Had a good free day today. Along with a lot of work on Potema Chronicles I took the time to make a completely original character inspired by nobody but myself :dodgy: .

Just a question, sorry for offtop but i see a lot of you use facial expressions on the characters, is this only achievable with mfg console/ece or is there some kind of mod where you get predefined expressions?

SO I've had this character for awhile and I'll tell you guys some of the mods about half of them I don't remember where to get them...so you may have to find them yourself...or some of the stuff I've been using but have totally forgot what it was or where I got it.

Kijiko Hair on nexus

Enhanced Character Edit on nexus

I think I used SG renewal for the tintmasks for the eyeliner if I remember right

I used zzjay's Women of Skyrim head normal map

The eye mod was from this massive pack I got here at loverslab it had like 300-700 eyes in it If I'm correct same with the eyebrows it came with the eyepack.

I used Fitness body for he body normal map I used "lesser abs"

I also Used texture Blender by caliente a lot for pubic hair and nipple darkener I don't like the original Nipples on mature skin texture

I will attach the pubic hair texture that I used...

the outfit is raging moon and theres a Bodyslide 2 conversion of it.

my body is also a custom one created in bodyslide 2

again I honestly can't remember where I got 80% of these mods they are somewhere in my huge download folder and in my rare skyrim mod place where I keep mods you literally just can't get anymore

you will need calientes texture blender from nexus to use the pubic hair file...

I just did a few Skyrim install because I also re installed Windows 7. Which means the unnecessary mods are gone and the character textures that aren't supposed to be there are gone!

I don't really like CBBE based things at all but I'm considering messing around with Project C.I.T.R.U.S because of the high poly count, it should be fun. It's a good thing I have Custom Races installed.

What made the most drastic difference for me overall was the SG hair and textures. Everything before that felt like it was still under par, especially hair. Before that, I still had her head completely shaved. Good hairstyles can really have a huge impact, in-game and real life.

Studying the human face for drawing/art can really help when you're playing with sliders. A lot of people pick the biggest eyes or the smallest nose and think that automatically makes it look 'best'.

Throw in the really awesome showracemenu addon sliders and it really helped give my character personailty. (specifically eyelid close, lips open)

I don't know if my character's face actually stands out from others that use SG, but I don't mind too much. I'm really happy with it.

I don't really think that could be done very well. No matter how good the body is made to look you still have an extremely cat-like face, unless of course you're into that. You might be able to get away with it using the "Ohmes-Raht" race.

If you don't use Ohmes-Raht, there aren't many options left for you. I use CoverKhajits in conjunction with Better Khajiit - Less furry Khajiit in my game. I use Race Menu instead of ECE, so there's not much I can do with altering the overall map of the faces. The best I've managed is to make the nose narrower and shorter, rearrange the eyes and make them more human-like, etc... The results were more domestic cat-like than jungle cat but still distinctly cat. I'll try to upload some screenies later if you're interested.

I was tinkering a little yesterday. I installed CoverKhaiits and a UNP Khajiit texture. I noticed that some of the Apachii hairs still work with this race and several from the Eyes of Beauty mod. The Better Hand Mesh and Fem Feet works fine with this as well.

ECE did allow some sliders to work for the Khajiit race as well, although not all of them (especially the head). But I would imagine this is where ECE's vertices editor should come into play.

I might keep tinkering with it and trying a few other textures and so on.

The shots were taken just with a newly made khajit after a little tinkering in RaceMenu. All I'm using for khajits are:

CoverKhajits

Better Khajiit - Less furry Khajiit

CBBE

ApachiiSkyHair (in this case Khajit style 02, I believe)

I also have The Eyes of Beauty with the khajit styles included, but the eyes I'm using on this character are actually vanilla Skyrim models.

She doesn't look too bad... for a cat person. Whether you'd prefer that to someone like this is a matter of personal preference.

I started a new Mod Organizer profile today just to try out the Demonica body. And I must say it is freakin' nice. Extremely well-made. Even straight out of the box it makes a very attractive character.

And after a little (as that's all you actually can do) tweaking in the newest Race Menu she looks a little better yet.

There is a downside, though, and that's a lack of support and a lack of head morphs during customization (you can't do as much with it as you can a vanilla head, although the Krista head is definitely superior in vertices count).
