So my character has the seed stone in her, and my character was in a dungeon and a Falmer did something to her (he threw a liquid, and the sound effect for liquid was heard) and now everything is grey and bright.....and it gets worse as I play. When she is outside I can barely see anything its so bright. Its been days (in game) and nothing has happened with the queen chaurus part other than a dialogue box came up and said a tentacle had come out of her vagina and reached down her leg. 

 

My question is, is there a visual part to this or is it some other mod screwing that up.....and how long does the seed stone take to work its magic?

 

Btw, I checked skooma whore, and she isnt on anything, no withdrawals

Checked Milk Mod Econ, lactaid doesnt have any lasting effects I think. 

 

Her stats show she is not addicted to anything and not in withdrawal. 

 

I have no idea how to fix this....I cant see a damn thing! lol

yes i downloaded the newest version that is how i found out about the queen but i had older version still on i just said yes to mod upgrade but i did not 

deactivate older version if that helps

Oddly enough, you can pretty much tell that the mesh is there, but some parts just ain't happy to be there.

Could it have anything to do with HDT plugins?

Is that happening with other mods?

Are you using the SE version? the alternate meshes have not been converted to SE I don't think.

 

You could also try reinstalling your skeleton. Are you using XPMS or something like that?

I will have to check the quest ID but what is supposed to happen is this, regardless of the sequence of the scene with Danica:

 

- go into the Sanctuary with the face hugger on to reduce the effect of the poison

- wear nettlebane in either hand

- locate and take the rusted saw

 

That should clear up the poison and disable the spriggans.

 

You may have to wait a little bit for the scene with Danica to be over before you talk to her in case she is stuck.

 

Edit: Since several things are cleared up when you pick up the saw it is better to do it manually rather than setting a quest stage in the console. So equip Nettlebane when you pick up the saw and it should work out.

Did you try sleeping? and are you using the latest version I posted yesterday?

 

That version should fix the problem.

 

In the previous version, the effect should be cleared after sleeping.

Not sure if this is a bug, or just broken at my end.

 

I just strated a new game with all the updated version's,  Went to start with Listelle out in the wild and the part where you go and get the charus stud with the pheramones seems to be broken.  

 

Using the charus pheramones doesn't trigger the end combat / fun times / follow back.

Just say the 31a New download, so will try that

A few pointers:

 

- Make sure you install yesterday's update.

- Prepare the right version of the the Chaurus Pheromones potion (only use the Reapers version if you are going to engage Reapers)

- Get close enough to the target before drinking the potion

 

I tested the potion yesterday several times and it was working.

31a Fixed my problems :) Probably should have checked there first before posting on it.

 

Cant wait to see that monster of a charus somewhere abouts,  only had a look at the model in nifscope but looks cool af

stuck on the second chapter when i give dancia a facehugger. right after she receives it she tells me to follow her into the sanctuary but she leave the temple and goes into white run instead of the sanctuary and same thing issue happens when she tells me to follow her to the sanctuary after getting all items required for the seed ritual.

Try going to the Sanctuary anyway after she tells you to follow her.

I tried to add some safeguards to force her to go there with out even if other AI packages are telling her to do something else.

Ok, downloaded the new version, and had her sleep, no change. Went to a different place, slept, no change......I have had her sleep all different places and nothing. It is stuck somehow i think.

Guessing, you are playing with a NVidia-Card, this could be a driverproblem ( so it is always a good problem-solving-way, to reinstall the driver, testing the previousversion, too).

If nothing changes, then you will know, that it is a texture-problem.... try to unequip armour AND weapon, part for part, to see, if there is one culprit... don't forget helms/horns etc

 

and it is possible to have CBBE and UNP Bodies installed at the same time, just change the loadingorder, that sometimes CBBE or UNP is the last one to see, if something is changing

 

The last (and for hardest) is just open Outfit Studio... the most forgotten part, since often only Bodyslide is used.... there is a way to change all armour to the needed (used) body and on the internet are howto's/videos how to do it, so you will have correct textures (with collision, weight, right skeleton)

 

Hope, this helps (even it looks like hardcore to solve a texture-problem).

 

for HDT.... try to disable HDT Physics Extensions (SKSE).... go for "btasqan Easy Hawt HDT SMP Physics" ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77445 ) Even there is SMP mentioned, it will work for "vanilla" skyrim, too and avoids many problems of the HDT Physics Extension file.

Hello, I have a problem that the texture of the Chaurus worm parasites is missing, it's a bit purple and should have a whitish colour. Have I forgotten to install any requirements?

I found more issues with the code. The Night Vision effect ended up being replicated more than once.

 

I fixed it in my development version and updated Github if you need to files right away.

I will upload a patch later today.

I am stuck at activating the tonal key device. When I press the button (after inputting the key) a sound effect plays and a dragon spawns, but the quest doesn't advance. I didn't clean up my entire loadorder so another mod is probably interfereing which is why I would like to know what to set the quest to to force it to advance past the tonal key stage.

Apart from some minor jankiness, which has been getting fixed the last few patches, I am thoroughly impressed with the scope and execution of this mod.

 

While I am writing this, a minor suggestion: Quest markers for the different stages of the quest would be awesome as I had to look up locations multiple times, especially in Blackreach.

Which markers are missing? I added them where it made sense (Shrouded Grove, Lightouse, Bottomless pit).

It isn't happening with any other mods.

I'm using LE, and I tried reinstalling XPMSE.  The problem persists.  Also, I noticed that nothing changes if I switch around the alternate meshes - none of the models are different (even the parts that work, like the mask).

I should note, too, that parts of the Queen Full Body looks unusually low-res, compared to the gauntlet/boot/chaurus-on-back parts.

Maybe the folders aren't matching up?  Before extracting the alternate assets, there was no "armor" folder in the Data folder of my directory.  That seemed super strange to me.

 

Also also (as an aside), I use the UNP body, which doesn't jive with the mesh you used for the "frontal protrusions" partway through the quest (some texture misalignment).  Not that that's a game-breaking issue, but I'm curious if you knew about it and/or planned on addressing it later.

It doesn't change once the dragon is dead which is why I am asking. The locations you named also only got marked on my map, not a quest tracker so if that is unusual behaviour my game might be screwing up. I would have liked markers for all the black reach locations as I don't know my way around there.

Maybe something isn't right in how it is configured?

Nope, I'm using NMM (because I'm a stubborn fucker).

But even the .7z for the mod itself doesn't have that folder.  It only has Data/Interface and Data/SEQ.  I've downloaded it twice just to be sure (and I'm using 20210131a).
