Nisetanaka has abandoned us :(

His latest file still there. He removed everything else. I don't know if this has something to do with donations since the problem was with PayPal and not the Nexus.

I believe some over sensitive people got offended with his mod description and reported him to the Nexus staff. (just speculation from my part)

What were the three files? I saw and downloaded The Amazing World of Bikini Armor, but didn't see any others.

 

The files availble was the main mod, UUNP files, a UUNP fix, and UNP options. Has the entire mod been removed from the nexus??

There are 5 files in the downloads. I saw reference to the top 3 downloads belonging to Nisetanaka, so I thought he had uploaded something in addition to the bikini armors.

Anyone still have his presets? Was holding off on modding/playing Skyrim till my day off and then I find this mess at nexus, in addition to Nise pulling his mods. If someone does have them I'd be grateful for a link.

To everyone concerned about staff involvement with this author's contributions, I'd like to clear up what may be misconceptions.

A particular file of nisetanaka's was brought to our attention involving a report from a community member which expressed concerns about the content it contains. In an attempt to rectify the situation without need for formal administration, I reached out to nisetanaka via forum PM asking for confirmation or resolution of the concern that was originally reported. Something that very may have been resolved with a simple explanation as far as I'm concerned, which I made apparent I was open to.
 
When looking into the matter however, the moderation staff and I found that the descriptions (both long and short versions) submitted by nisetanaka for many of his files were either not descriptive or arguably misguiding as well as unnecessarily provocative or outright inappropriate (see selected examples below). Again though, I approached rectifying this situation by opening dialogue rather than formal administration, addressing these concerns via PM and asking for the appropriate changes to be made. The current file description that you see is the apparent and regrettable result of this exchange. That said, I still hope my correspondence with nisetanaka is on going and hope that we can resolve this without issue.

Edit: To further clarify, we have no issue at all with authors using the paypal donation features the site offers. However, pandering for donations in descriptions is generally frowned upon, especially when as done as provocatively as the above example.

Loathe though I am to defend the Nexus moderators, it seems this whole thing is really just a combination of one sensitive little fuckstick reporting the use of the word "faggot"* and nise himself severely overreacting to a nexus moderator simply trying to open a dialog. I wonder how much is just language barrier? nise is clearly somewhat but competent but obviously not fluent in English, so maybe he's assuming it's worse than it is? With Nexus moderators' reputation, that wouldn't be surprising.

Sup! Figured I take a moment and add some extra insight what's going on. Yeah he's both pissed and dishearten all at once. The reason he was more overt with donations was because he's been struggling as of late. It didn't help that Japan is not all that keen with Paypal as it clashes with some if its domestic banking regulations (as for how exactly NIse-Kun did not elaborate), so the direct email listing was needed. As for Nise-Kun's off color humor drawing offense, that I am surprised about. Granted maybe he could have dialed it back just a teensy bit. But this IS NiseTanaka after all and it very much a signature of his. The fact that someone got "concerned" this far in is an amazement (and disappointment) in of it self. The guy loves to speak is mind after all.

 

Combined with all this only added a bitter taste to his burnout, so yeah I can empathize with how he's feeling right now.

Yea I donated to him a second time to let him know Loverslab exists and that sort of bullshit doesn't fly here.

Damn this is such crap... Skyrim modding is supposed to be a place where we encourage each other and make Skyrim 20x better then what Bethesda came out with. Not this crap where we harass other modders and get their hard work taken down... Nise's mods were some of the best. There have been too many incidents like this and I wish it would stop.

 

And if you guys could help me out:

I'm really disappointed the presets and skin texture mod were taken down... I was gonna start modding my next playthrough next and was gonna was use the skin texture... Can someone PM me an upload for the texture... it would be greatly appreciated

Would someone give me a run down regarding the proper etiquette of sharing the presets and textures?
I was fortunate to have downloaded them earlier before this unfortunate turn of events and I don't want to do something that goes against Nisetanaka's wishes or would cause a huge problem.

Honestly, I was more excited for these than I was for the continuation of the bikini mods (and I was very excited for the continuation of the bikini mods) because finding quality plate armor mods for females that you can separate and ass-out like that is frickin' hard, man. I've got a handful that I've kludged out of various mods via hack-ass mesh edits, but nothing that holds together as nicely as this. The possibility that it might not get a public release due to burnout and Nexus idiocy makes me sad. 

 

(There are some scraps of this tucked away in the bikini mod, but they're not at all ready for player use and also don't show off the ass at all, so...)
