DevilForce Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 (Apologies for any errors English is my 2nd language) Hey, so I've recently got into modding this game, I made a pretty "stable" build (Did have the random CTD) but after installing some more mods, I had problems with ENB, fixed it, everything went fine untill I tried to have sex with someone and once I try to, nothing happens. They just stand there, not making a noise, im free to move and talk with the person again but nothing will happen. I tried using non sexlab sex mods like Estrus and Adult Show XXX and they do work. Yes I did run FNIS as admin from MO. I reinstalled almost all of the sexlab mods and nothing changed. The mod where you can have NPC's milk you also don't give any animations, neither does Defeat or Devious Devices (Or any other Sexlab mod). Yes I did read the FAQ and the troubleshooting page. I don't think it could be that my specs are not enough because I have a GTX 1060 6vram (although I am using windows 10) and 12gb ram. Yes I did make a mod from the Overwrite thing. Then the two characters have sex. I reinstalled all my sexlab mods and I no longer have these options so which mod provided those? Thank you ^^
Nazzzgul666 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Mh, you know that you have to install sexlab ingame via MCM? DId you wait until it says "finished", not only something like "animations installed"? Was this broken from the very beginning? I had a bug in Cum Shot brothel that broke all animations, even running. I definitly don't recommend to use this version, there will be a complete rewrite of it, wait until that's done. Even if you don't have this bug, there are several others that at least prevent progress. Not entirely sure if they just forgot to rename it for FNIS, but DD 3.0 beta is outdated, you should check if you have the up-to-date version. I'm not sure what your child mods does and/or if they count in this matter, but there are some child mods that prevent sexlab from working. Check compatibility.
DevilForce Posted October 29, 2016 Author Posted October 29, 2016 Sexlab was always enabled and it worked fine before I installed the group of mods in which cum brothel was in so maybe that will fix the problem if I disable it. Thanks. EDIT: Disabling Cum Brothel did not work. Im gonna try with the children mods. Also, could you link me to the DD that I have which is outdated? If its DD Integration then I have the up to date version. I cant seem to find anything else. EDIT2: Disabling the children mods did nothing. Do I have to remove the mods or just unchecking them is enough?
Nazzzgul666 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Yes, it's DD Integration, they probably just forgot to change the name. Not sure about the children mods, it's even possible that uninstalling won't help (same for Cum Shot Brothel) because some scripts will be baked into your save. The best way is to remove them in your mod manager and load a save before installing them in the first place, you can try to uncheck them... but be aware that removing mods (no matter which way) from a running game can cause trouble because, like mentioned, they can leave stuff in your save. That can lead to all kinds of wierd problems including corrupted saves and you have to start all over... if you install mods during a running game, always keep a save before adding them. For testing purposes it's imho the best just to start a new game after removing and see if it works there, then add the mods one by one and see which one causes trouble. That's the only way to make sure that it's not a broken save and you find the problematic mod for sure. If you don't have a save before adding the problematic mod you can try to make a clean save (google how to do that, i never remember every single step) and use script scalpel after that.

It sounds liike it might work if your character is high enough, but i never played any custom races... don't know if that works. Which reminds me: make also sure xpmse isn't overwritten by anything including custom races, that can cause problems either from sexlab not working to CTDs.

I disabled Cum Brothel and many of the children mods (that I've installed yesterday). What else would you suggest to disable? EDIT: What if I want to delete all of my saves? Would that work or not? Or doing a clean reinstall, even?

I installed Sexlab again and everything (it even said Sexlab activated in game, the animations are also there but they dont work) in MCM and when I talked with an npc (with the JUGS options since thats the quickest way to test it). Nothing happened, they didn't even undress. I tried attacking them and surrendering, nothing happened, I tried walking around naked, one guy saw me and tried to rape but again, nothing happened. No clothes were removed, no sound was heard. I reckon my last resort would be to just delete everything and start from scratch.

Thank you ^^ Your mod list show XPMSE installed but your FNIS run tells me you have some other mods that have overwritten the XPMSE skeleton. It may be as simple as reinstalling XPMSE and running FNIS again. Unrelated to the Sexlab problem I also noted that you have several mods that directly conflict with each other, you have the ancient xvision mods, Skykids mods and a killable children mod. Since it looks like the Skykids one is last you could probably safely remove the others because they'll all be changing the same records and the last one is the only one that matters.

Yes I did try a new game after deleting all of my saves, reinstalled xpmse (or xp32, isnt that the same thing?) and nothing. The menus say the animations are there but nothing happens when I try to use Matchmaker or anything! I think im gonna uninstall and start from scratch.

May want to completely remove them. Would probably be a good Idea, sounds like you got some stuff messed up, maybe pretty bad.3. See if you can load your game, and the make a new save from console Type "save Cleanthis" Cleanthis will be the name of the saved game. CleanThis is just a name to give it.4. Exit game5. Now run save tool, ( you did download and install it right? ) go to your save game location if default it will be atC:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves\CleanThis >> Load the CleanThis Save if you use Mod Organizer it will be in you mod Organizer folder \Mod Organizer\profiles\Your Profile Name\saves\CleanThis >>Load the CleanThis Save6. Click play animation on the right side of the window.22. you will have to exit the MCM menu. If all is well then you will see the animation start23. If not well, crap-ola your screwed again.. I am out of Ideas. You might want to run through one of the more official tutorials on getting up and running. Main thing is get Sexlab up first, then add new mods slowly, like one at a time make sure they work like you want them, then try another. Use NMM, or MO so if you install a mod, and everything goes bonkers, you can easy uninstall it.

HAI! okay, sorry about not showing up earlier. you need to start skyrim from steam, buddy. that warning means that fnis isn't going to work at all. i'm not going to speculate as to the cause of this, just do it. not into arguing with people over what they THINK they did or didn't. capiche? once that's done, run FNIS as normal from MO. p.s. until we get to the next troubleshooting step, i have to apologize and say you need to check your .ini files because skyrim will have reset them to default. *shrug* anyways, i hope that helps, but skyrim is a major pain in the arse and you'll probably have some weird problem still. p.p.s. we're not even going to start talking about how horrible your skeleton bones are set up as fnis reports. *facepalm* p.p.p.s. BTW, sir, you're running a known pirate copy.
DevilForce Posted November 3, 2016 Author Posted November 3, 2016 (Apologies for any errors English is my 2nd language) Hey, so I've recently got into modding this game, I made a pretty "stable" build (Did have the random CTD) but after installing some more mods, I had problems with ENB, fixed it, everything went fine untill I tried to have sex with someone and once I try to, nothing happens. They just stand there, not making a noise, im free to move and talk with the person again but nothing will happen. I tried using non sexlab sex mods like Estrus and Adult Show XXX and they do work. Yes I did run FNIS as admin from MO. I reinstalled almost all of the sexlab mods and nothing changed. The mod where you can have NPC's milk you also don't give any animations, neither does Defeat or Devious Devices (Or any other Sexlab mod). Yes I did read the FAQ and the troubleshooting page. I don't think it could be that my specs are not enough because I have a GTX 1060 6vram (although I am using windows 10) and 12gb ram. Yes I did make a mod from the Overwrite thing. Bye the way there are some really good tutorials here on how to get it all working, and I am just going on memory, so I may miss something here. Anyway this is what i would try, as best my memory goes. 1. Get save tool. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? 2. turn sexlab, and all mods that have anything to do with sex lab Off. May want to completely remove them. Would probably be a good Idea, sounds like you got some stuff messed up, maybe pretty bad. 3. See if you can load your game, and the make a new save from console Type "save Cleanthis" Cleanthis will be the name of the saved game. CleanThis is just a name to give it. 4. Exit game 5. Now run save tool, ( you did download and install it right? ) go to your save game location if default it will be at C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves\CleanThis >> Load the CleanThis Save if you use Mod Organizer it will be in you mod Organizer folder \Mod Organizer\profiles\Your Profile Name\saves\CleanThis >>Load the CleanThis Save 6. There are 5 buttons to look at top left of the SaveTool window you need to worry about FixScriptInstances Delete all# Clean Other Del. broken Actives Advanced Click the first four Then click the advanced, and when the window pops up click the "Remove scripts attached to nonexistant created forms" then click it a second time. Now save the Game with a new name, I would use "IcleanedThis" 7. load that game see if it loads okay, make another save from console "save ReadyToPlay" just another name to give it. 8. exit the game 9. install SKSE >>>latest version 9-1. you should have Fuz-ro-duh install if you want to be able to read the text from most mods. 10 Install FNIS >>>Latest version 11 Install SkyUI >>>Latest version 12. install "zazanimationpack" Latest version, make sure get it all. 13. install "SOS Schlongs of skyrim" Pick a version most all of them work, the latest is 3.04, but I have problems with that one. but it is probably the best one. 14. install "Sexlab" latest version 15. XP32 Maximum Skeleton http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/676-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended-xpmse/ I had this last to be sure it got control. 16. Should be ready to run FNIS for first time, make sure it finishes with no error's. 17. if FNIS did okay load game. now go to sexlab MCM >>>>it may have a need to be installed, before it can be used. Do that if it is needed. 18. Once sexlab is for sure fully installed. go to Sexlab MCM 20. go to the 7th menu option on the left hand side. "Aninimation Editer", click it. 21.In the window not the menu Options at top left click, and try to find a masturbation animation You need a solo event. Once you have one found. Click play animation on the right side of the window. 22. you will have to exit the MCM menu. If all is well then you will see the animation start 23. If not well, crap-ola your screwed again.. I am out of Ideas. You might want to run through one of the more official tutorials on getting up and running. Main thing is get Sexlab up first, then add new mods slowly, like one at a time make sure they work like you want them, then try another. Use NMM, or MO so if you install a mod, and everything goes bonkers, you can easy uninstall it. Hey, thank you very much for your time, but I have already deleted everything and started from scratch. But if I get a problem like that again, I will resort to this fix. Thank you again ^^

Trust me, it's FNIS not completing that is your problem, not sexlab 2) "it" worked fine? you just stated you're new to modding skyrim so how come you can say sexlab animations worked fine in the past? i'm really happy Fore instituted a way to prevent pirated version from being able to play sexlab animations. warms the cockles of my heart. cheers

LOL Nope with out FNIS it ain't gonna work. FNIS is the only reason we can run all the animations that have been added, with out it you are Screwed for Sexlab, or won't be screwing or something like that.

I specificaly said that other mods that use FNIS but don't use Sexlab are WORKING. So trust me, it is Sexlab. 2) Yes it did work fine. I'm new to modding, but that doesn't mean that I just started it. Sexlab stopped working after I installed some more mods which were "The Cum Brothel" and "Skykids" Fore never instituted a way to prevent that. Is your heart cold again?
