blueblue
First time trying sexout, crashes at before the intro screen Probably oodles of problems. Unable to get fmm to work, so I can't show a load order. Can anyone guess the problem with fmm? Link to comment
blueblue
Here's what the crashdump says System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Fomm.PackageManager.ModInstallLog.InstallLog.InitMods() at Fomm.PackageManager.ModInstallLog.InstallLog.Load() at Fomm.PackageManager.ModInstallLog.InstallLog..ctor() at Fomm.Program.Main(String[] args) Link to comment
prideslayer
When do you get that? Adding a package? Just starting FOMM up? Launching? Gonna need some details, brony. Link to comment
blueblue
I turn on FOMM, click new vegas, and ok, then it says: something bad happened yadda yadda yadda see crash dump. And that is what it says in the crash dump. Link to comment
prideslayer
You don't have NMM installed as well by chance? Link to comment
blueblue
Yes I do, is that the problem? Link to comment
prideslayer
Yes. NMM corrupts the FOMM installation XML files. Somewhere you'll have an FOMM/NMM info directory, usually c:\games\FalloutNV. You will find an "Install Info" directory there with a file called installlog.xml and a bunch of backups. Delete the file and rename the most recent backup (.bak) to just installlog.xml and try FOMM again. If that doesn't work, delete that one, and try the .bak1 file. Repeat until FOMM works again. If it doesn't (or never did), delete all those files and start over, and never use NMM to manage FalloutNV again. Link to comment
Chase Roxand
Call me crazy, but I just use NMM for FNV. :\ Link to comment
zippy57
I used NMM for FNV for a while. It was much more convenient for various reasons. But now NMM has apparently broken itself and even a completely clean install crashes on startup. I don't use NMM any more. Link to comment
blueblue
should I uninstall NMM? Link to comment
prideslayer
You can still use it for skyrim, oblivion, fo3, whatever. Hell even FONV if you want. You can't use it and FOMM together for the same game though, and I make no promises that my fomod will work (now or in the future) with NMM. Link to comment
blueblue
Okay thanks, now FOMM works. The game still crashes immediatly after the screen that says Havok and all the copyright info. zippy57
Pick SexoutSS or SexoutSS_C. Don't run both. Mantis07Reflex - Realism.esp Mantis07Reflex.esp VegasChokers.esp BBTombRaider.esp BunnySuit-FNV.esp GhostConversionNVRevamp.esp jodragongirl.esp JuliaChangset.esp MantisZeroSuit_ForNV.esp Deactivate these, you don't need them. SCR provides its own versions of the armor records, and if you use the ones provided by the base mods SCR's features won't work with them. Link to comment
blueblue
It still crashes at the copyright screen. Am I missing some necessary files? Link to comment
Chase Roxand
Did you just download every Sexout ESP/ESM you could find? It doesn't look like you have pHUD, so you don't need SexoutLust - pHUD.esp. You don't need SexoutSS.esp, since you have the newer _C variant. I'm not too familiar with wsex mods, but I'm pretty sure that you need wsex.esm. So disabling "wsex.esp", along with "SexoutLust - pHUD.esp" and "SexoutSS.esp" would be a good start. Link to comment
blueblue
It looks like that did it. Thank you very much. And yes, I did. Link to comment
KainsChylde
In future, any time you get a crash on startup, run FNVEdit. If a file is in the wrong order or missing a master, FNVEdit will stop loading and tell you whats wrong/missing. Link to comment

Unticking them will not work as FNVedit still find them and due to their datetime they will load properly. To get the proper message, either remove a needed ESM totally or screw up your load order in FOMM Link to comment
