I am just not sure why i can't run this mod. I have reinstalled everything from scratch and only downloaded the requirements for it and yet it always crashes when starting a new game. I tried to follow the list order that have been recommended and yet it still doesn't work. At this point I am just disappointed for wasting hours just to not have this single mod to work

Update: saw older posts and one said that older versions worked. tried with 13, 12, 11 and 10. Only v10 works...

YA seems to cause a problem with female khajiit textures, specifically with the right ear. I'm using Feminine Grey Cat and Leopard, which I think is actually CoverKhajiits as far as the head goes.

Feminine Grey Cat alone - fine

Cat Races (2.2) with Feminine Grey Cat - fine

Yiffy Age (13.0) with Feminine Grey Cat - see picture

Edit: I just realised Cat Races doesn't edit khajiit so of course it would be fine

I was just recently testing things with a minimal load order and always got a crash on new game (due to missing NiNode). Installing HDT Physics Extensions helped with that.

No skeleton in HDT PE that I can see, and I tried with and without XPMSE. I definitely crash without HDT with these plugins.

I could have some residual files left over from mod deployments but not sure what those might be. And anyway not a problem for me but maybe the other guy.

I'm having the same issue as tekuusne with the Khajiit ear texture and I cannot for the life of me figure out why it's doing that. Loading up any of the Khajiit head replacers I've tried causes the front of the right ear to have a bizarre texture to it, Coverkhajiits, Better Khajiit, or Khajiit Overhaul all do this, I've tried reinstalling YA, those mods, UNP, XPME just in case, nothing gets rid of it and I am fresh out of ideas. If I remove YA they all work perfectly fine, the moment I readd it and boom, earfunk.

I also have an issue with specifically Khajiit females having blurred torsos but I think that's the Smooth Females extention, not 100% sure so I'm leaving it mentioned here out of frustration.

As a quick fix, try installing this. It restores the relevant file to vanilla (and breaks the YA texture in the process).

I've been trying to edit the esp file because I would like some other changes too, but I'm so confused with what everything does. I think I have a newfound respect for modders now.

Much Appreciated! And yeah modders are unsung heroes. My brief foray into Stellaris modding made me understand that thoroughly, and all I did was try and remove a pre-requisite technology from an event, not even craft something that added or overhauled a system. Yet it broke SO MUCH.

There is already a badger race addon ?? would be very interesting and I think those beautiful animals deserve attention...

No badger race. Some folks have made very nice racoon races.

No Immersive Armors support, and that's really a question for the Skimpy mod anyway. Immersive Armors is a great idea but so janky I can't stand to work on it.

The YA female Khajiit head mesh uses a slightly different texture layout. That's why one ear looks weird.

@Bad Dog

check the YiffyAgeConsolidated.esp, some versions seem to have bad "Leveled NPC" lists in them, it's causing some of the undead skeletons to t-pose.

for some reason even with the mnc patch installed 99% of draugr and all falmer still look the same. i have a feeling this is caused by immersive armors, but i deactivated that and the problem persisted. any ideas?

edit: figured it out, it was caused by immersive creatures

Hey, there's a mod called Paintings and Frames which creates a bunch of paintings and puts them on the wall of Breezehome, and there's another mod on here which replaces them all with gay-themed erotic paintings.

quick question, would you happen to remember the name of the replacer mod, i had it a while ago but i lost it. I've been looking all over for it but no luck, any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Addons" folder in the install drive. "YA_Paintings". That's for the furry replacer, dunno about the human gay replacer.

I found this Mod: Some_video_of_a_fur_mod_for_animals I thought that this kind of fur would bring this mod here 2 a next level. I mean real fur in a furry mod!!! That would be so cool! But idk if this is even possible >_>

Someone already did something similar in another mod. I don't know the first step into making this apply to the furry races, though.

Oh... you are right...

But its only for Khajiit and also only for female ones. There is also no fur on the Head, Neck or throat + it looks only like a simple layer of fur, were the fur of Fluffworks ist placed by hand in the 'right direction'...

If you look closely at some bodyparts, you can see that there is a real direction of growth and sometimes the gravity bends the hairs down how it should do. It looks much more realistic than the stuff from 'Fluffy Khajiit Project'

Also it would look rly odd on yiffy age of skyrim, when only the female Khajiit would have real fur.

But at least it should be possible 2 get some fur on all the furrys... If I just would know how 2 do such kind of stuff...

So I just found this mod and thought it looked like a good laugh and an excuse to play Skyrim again after about 9 years. Had a few quick questions before I jump in though.

I saw a post in the last few pages about using a mod manager. Is there any particular one that is recommend over others for this setup?

Is there a way to play as a human race whilst keeping everyone else as a furry? I had a search through the thread but couldn't find anything.

Does anyone know if this functions correctly with Peril?

Is there anything else I need to know beyond following all the instructions on the main mod page?

Thanks for any help.

The fluffy fur technique is hard to do on heads. Basically you'd need a hair of some sort with lots of extra parts. Doable, but might blow up the engine. Doing it on the bodies is easier.

@ManMcDudeguy 1. Don't use Vortex. You don't have to use a mod manager unless you're going to screw with the mods you have installed a lot. 2. Nope, everybody's furry.  3. Probably.

Mod Organizer 2, definitely.

There's no easy way to do that due to how the mod works and replaces all human(oid) headpart records. Or rather, due to the fact that 99.99% of all custom human(oid) race mods out there use vanilla records (not the same as "assets", mind you) so at best you'll end up with a mouth-less, eye-less human face and magical beast mouth and eyes floating mid-air.

I don't see why it wouldn't.

Not that I know of.

Depending on how committed you are to this and whether you actually need tech support, there's a discord server for the mod (linked in the description as well as my signature) where you may have an easier time finding help, but that's all that comes to mind.

Thanks for the help. Would it be easier to switch one of the races back to human then? I'd probably go for Imperials, for a human vs furry civil war thing. I'm guessing it'd be a lot of switching references back to the default and maybe telling mods not to put sheaths on them or whatever. If that's doable I might try it and keep the changes in its own mod. I'll get details on discord if need be, just interested to know if its doable for now. I'm assuming when it comes to other gameplay mods and such I just need to avoid things that screw with races or NPCs.

It's possible in theory but it would be a fuckton of work.

The vanilla game has several headpart assets be shared between races (instead of them being race-specific), so even if you were to grab a single race (Imperials or otherwise) and change all their stuff to point to human files instead, you'd still get the "mouth-less, eye-less human face and magical beast mouth and eyes floating mid-air" thing. You'd then have to "split" those headparts from the vanilla ones by creating new duplicates that aren't edited by YA and thus still point to human assets, and distribute those parts in place of the original YA-edited ones throughout all NPCs.

I think your best bet is actually trying to use one of the human custom races from "COtR - HQ Characters creation addon for RM", which IIRC uses heads and assets ported from DAZ which may thus be independent from vanilla ones. But I'm not 100% sure.
