game and did save&reload and the MCM registered the addon.

I've tested with a vanilla spider and it works perfectly fine.

 

But I have noticed that even after you are "infected" you still can be triggered by EC+ again. Which I didn't know about.

Well I'd have to start dodging all those spits well.

I'm having this same problem, I have the lastest version of this mod v4.342.5, I have Estrus Chaurus 4.36, Estrus for Skyrim v2.40

I have FNIS 7.4.5, XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended v3.91, RaceMenu 3.4.5, NIO 3.4.4

 

I can't turn on the Pregnancy Enable button in this mod, I have tried multiple times. I have no problem with the Estrus Chaurus, the only issue is that in the version check the XPMSE 0.0.0.0 is not checked OK but it is the same in the chaurus mod all others are good.

 

Is there a command console method to turn this option on?

Then why don't you ask in the EC support thread? That is what it is for.

and you know that RaceMenu 3.4.5 has  NIO 3.4.4 already included?
