dollchan Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Recently while browsing pixiv I've stumbled upon something like this. https://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=63032490 http://imgur.com/a/F20lw (reupload if you don;t have pixiv account) Bondage machine like this could for example allow faster travel, make attack more effective or make you someones pet. I'm not a modder nor programmer so doing something like this is not for me, but maybe someone will find this concept interesting.
Sarge Misfit Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Hell, lock your follower in it, add some saddlebags and you have a "pack mule" for all your gear.
Farmthat Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 This is absolutely relevant to my interests. I have plans to make something similar. Perhaps not mechanized-looking, but the biggest problem of course, is the animation required for this to work. The good thing is that the animation for crawling on all fours already exists. The problem is that it's hands and knees rather than elbows and knees. Also, that the legs aren't bound with the feet up high, calves to thighs. But I have ideas to get around these issues.

Preview for a new game or honey select?

Maybe take a look at Amputator Framework for animations and how the creator did it?
Farmthat Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Hmm. Yeah, I'll investigate that. Not my cup of tea, I prefer bondage, but the principle is the same.
Sarge Misfit Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Yep, not mine either, but SlaveRun requires it. If the animations and scripts show a way to do it, then it would only be a matter of dealing with the skeleton, wouldn't it?

Make it so that the arms and legs you see in that bit are part of it rather than having to worry about the actual characters body, which in effect chopping the real ones off so they are not seen? Give it a Dwemer style re-texture so it looks more like their spider/centurions and it would not look too out of place in skyrim, and in the institute it would not look out of place either for Fallout 4.

Yes, it would be a whole-body replacer. The forearms/hands would be manually positioned in 3ds max and then controlled by the upper arm bones. Same for the legs and feet. I do like the lore aspect of making it Dwemer. But my first attempt will likely be in line with my mod's theme of rubber/latex, though, if I get a proof of concept working, adding mechanical accessories to the suit is purely cosmetic. I like the idea that it's unclear who is driving, in a mech suit. Is the woman a pilot or passenger?

I would say it depends, though both would work, passenger when her master wishes or pilot when he wants. Or if it wants, it could well be some sort of automaton similar to the spiders/centurions set to do specific things, or even a deadra with odd appearance in which case it may well not be too bothered as to where it is going as long as the sex side is there, Deadra as from what I am aware can take pretty much any shape they want to. Though the getting it working then worry about textures works quite well, how pretty it is dose not really matter when trying to get the damn thing to work.
darkevilhum Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Tried this once (animation). Struggled, simply because I didn't have a great base to work from. If anyone could get a hold of the project files for an anatomically correct looking all fours movement animation, I could do the rest. But as it is, you'd have to make the animation from scratch and because of the weird way the character ends up moving, you have to mess around a lot with IK and FK key frames which becomes very tedious for a movement anim. On a side note, what might be good motivation is if an artist put together some models/gear/devices for such an animation
