Ok, I must say this looks pretty interesting. Graphically looks fantastic, animations are awesome. Now we wait and see hows the gameplay :)

Don't think He knows the one posting it here i been following adeptussteve for a while i told him i posted here and that's all i have no clue who started this thread.

 

But i think your wrong about adeptussteve they just started out and are working hard on the game and they have experience in making games.

Well, it does kind of seem that way, doesn't it. Except it really isn't the case. It's probably just one of the patreons genuinely sharing their interest.

But I mean, even had it been the creator posting this, stealing? Come on. Crowd funding maybe flawed, but a lot of decent folks use it to earn their bread.

Hey, Steve here, the actual creator of Wild Life.

I see its about time I introduce myself personally here to stop these threads from escalating into unwanted territory.

First of all, I dont know who created this thread, but chances are high that it was an eager fan of the project looking to express his/her interest and appreciation. If the thread is duplicated, then moderation could just delete this one and refer to the existing thread. So I dont see a problem here.

 

Secondly I would like to know what exactly makes you assume this is a patreon scam? Im 100% serious about this project and its goals. And if people would just do a tiny bit of research on my activity, or the craft that goes into this type of game and level of quality in general, they could see that and wouldnt make such dangerous assumptions. So please take that into consideration.

 

After all I am a real person and this is a real project that I am fully dedicated to (I gave up my job as lead character rigger to pursue this) and I want to show you guys that by being as transparent as possible. So if you have any question at all about this please dont hesitate to ask me and Ill be happy to answer it.

 

And with that I would invite you to move any further comments or questions to the existing thread so moderation can take care of this one if its reduntant.

So i have taken a crack at your demo... The game feel really slow turning takes forever and one time i manage to get stuck in a forward direction couldnt turn but could side step.   

 

the flying felt really good but when you are flying i notice that she kept flapping her arms around.. shouldnt it be flap flap flap and then idle and then flap flap again.  

 

the sex animation are really good except for the camera felt like you could have achieve a far better effect if you had multiple camera location to use rather then trying to reuse the same character camera.  

 

Ive notice strange animation with clothes on the gold ring on the chest need to be more solid like rather then a breast that can bend metal at will... 

 

Your breast physic is.....godlike...i mean even team ninja from DOA cant hold a candle and the clothes vs breast and body are spot on like they look and feel like an outer layer clothing which is a HUGGGGEEEEEE not many developer can do this right.  Btw the animation when crouching and crawling the animation for the clothes are not following gravity... unless if this was intented.  

 

There only one suggestion that i see changing that i can see is to allow use a some kind of landing press such as once you get low enough press a button to land...basically to do a wind-up flap backward and jump to land-ish animation.  

 

Anyhow this is pretty much a beautiful game and the best first demo ever to not have many bugs.  

 

Do you have a timeline or list of things you are going to add and make do and what style of game is this going to become ? 

 

Ill be on the look out for your works.

Thanks dude, aweomse feedback. Your comment on the breast physics made me high to the sky proud dawg.

For the flying: if you dont have anything pressed she'll glide and become gradually slower (unless you fly at a down angle). If you hit W you flap to accelerate again, then release W to glide again, etc. etc.  To land you need to fly at a slower speed around 5-10 meters above ground and then hold S. She will do a breaking animation and descend gently to the ground.

Yeah we will have some sort of public list where you guys can follow the general progress of the games development.

Flight mode is easily your biggest innovation and I'd love to see you do more with it, or expand into other unique movement systems like mermaid/swimming and quadruped/running... Having a dolphin-like form to swim with, or a cheetah-like form that can burst sprint across the terrain would be pretty epic... That said, there's nothing to really explore yet, which is a shame.

 

Also the flight would benefit from a freelook button, something that would let you look around without making control inputs.

 

The adult content doesn't really show much innovation from what I can see though, and it's unnecessarily censored (making extra content for patrons is fine in my book, but gimping fundamental content in an adult game to drive people to Patreon is pretty off-putting for me). Anyway what I see so far is pretty standard, from the big "Press E to Interact" prompt followed by the menu-driven posed animation with speed control slider... It's not really selling me on the concept the way simply flying over the desert does. So my suggestions would be:

 

1) Ditch the "Press E" prompt... It's so common in these adult games, or really every RPG style game that you should be able to take it for granted. We know how to interact with things.

2) Ditch the menu as soon as you can (I get that you probably need it for testing still, but then consider limiting it to the test environment). Look at what CE0 is doing for Skyrim, it's much more immersive... Link different animations under parent animations that make sense, until you have a web of animations that the player can progress into. Once that's working maybe start looking at your transitions, because that's how you maintain the immersion.

3) Contextualise the 'opening' animation to a scene. Is the player crawling on all fours?  (Start with blowjobs/worship). Are they standing? (Start with kissing/fondling). Are they laying prone or stunned? (Start as victim). Are they the combat victor? (Start as aggressor).... You could do all kinds of stuff based on different character's Wild forms, etc.

 

My biggest problem though is the size of the download. There's clearly a dire need for optimisation here, because it's bigger than many feature-complete games and probably already 5x larger than the amount of content in it can really sustain. You've got two character models with two sex animations and single, small 'oasis' environment, so just compared to what other devs in this niche have to offer (also largely unopitimised) this should be a 300mb-500mb download at the most... The fact that it's already 2.5gb is troubling.

That looks just amazing. I'm particularly impressed by the flight system you've made. I'm hoping you can put the same level of attention into the other modes of transportation. :)

As for the download size, yeah you are right, its a lot larger than what it shows. In the future releases we will do more and more optimization, so im confident itll gradually become more reasonable.

Of all the different thread corpses about Wild Life in this forum, this one seems to be the most legit (the game's creator, AdeptusSteve, replied here). So I'm going to necro it.

 

Honestly people, give it a try! An intriguing setting, fluent animations with lot of attention to detail, and one of the best cum effects I've ever seen. If you have played an early version 2-3 years ago, the game has come a long way since then. The free version on Patreon is censored, but if you like it, consider to pledge.
