So recently I decided to make a "succubus" character - not an actual race just made my PC look like one. And the more I've read the more I've come to see that a lot of people kind of put succubi in the same category as vampires or vampire futas, to my knowledge, a succubus is a very sexual female demon, beautiful and sexy, that literally sucks the souls out of men and or women. They can be beautiful but, actually be really ugly in their real form or so I've read.

 

I've looked at mods about being a succubi race or being both a succubus and a vampire so I'm a bit confused. I play my character as a sexually active succubus, running around nude, has relations with men, women, and creatures and is not ashamed of it and I downloaded the drain life mod (I think it's called) Deadly Drain, which is awesome!

 

After looking at player housings, armor, and weapons, etc. I keep seeing the same thing come up : "Good for Succubus, Vampire, Necromancer, or Thief Characters."

 

When I look at videos on YouTube or posts here, with pics, I see gorgeous Succubi mostly with schlongs and assaulting both men and women. Is that really what a succubus does? I know we can play our PC's any way we want but, is that the way it's really supposed to be?

 

I have nothing against futa and nothing against vampires. I just don't want to play as them right now. In Defeat, I like to play the victim but, the more I see and read, the Succubi are supposed to be assaulters to both men and women. I guess I'm just submissive at heart when it comes to slavery and BDSM. Though a lot of mods are catering to merging Succubi and Vampire together and they're not exactly submissive. Apart from the drain soul thing, I have her equipped with awesome wings, horns, a killer scythe, and sexy gear.

 

How do you play your Succubus character? Is she a Vampire as well or just a "look alike" like mine or do you have a dedicated race for yours?

I am personally not mixing my vamps / succubuses, I prefer to play with them as separate characters. But I am not taking it seriously when I am on my succubus, I am just running around killing, screwing and draining people with DD (not always in that order XD).

 

We made a small update to DD recently that allows you to bite people even if you are not a vampire still gives you arousal ^^ I like neckbiting, sue me

I guess my Nord is just playing "dress up" then! She's the nicest Succubi there is in Skyrim. I've never played a straight up mean character nor a squeaky clean good character either. Maybe it's time to start scaring the crap out of villages and cities and have some fun being sexually evil and kill everyone after they've been used.

Depending on the mythology you're starting with (in game, out of game religious, oog table top rpg monster manuals, etc) and what your goal or purpose of playing a "succubus" is, you can end up with widely differing methods.

 

I think a lot of the futa raping succubus videos you've seen are just the currently popular flavor du jour for vid makers, or they're just all feeding on each other with the more popular mods, or something tunnel vision minded like that.

 

Depending on the depth of your role play, you can just go with the futa raping enemies to kill them mechanic or using a mod to replicate the Bethesda coded Skyrim vampire blood requiring mechanic and feed on sex instead. Using a mod to track sex power instead of blood and getting more or less power based on the activity and target.  With the PSQ mod I used recently, I think you got less power from an aggressive blowjob on an enemy and the most from a loving vaginal act on a level 4 lover. You could tweak how much power you lost per day, how much you used for certain special spells, etc, and could either go a week with no sex, or needing to pull a harem around to keep from dying.

 

I tend not to like a lot of point tracking and overly difficult inducing mechanics... I don't use frostfall or ineed or any of those, and was mostly trying PSQ to see if it would give me greater control over killing/pacifying/increasing favor with sex partners. In the end I decided it was more work than I wanted to deal with, and focused more on the goal of making everyone in Skyrim peaceful to me, first, and then secondarily to everyone else (hate wating for some outside vendor to come back to a shop after chasing some wolf that wandered into town, or finding 5 hp non-essential flavor NPCs dead from something stupid). That way I can just wander around Skyrim sexing anyone and everyone I either feel like, or need to for a quest.

 

In case anyone hasn't found it or forgot about it, there is an abandoned mod here on LL that does still work called Sexlab Leveling.  It grants a point each time you have sex, though with an option for only new people.  Sex a single NPC 5 times and you can get 5 points or 1 point, depending.  You then spend the points on things like fire resist, damage increase, spell cost decrease, an unlocking spell, and a spell to kill (with an upgrade) and soul trap any person or critter you sex.  The spell has to be cast prior to sex, though if you use the mod's hotkey to rape someone, it will auto cast the spell (or not, you can turn that off).  It also has a built in death alternative feature although after you would die, you just get raped by 1 npc usually. I think the multiple part is broken.  It also does not pacify the rapist or anyone else, another reason I'd like to just make all of Skyrim happy and not fighting.

That's a very interesting way of playing and looking at it. I am hesitant to download PSQ. I've been pretty happy with Deadly Drain and maybe because I'm playing a "succubus" character I have no problem shagging anyone around. I used to RP in MMOs but, in Skyrim I just do it in my head. After all the Alternate Starts I've tried today, I picked one that I liked, rolled with it and am just writing stories in my mind about how she got there and how it's going to affect her behavior. I've still kept her heterosexual but, did not disable any lesbian animations so if something happens, which it has, I'm okay with it and it's nice. I do enjoy sucking the life out of anyone that rapes her so that's where DD comes in handy.

 

I recently stumbled upon a very old "Succubus Playthrough" for Skyrim that someone created about 4 years ago and it mainly involves magic usage and a dagger. I've NEVER done that so, I printed it out and decided to go that route for a change of things. The way this person described the playthrough made a lot of sense for a Succubus so I just thought, "Why the hell not?" There's even a section dedicated to builds if you do want to be a vampire which I thought was pretty neat - I'm just not ready for that yet.

 

The whole adding points for sex mod sounds neat! I use SLEN to gain speechcraft with solicitation so that would be a very cool mod to add to my collection. Thank you for bringing that up!

 

I think the Succubus playthough and my own RP will help me not to be such an "innocent" PC while playing since I had to be so restrictive while RPing on other games. I can play a sex fiend and not give a care in the world! Hooray for killing while shagging!

The innocence of the succubus goes back to the mythology you're using.  While the concept I'm using for Skyrim is far from lily white pure snow it isn't the "kill to feed" vampire concept. More of a "wanton, will have sex with anything but humans are best" concept that is mostly just a "thin story for a porn" kind of idea because I haven't put that much thought into it as a mechanic. I am more going on the theory of "feeding on the emotions of love" or a "needs something from sex to compliment real food" ideas from a lot of other vampire origin fiction I've read.  Killing through sex is (head cannon wise) through some spell or magic she has along with that innate wantonness and whatever succubus race/curse/bloodline she is allows for free will and members/victims can be more good or more evil.

 

When I've worked on RP concepts for a Skyrim character I usually start with "Why am I in Skyrim?" and go onto what am I going to do (if not just playtest a mod, and sometimes then).  The gutter thief dunmer going to the thieves guild or the nord werewolf going on thin rumors about the Companions, etc. Then I use that to pick appropriate hair styles... more or less ordered, with or without jewels, etc.

 

I have had bad luck with getting the DD mod to work how I want. Maybe I want too much control over draining or I have something else conflicting, as my targets either would not die when I did want them to or I had to use the auto mode and toggle kill on or off, leaving the not killed ones staggering around after making sweet love in our marital bed.

 

With Leveling, the other mod I have that works well is Sexlab Util. With it I can have a calm spell applied to a victim or aggressor (so I can jump someone, or get jumped myself by a bandit or troll or guard) and after sex I can have a peaceful time to get away.  It also has ways to drain health and magicka or outright kill but NPCs tend to heal up quite quickly and there is no hotkey or toggle on the kill mech, so I either end up accidentally killing someone that wanted to play rough, or not killing someone I am trying to assassinate.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having trouble with DD. A lot of times a mod just doesn't work for some people as it is intended to or there's a conflict involved. Other times it doesn't "work" because it's not everything we wanted it to be. I've dealt with both. Maybe it's being spoiled by modding that does this. I know it has for me. I get an idea and then think, "There has to be a mod for that!" I go searching, find one or several, try them out, and sometimes I'm over the moon and other times I feel like a spoiled brat because it's not what I had in mind and "now I'm mad!". [insert grumpy face here]

 

When it comes to RPing it seems that we almost have the same mindset. I am liking my Succubus's story thus far and just hope that nothing bad happens game-wise to force me to start over.

Yeah, the Sexlab Util mod is good for what it does, but one limitation is "Partner is Creature" but nothing for "Partner is wolf" or "is bear" though there is a "partner undead" option.

 

I may need to try DD again and see if some of the issues I had, mechanically, were fixed or not. The last time I posted asking, they were not.

PSQ, on the other hand, is a more antagonising style. With a dominating role, in every quest you do.

The only Thing I'm really miss, is a storline to wrap one or the other up and give the succubus a ultimate goal, like infiltrate a court or smth, and manipulate the alphamale to do your bidding.

I don't want to take anything away from them and make them weak. Yes, with DD, she drains her partners on orgasm but, they don't die (I have that set to manual) nor do they stagger around when their done. It only happens with non followers that stagger after her orgasm drain.

 

Do you know if that particular mechanic is customizable and won't decrease powers etc. from my followers?

It was called "Aedra vs Daedra" before, if i remember right you'll become a succubus for Molag Bal if Deadly Drain installed, and a Vampire for somebody else if not. I've tried a succubus race for a short time, was intresting but i'm not sure if it's compatible with all my other favorites... it's been a while.

His Divines mod just gave you a quest NPC that would activate either Untamed, DD, Dibella's Defender or PSQ, as I understood it.  Nothing really added to any of them but a bit of story to start the whole thing.

A roleplay mechanics possibility for a succubus or incubus style character comes from a story I read.  It was more about warlocks, summoning demons and powering spells through contracts with people who sell you their souls.  His concept was that the soul of a person was what powers your creativity, drive, ambition, everything that makes you who you are.

 

Now, obviously you can take the "sell your soul" concept that has been around for probably as long as thoughts of a supernatural evil that might be willing to sell you great power, but that won't work when you're trying to rape a bandit... or get raped by one. As the aggressor, you might promise (pinky finger... with the other hand behind your back, fingers crossed) that you'll let the poor sap or unlucky girl go if they just ... whatever. My twist was based on the exchange of fluids. You, or your succubus PC, has taken a vital essence of the victim into herself (or himself if you're going incubus on guy) or your incubus has planted his vital essence into the female victim and either way, created a link between "demon" and victim. This allows you limited access to their energy and somewhat like drawing blood (either Red Cross donation drive, or vampire drive through, you pick) you can draw off some of their excess energy for yourself.   This won't let you kill them, generally, which fits my play style but that really all depends on how strong mystically your character is, how strong you want to make that bond, or if getting a soul donation is harder on a body than a pint of blood, and a few cookies and juice isn't enough.  Serana, the Dragonborn and the Soul Cairn quest seem to indicate something like this is possible, but I never felt all that weaker taking that option over taking the "make a vampire" option while doing the Dawnguard side of things.

When I used to play a Warlock in WoW I was so excited then equally pissed off at the April Fool's joke that was played on us WoW players about the Wearable Angle and Demon Wings that were going to available for sale on the Blizzard store. I so wanted those wings and to play a Succubus type character even though I loved my Warlock to death. I was never into the Demonology spec so I didn't summon demons but, when I RP'd, her style did involve a lot of "exchanging powerful gifts for souls," she was seductive and could get away with murder (actual group RP story). So I get it and like the concept.

 

As I'm playing with my Succubus now I see side quests as a chance to do deeds for people while my character gets that extra something special in return - whether consensually or by force. With SL Solutions I can actually have the option via dialogue for some of them. It's been pretty fun thus far.

Solutions is a good pairing for a variety of dark characters, especially on the encounters written as blackmail and not post success reward.  Depending on how dark you wanted to be, even the reward sex could be used for twisted, dark purposes.  Carlotta thought she was just giving you a one off reward for dealing with Mikael but didn't realize just how much she was going to give you.

Hi, I am looking on start a Succubus soon, and was searching for good mods to do it;

I read about sexlab leveling, and I'll try it. The Enchantress mod to illusions spells, seems to be very apropriated to use together, too.

I loved Deadly Drain, though I found that it can be a little too overpower, if I use the option to kill anyone with sex. That and Defeat together, and you dont need even to fight (even thought, could be a fun playthrough). The "Drain to draugr" feature is awesome too.I just wish that was some kind of progression (I think the Drain power doesn't scale with level or destruction damage, does it?).

 

I will look for a way to tweak a little and make more challenging, like disable my natural mana and health regen. So I would focus on maximum mana and health plus enchants, and the only "natural" regen would be with sex (I could even use a follower as rechargeable battery, would be fun).

But again, using Defeat, still make things too easy (and I can't play without it =)), so I need to think about a way, so Ican't win everything just being raped...

One other option for "free sex" is one of the consequences mods that have a chance of disease.

 

I also don't know, but Defeat might have an option to steal your stuff. May not happen if you kill everyone though. Death Alternative also could play in, putting you someplace you might not want to be.

 

Some of the devious devices mods might also work, at least in a role play sense.  If you're wrapped up in cursed bindings you can't use your powers.
