Agreed, since the blanket "all rigs must be removed" is not always true,depending on case. I still have the "Rigged" for Noir's and the NANDONG head default overrides. As Turbos "rigs" are only for the default option. But since I read all I knew what I needed and what to dump.

 

But I think it is not really hard to understand "remove ALL old WW files when installing a new version".

Don't confuse "rig" with "rigged", they aren't the same thing.

A "rig" is an archive that adds custom bones that didn't exist in the game before. "Rigged" makes reference to those mods whose meshes have been adapted to work with the custom bones added by the rig.

Hey, can I get some help? I've read and understand everything on the main page, my WW works great, my Sims and random sims are having sex and getting naked all the time! I just have this one issue I can't figure out that may not just be me being stupid. I think it's possible the noir pornstar cock mod is somehow conflicting with WW or just Sims in general after some elimination, and also I don't know how to read last exception files and would like to eliminate the mods causing issues in my game, but don't know how to do that without knowing which ones! I've posted about this same topic multiple times and gotten no help...

Whenever I try to access WickedWhims' settings, I get a notification about some last exception and then, well, nothing. So I can't get the mod to work properly. I included 2 text files because I'm not really sure which one you need to see and I personally can't make any sense of either, anyway. I removed all my mods that were created/last edited before 2018 to no avail, so any help would be appreciated!!

Help please i click on a door and select random and my sim stuck there, and then abandon the current animation.

Other times are when i do random whims and i don't even know why it spam errors.

The Patreon version is always the newest release.  I don't think there are exclusive features, but I could be wrong.  I just think you get things earlier and get to try out new functions before he releases it here.

Back on topic.... so just to give a heads up.... using the auto installer... it can not find my "electronic arts" folder.... my path goes libaries/documents/my documents/electronic arts

 

not a big deal but for some it may confuse them, for me i just manual install instead.

I am not singling you out @Excorsion. This is directed at all sides of this issue.

 

Here is a good rule of thumb...

• Read the OP completely. If there are any questions r/t to the OP ... ask for clarification. Use some quotes etc to show you have giving some effort to try to work things out. It is greatly appreciated (by modders and many I know that provide support;))
• Read the last two pages, minimum (preferably 3) for any info that pertains to your problem. Do a quick check to see if someone else posted a similar problem if so check that.
• THEN post.

There is no need to read "359 pages". In fact, that could cause you problems as many problems might have already been solved and in the case of this mod, there are parts that are no longer relevant No, just read the OP and understand it, and check the last two pages (three is nicer but... ) then ask the question. That usually solves many of the issues most have including the issue with penis and other things that have been asked and asked again.

 

The above is my suggestion and it has done me well. Also, doing so means that I usually get a response to my quest from someone many times in a hour or less. It is polite response, with many times their willingness to follow up with any other questions related to that one that I run into as I work out the issue. In the past the author of the mods (including this one) have even taken the issue to PM to help keep the thread clean as the problem is worked through. Same goes for many great individuals that provided me support. This is in part due to my serious attempt at working to resolve the issues I have by doing the above. In my experience people are willing to go the extra mile for those that really try to put in the effort. (mod content creation, bug solving, conflict issues, installation problems you name it.)

 

I do agree with you in that it isn't called for someone to be mean or rude in responses... (Again, not directed at any single person) they can ignore what is bothering them, however, I hope you also understand the flip side. that someone keeping on saying the same thing over and over (in the most recent post a page back or even on the SAME PAGE sometimes RIGHT ABOVE THE POST THEY MADE!!!!) getting seriously frustrated. This shows no attempt of the poster to even try to resolve the issue.

 

This is a two way street and requires both sides to be calm and understanding and willing to go the extra steps to help themselves or in the case of others, patience.

Last I played this I believe it is possible to get any "valid" character pregnant regardless of their relationship with each other. Hope that helps.

question: is there a way to turn off Wicked Whims without removing the mod? I let my sister play the game on my computer, but I have to remove WW before letting her play, and when I put it back it resets all my settings which is kinda annoying. Is there a way to temporarily disable it without losing progress? Even if it requires a game restart?

If she has a separate save, it's essentially a completely different "world".  You can turn off mods altogether in the options when she's playing.  Or you can move everything from your WW mods folder out, let her play her own save, then move it back and it shouldn't have affected your game at all.  I, personally, think the "safest" option would be to have to separate installs of Sims4 so never the twain shall meet.

well, she doesn't have a computer so we can't go that route. 

 

Honestly it'd be nice to turn off WW once in a while and just play the game as is, and then bring it back when I want to. It gets kinda distracting to see WW's option on everything I click. Sometimes, I just want to sit on a chair. Especially when I'm playing young teens, I don't wanna think about them that way. What I end up doing is taking it out and in, but the fact that settings and progress is lost is frustrating.
