Creating a body with this type of mesh is not really complex (if you have the mesh)

But then you need a skeleton and a rig for the movements (still not really difficult)

And then the animations, and this is the difficult part.

The best types that I have worked with were .xps - generic_item.mesh or generic_item.mesh.ascii and this is mostly because these files have armatures in them and allow for me to adjust the armatures to make a outfit fit or match up the arm and leg holes as well as allow you to arm and leg position. I did some work awhile back with a creature called ultros found on the deviantart site and I wrapped the tentacles around different parts of the body.

I am awaiting a message back from the creator. If needed i might spend some coin in buying his time to create the necessary files if he is happy to.

I am thinking this thing would be a mobile Estrus, quite quick and quite a lot of HPs and like an Estrus just goes into a scene with no combat/HP loss.

 

Also, there would need to be scripts to:

- Disarm

- remove clothing and weapons

- Disarm/calm all NPCs within a radius

- Run the custom sex animation

 

But yeah.. that animation.

Just be careful with polycount and don't jack the textures up to 8k or even 4k you can get away with 2k size textures or less just fine. Skyrim will shit the bed with 8k and sometimes 4k textures and also high polycount.

Most .xps - generic_item.mesh or generic_item.mesh.ascii I have seen have been low in size mostly because they are mostly ports from games. Like this one here is only 773KB when exported in .OBJ format. With a body in it the file jumps to 1,886 KB

Had a quick chat to the artist he said he has never gotten into skyrim but seems interested in exporting the files needed. I said to him i am happy to pay him as a commission for his work to do so and happy to facilitate its creation as an npc into skyrim. Will see what he says to that.

This does look great.  There is a roving tentacle monster already in Skryim and it has animations.  The Netch on Solstheim, unfortunately it isn't hostile unless provoked.

Yeah, the netch is too peace-loving.  We need like a cross between the seeker and the netch.  I think that's what this mod could offer.

It kinda reminds me of the illithid, one thought could be make the head look like the monster and use a male model humanoid for a initial base ergo male illithid and have them running around in groups and then have roving monster a netch with them (at first until the real model is done and scripted).  I'd start out on that then go for maybe an interaction with eggfactory to force pregnancy (if thats fine) or even go for a custom interaction to create a mini netch similar to the chaurus or spider parasite mods.  Sorry if I'm rambling it'd just be cool to have a fleshed out illithid/tentacle monster mod.
