Oops, sorry, I did get confused as to who authored the mod!  No offence intended to either Wax or Y_Sen!

 

Wax, we use separate computers, in part because not only does DG freak her out, she doesn't like the sexy mods other than SOS, which in her opinion is necessary for realism.  Which in turn, was why she pointed out this mod to me as something we'd both like (before she read the DG requirement).

 

(I read somewhere that it was possible to make a "blank" ESP and rename it Dawnguard.ESP, just to have it in load order -- is that actually possible?  I didn't try it because I thought if a mod called assets from DG -- Like this one will -- that it wouldn't work anyway.)

 

And now that I have downloaded it and tried it out -- I like it!  Awesome mod, Y_Sen!!

Well, I edited/ deleted all the records relevant to DLCs (DG/ DB) in VILSIMU's two .esp files (attached below),

and cleaned the master files so that the .esps now only have Skyrim.esm as master files.

I hope that your roommate's Skyrim can install and use this one together with SoS without any problem.

[Added: Installation Guide]: Download/ Install the usual VLSIMU package, and then, overwrite its .esp with the following package:

 

vlsimu_non_legendary_esp_only.zip

 

Note: The records in these .esps are not compatible with the ordinary DLC as well as USLEEP. 

To give an example, putting the underwear from this vilsimu.esp on Gelebor (DLC1's snow elf) will be insta CTD,

not only it will make Master Neloth's underwear (as well as his schlong) poke straight out from his Telvanni robe.

It takes for a while, but I hope I can finally make its meshes compatible with two kinds of SAM morphs.

Due to it EULA, I upload the standalone (SAM only) package on vectorplexus.com:

y_sengaku, I just recently had a conversation with Blaze69 in the main SOS thread about Armor Addons, body slots, and how to prevent a particular AA from clipping, i.e. from showing up along the other clothes/armor. It turned out one should check slot 52 flag for an ARMO (armor), and not for ARMA (armor addon). Caught my meaning? I've tested that out with your underwear slot 56, it works perfectly. Now when I use Follow me for Sex and ask NPC to firstly Strip and then Redress, there's no underwear sticking through the armor/clothes. I am going to edit your plugin for my personal use.

Yup, I also saw your conversations in that thread, though I'm still not so sure whether all the redresss script works so flawlessly as you make a notice above without SoS full's auto schlongifying script.

 

Anyway, thank you for the notice, and I also gave free permission (except for DarkSchneiderBS's thing) for tweaking the mod in the download page so that you can publish your customized version freely (without my explicit permission) if you will.

? You're right. They now doesn't leave their underwear on when I ask them to strip. I've done a great deal of job yesterday, in vain it turned out. First two NPC stripped normally, but after I moved to other location, I noticed at once that all the NPC would not equip underwear when the 52 armor is removed. Haven't checked that on corpses yet.

Oh, no!!! vlsimu npc outfitlist list now has no sense, everybody's naked, I mean wearing loinclothes instead of their usual armor/clothes. I checked that with starting a new game.

Why do they prefer a piece of loincloth when they have a cuirass? That's ridiculous! I wonder if there's no keyword, or a simple script to set the "lower" priority for those underwear, or a higher one for the torso armor?

 

I just can't give up with that, it's just impossible: most of the armor have the Priority 5, and the Underwear have Priority 1. What the...

Sorry, I cannot keep up with your post......: 

- The original vlsimu occupies only slot 56 without any reference body so that the cuirass and vlsimu must not be mutually exclusive, i.e. male actors must be able to put them on together. 

- If not so, where your actors' naked body come from (I'm certain it not from the original vlsimu mesh) ? That must be the key to understand your tweaking problem.

- My idea was to make them "mutually exclusive", to prevent actors from putting them on together. Because putting them on together looks weird in the most of cases, don't you think? If you say "They put them together, but underwear is invisible" - NO, not always.

As for your ARMO edit (while I saw Blaze69's post), I honestly have no idea how it works so I cannot recommend your tweak.

 

AFAIK SoS guarantees the relatively quick re-equip of Schlong by script, not the vanilla equip management, so that we cannot compare the non-scripted vlsimu and the scripted schlong add-on, I suppose. There is also absolutely no outfit that occupy both in primary slot (like slot 32) and in secondary slot (like slot52) simultaneously in vanilla game, so I think that the game engine does not necessarily always function as we sometimes assume.

Since the original VLSIMU does not have any outfitbody Nitrishape, the torso part should be invisible plus underwear in my understanding.

 

[Edited]: I forgot to mention the very basic premise above that Priority is only applied to ARMA, not ARMO (see the quote below). So, to tweak the priority would not always be enough to secure the preference of the cuirass outfit to the loincloth. As least you should also 'seal' slot 56 in all the vanilla outfit for double-assuring this preference.

I have another question. Was sure I asked before, but now I checked the thread and found nothing of a sort. Excuse me, if I am wrong.

 

Do you know how to adjust swords (scabbards) position on a body (armored body)? With this underwear on sword's (1h weapon) position is way too far from the body. You know, it's when scabbards are 1.5 feet away from thigh. I guess, every armor comes with a specific skeleton 'within', and that's the cause of this or that weapon's position. How to change that if there's no weapon NiNode in this mesh, do you know by chance?

 

It's as more important to me, as I have other armor with similar problem to solve.

Yes. That's it, though I still now have little idea how it it exactly work. 

I once checked its values for AA of various vanilla outfits, but the current value of VLSIMU (0.0) is a minimum, and there would be greater gaps between the weapon and the body if I assign the greater value like 1.0 (I actually reverted my initial change in v 1.1 or something like that). I can give you some examples of the values: 0.6 for jarl's cloth as well as Dawnguard's armor, 0.65 for mage's apprentice robe, and 1.5 for hide armor (The last one is a bit confusing. Is hide thicker than dawnguard plate armor?).

Hi, Please, excuse me! For some reason all the VLSIMU AAs had Weapon Adjust value of 2.2, could you imagine! That's why it looked like a sword freely floating in the air. Now I changed it to 0.0 - 0.5 and it's OK. Hoamaii Gannicus subligaria has 0.25, EL Underwear has 0.00. So, that's it. Thank you for responce and your patience.

Yes. I'm glad you solved!

 

I certainly once (in v 0.2)  tried to give VLSIMU that value (2.2) to prevent 2 handed weapon sinking into the body, but I had to revert the original value (0.0) in v 0.3 for better compatibility with 1handed-weapon on the hip.

I generally try to avoid necroing but I seem to be having issues with female npcs in the leveled list esp; in that they all have the physics enabled bhunp body clipping through their revealing LSAR clothes. Does anyone know of a workaround for this? I tried setting the female model to be blank but I think that just made it grab the male underwear mesh.
