Here's what I use:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75296/?

Bonus is that it's an SKSE plugin, no ESP/ESM to mess up your load order.

I do remember seeing that before, but a reminder is good.  I think I had not installed it when I first found it thinking I needed to "steal" things so I could activate the thieves guild quest line (using a mod to change what the requirements are, from "breathing" to "X stolen items, Y pockets picked, Z sneak skill") but for some reason it occurred to me this time I can just set "stolen items" to 0.  Duh.

So thanks for the reminder.

Isn't there a mod that lets you kill kids?

Kill the little snitch.

I let the dragon take care of them. What I wonder is, how this kid managed to hire thugs without being held for ransom.

I think there are a few, but some make the children quasi-adults and that gets them banned from LL for trying to use fake IDs.

Kid probably ratted you out to daddy and he hired em in her name or some other comedy.

Just questing around in Dawnstar, trying to become Thane and all when I decided to work on my sneaking abilities. I knocked on Rustleif's door, no answer so I picked the lock and gained a sneak and lock picking skill point, huzzah! Nothing of interest was in the house so I just took an apple because my PC was a bit hungry (RND).

I leave the house and talk to Rustleif the blacksmith and he tells me about his "loving" Redguard wife and how she's knocked up, blah, blah, blah, and he would like for me to plunge myself into danger to get her a book. So I do just that, return to Dawnstar and my PC is instantly jumped by four hired mercenaries.... wtf? After dying then coming back prepared and killing them I found a note on one of them that told the bastards to kill my "thief" of a PC and it was signed "-Seren"!

I was pissed! I went to confront the bitch and to my dismay had no options to do or say anything - she just innocently spoke about her husband. Seriously? She sends a bunch of thugs to come kill my PC over an apple?

UGH!!!

I may or may not slit her throat in her sleep.

haha gaymes XD

The mod is called Stranger Danger and it is not meant for naughty, horrible, kid stuff that I won't mention here. The mod author explains why he made this mod. Plus Braith is a bitch that deserves to die. Just saying....

I just have to say that everyone's comments here are hilarious.

Yeah, I knew some were safe for use with SL, some that just improved appearances or gave you more clothing or adoption options.

Just thought I'd mention that though as a warning in case anyone else came wandering by and read the thread.

On the other hand, Braith's problem is really simple.  She just needs to get a little from Lars, but he's a pansy milk drinker. Should talk to his older brothers or something.

I really do appreciate you mentioning the "issue" before it may or may not have become a problem. I just want to drop it because it makes me sick to my stomach.

I asked the incredibly talented Cema on how to recreate Little Aela because I thought that the idea of having a tragic story and wanting vengeance (being the hero of Skyrim) as a child would be a very fun way to play a game. Or pretend that a male and female Companion followers were her parents so they could all fight together. I unselected ALL of my adult SL and LL mods from her profile and I am having so much fun playing as a child archer/warrior.

So now that that's out of the way, let's continue with amusing and funny stories/moments that happened to us in game that we did not expect or see coming. :)

Tell you what I didn't see coming - lost a fight to a giant and had forgotten that Defeat had giant animations... There then followed the extremely painful scene of my (male) PC getting stuffed by said giant.  Ouch.  Damn Defeat...

Your poor PC's tushy....

I had a "Strange Request" from Radiant Prostitution in which my PC was to be offered to giants (plural). With Wear & Tear installed she couldn't run back to Whiterun, only slowly walk. In the MCM for Apropos it said that the status of her private parts were "battered". :(

One mod I've used before, adds a Smelter to Solitude and Riften. For Solitude, it moves the table in the Smithing area, and thus has the same objects that were on it, on the workbench. On one character, I believe I moved one of the items to use the bench easier. It did not go into the PC's inventory. Know that this was in the middle of the night, and no one saw this happen - the blacksmith was not around. I was around Merida's shine a while later, and then the thugs show up. Yeah, it was the Blacksmith.

A character I'm playing at the moment, a Shadow Mage/Necromancer, recently did Namira's quest. After doing that, and traveling all the way across Skyrim to Winterhold, at some point, she gets a a letter from a Courier. An Inheritance letter. From the Priest involved with Namira's quest. And yes, she has the ring, wearing it proudly

I didn't realize touching things counted as theft, and I've seen a few mods that supposed make it so.

On the other hand, I do love doing favor quests for people I later kill. Makes those inheritance letters that much sweeter.

I didn't know that either. I'm going to be even more paranoid now.... And yes, I've started enjoying getting those inheritance letters as well so I've been doing a lot more killing.

More thugs, just in case you didn't learn the first time.

Um...no. That's okay.

My guess would be a bug or he does have a mod that makes touching a crime... though I might just want to test that myself later and see.

Ooo, more loot pinatas. One of the upsides of having a lot more guards (and other npcs) added by mods is you can get more help to fight off the thugs sent by someone helped by those same NPCs catch you steal what the thugs are punishing you for taking.

I also want to see if the increased bounty hunter works. Timing Is Everything has an option to increase the chance, but it doesn't seem to work.

And I thought I was a masochist.

If you mean me, I'm usually playing a trouble making little scamp when going unlawful.  I'll either shoot the thugs at range and then run and hide while the guards take them apart or scamper to the nearest bear and let it deal with the issue.

That, or bows and lingering damage poisons

I'm big on bows and stealth and yes, I do have my PCs steal, but I never purposely start trouble. Maybe I should try it for shits and giggles.

I might have picked it up, even if the intent was just to move it slightly. Try to move something, don't hold the key long enough, accidentally pick up an object.

Although my usual problem otherwise with the game, would be the exact way crime works. I've had once or twice, attempted to start Dawnguard. But since the Dawnguard reacts to the player having a bounty in Riften? Obviously a problem. Even the guy who you meet after entering the Canyon, who technically is not a member of the Dawnguard yet, will attack you if you have a bounty in the Rift. Nevermind that they should have no idea you did anything, but since something saw you do it, like for example....a rabbit that runs away too fast, and perhaps you never saw, suddenly the entire hold knows about it, at least the guards.

Posted

Yeah, while he's not a member of the Dawnguard yet, I bet he's in the faction, and thus part of the province wide guard system. You can have a bounty in each hold independently but they'll all try to catch you if they and you are in a hold that wants you.

I also don't exactly start trouble on purpose but I don't mind mods that are supposed to add a difficulty that I can instead use in creative ways. Fury is by far my favorite spell, though.

Usually I don't either, but there are some situations where your intentions do not line up at all with what actually happens.

Not too sure what character it was, but I think it was Kazma, playing with Yiffy Age. Came across two female Vigilants, and helped them deal with something...oh, those Boars from Beasts of Tamriel, and they ended up going after my character next. Must have hit them on accident, since the character isn't a Vampire, nor is he carrying any Daedric items, or anything else that even might cause Vigilants to attack the PC.

I got a bounty for dealing with the first one, though I don't know exactly what for. Seems pure luck that once the second Vigilant was dead, the bounty was removed.

Yeah, combat scrum can easily lead to friendly fire. There are a few settings you can change to reduce the chance they come after you if you do hit them, but that also depends on them considering you friend and not just random bystander.

Usually though if you attack both, they are both witnesses, and killing one increases the bounty. Killing the second though removes all witnesses so the bounty is removed, because it would never get reported, unlike those magical telepathy using chickens.

My two-faced bitch story. I use Epic Restoration mod and it has a mend injury spell. It will heal the sickly farmer and injured soldier in the temple. (also soldiers in camps) Anyway, I heal sickly farmer and ask about sex, replies she isn't that easy,152 gold.

Next time I'll either Defeat, Pet Collar or Hentai Collar her.

I find it odd that I have to get a plain healing potion for Wujeeta and her skooma addiction but I can use healing hands on Valdr. I would think if I can't heal her, I should need a cure poison or disease potion instead.

I also thought those "sikly" farmers were just kinda static NPCs, along with all of the soldiers. Then again, if you could heal them and they liked you afterward, the courier would probably have a bagful of letters at some point.

Courier related, you have an option of being a bitch yourself. There are other couriers you can run into on the road who say they don't have time to stop. You can kill them or pick their pockets and find a letter from a location boss to a patron asking for more money or supplies after a drawback. Reading the letter will mark a random location in your current hold on your map similar to the Treasure Hunter or Mercenary "on the way to some trouble nearby."
