Most likely EA didn't like the forums mod section. They had a couple of sub-forums but those didn't last long after EA took over.

also, bug with birth control pills:
when you start play with different family, in the old one sims auto takes them right? but stat is not updating, so when you return to play to old family and sims starts to taking pills they got: "Is On Early Birth Control Pills" status

 

I haven't released the new save system yet. It's still being tested. Thanks @0xAF.

I don't think I make any special exceptions for NPC Sims with how they take birth control pills, so I might need to add some shortcuts for them. I will check.

You don't have to take my word for it, but I do all I can to optimize WickedWhims and provide the best performing mod it can possibly be. The Impressions system is a very unique case for it, as all of the behind the scenes work it does is passive. It only does work when the game itself asks for it.

 

The two main sources of lag for the Impressions system is addition/removal of traits, and addition/removal of relationship bits. This is very important, as my best guess would be that whatever is happening in your game might be related to rapid addition/removal of traits or relationship bits. If that's the case, something seriously fucked up has to be happening in your game. I can see how a lot of mods are doing such operations without even thinking about the performance impact it might be causing, and since WickedWhims hooks itself to these events, it only amplifies the issue. Obviously these are just speculations, but if true, there is nothing I can do about it.

 

Perhaps I should consider creating some kind of user-friendly performance profiling tool. One already exists, it's the "Sims Log Enabler" by Scumbumbo which will list all of the things that are happening in your game, which might help you spot if something wrong is happening in your game.

Turbodriver has fixed the problem on his end.  The problem lies with the 3rd party animations.  Some authors don't care if their Sims are bisexual and therefore males can be placed in female roles.

 

Spending hours and hours blacklisting bisexual animations isn't practical for most players.  I agree, it is a frustrating problem!

 

Turbodriver did say that there will eventually be a way to easily change the gender roles in 3rd party animations.  It will be interesting to see how this is implemented. 

I can't say this will be helpful in all situations, but I have added a command to automatically disable animations with ambiguous gender configuration.

You can try using "ww.disable_ambiguous_animations" but you need to be aware that some animations are meant to be ambiguous and they will get disabled even though they are completely fine. There is no way to know if an animation is badly configured or configured like that on purpose. So be careful with this command.

This is because you have more than one penis rig in your mods folder.  You need to identify the culprit and remove it.  Use the 50/50 rule - remove 50% of your mods until the problem disappears and then slowly add back mods until the problem reappears.  Narrow it down until you identify the culprit.  In most cases it is the old denton rig that causes the issue.

 

I've used the 50/50 rule numerous times also to identify mods that weren't compatible with newer Sims 4 version updates and caused problems in game or even caused the game not to load at all.

 

If you have a penis mod addon, try removing it and use the default WW penis until you get everything working again.  Also try removing any body replacement mods and see if the problem goes away (some use their own rig).  Good luck!

Is the new console command only persistent until you quit the game or change households?  Otherwise there would need to be a way to re-enable ambiguous animations.  I assume it doesn't persist after quitting the game.

 

To clarify, if an animation position is flagged as "BOTH" under the 'animations_genders' setting in the animation XML then it is considered ambiguous, correct?

You have to match Wicked Whims versions with all other addon mods for Wicked Whims including CNWW, Wicked Perversions, etc.  All WW addon mods have to be compatible and updated to support the new version.  You either have to run the old version of WW until they update their WW addon or disable the WW addons until their version is compatible with the latest version of Wicked Whims.

 

Try running Wicked Whims without any addons (remove them from your mods folder) except for animation mods.  This usually fixes the issue.

 

To answer your question, whenever you have mods that have requirements you have to ensure that all the addons are compatible with the master mod before your game is happy and everything works properly.  You have to be patient and wait until the supporting mods are updated to support the latest version of Wicked Whims in this case.

I'm having trouble with the polygamy option.
I have the options of marrying more than two sims activated in the configuration, also the two sims have the feature "polyamorous". but I can't get them married. In past versions I didn't have the problem but I stopped playing for a while and now that I've updated, I can't do it anymore.

Hey, recently WW is slowing down my game whenever my sim starts having sex with any one. Any one have any idea why is this happening?

when i got this new update i saw that the sims tongues and dicks are floating in air and before this update it was perfectly fine. i updated all my big game mods and the same thing is happing. Also i dont know is this cuz of WW but i can not make a social event.  The past updates for WW have been wonky I wonder whats going on. But if someone can help me with all of this that would be nice.
