Possible issues:

 

Did you remove All of the older files for WW?  Most likely the case.  Make sure you do not have outdated package files for that and check your SAVES folder there could be a glitch and the folder for WW placed there.

I'm actually very interested in a feature like this as well, or some other in-game workaround. Possibly something that would toggle WW options from viewable to hidden so that when I'm playing, if my kids happen to be around and look at my game (as they sometimes do), I'll be able to play the same save game without messing up any options/data. I really wouldn't need the mod to be "off", just it's options hidden from view when clicking on objects or sims. :smile:

 

right! That's really all I need, a way to hide it. I really wish there was a feature like that.

If you are having trouble with the mod please do this and it will clear what is causing it not to show... I did this and it clear somethings so I did it again then started my game up and it is working now.

Quick question - love the mod, btw!

 

I don't seem to be able to get pregnant via this mod.  Well, this mod's added acts.

 

I set it to flat % (in the no, menstrual cycle, use % option), and set PC % to 100% (and 95% a bit later).  And don't use birth control, etc.  No matter how many times I try, no pregnancy happens.  Using the Woohoo Try For Baby is the only way I've been able to get a PC sim impregnated (I have NPCs set to 0 so no idea if they are working or not).

 

Not a huge issue, really.  But just wondering if there's a set of settings that have to be set just right or not.

it says to always remove all files before installing new versions, does that mean our save files too? I hate having to redo my settings every time I download the new version

Hi. I used wicked whims until Cats and Dogs and then it didn't work anymore. The big problem back then was that I wasn't able to save the game if I allowed script mods, and I still have that problem. I have now the newest version of wicked whims and I deleted all old files (I think I got them all), but it is still not working. When I turn on the game, I get a orange message from wicked whims telling me it's a new version, so the mod is installed; however, there are no wicked whims actions in the game. The symbol doesn't show anywhere. 

 

Is it because of the new game pack? Or have I been sloppy in removing the old files? I hope any of you have any tips, because I really miss using this mod. ;)

Hey, my WW isn't working right now, either. It's not showing up at all. (No welcome message, nothing when you click on your sims, other sims, or objects, etc.) I'm attaching my last exception file, if it works, I hope that helps. It worked last night, so IDK what else to do.

 

Troubleshooting I've done so far:

 

-Removed all other mods and tested again

-Deleted WW mod files (all, I know) and redownloaded newest version (pretty sure was the same though)

-Made sure the download setup files were not included (never were) in mod folder

-Removed all CC and tested again

-Made sure game was updated via Origin

-Did "repair" option on game via Origin

Did I do something to it, or does it just need to be fixed again now that Jungle Adventures has come out??

No, you need to remove all Wicked Whims files before updating.

I think you may still be misunderstanding.  You do not need to remove anything except the previous Wicked Whims mod files you downloaded.  Currently, there are three files; TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package, TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Scripts.ts4script, ww_cas_parts.json

 

No other files need to be removed (unless you also downloaded penis or tongue rigs).  All your other mods are safe.  All your save games are safe.

Hey Turbo, apologies for this but I couldn't find the thread for your other mod Intersex. But since the Jungle Adventures patch the intersex option is no longer showing up. I have pulled out all of my mods but that one just to make sure and it still doesn't show up. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I just want to say what amazing work you are doing. I can't imagine all the headache getting this mod to run all of it's things in the background and deal with the mess of code EA throws in every patch.

The WW file in your save folder is just your settings for WW. you don't have to remove that. (only remove it if you are making a clean save).

You DO have to remove the WW files in your Mods folder.

So I've updated the game today, re-enabled script mods, I don't have the new game pack, and I removed all the WW files (including the ones that were in my saves) that were in my game for the new one and still nothing has worked. Literally, nothing shows up in game, it's like it's not even installed. If someone could help or explain whats going on then that would be great :smile: (i also have a mac)
