I spent time going through mods folder and couldnt find any culprit. I hadnt added any mods other than Nisa and WW. However, I had added a couple of CAS custom sims and those werent the issue either. I finally deleted current version of WW and just for shits I put the July 2 version of WW and everything was back to normal and didnt even get the outdated headline when starting a new game or one of my saved games.

 Same with me...once i went back everything worked fine... so something they did in the newest patch has messed up their mod for their body selector... I suspect they need to look at the occult lines when it comes to body selector....would be a dead give away that would be a good place to start. To the people saying... it must be bad CC conflicting.... with so much cc out there the mod makers need to be aware that they are gone to run into issues where they are conflicting with existing cc and not demand that the other CC who are making money off their creations too are the ones to blame... just say conflicts with this and move on or just try not to cause conflicts. the heavy handed attitude some are giving off like their mod takes priority over everyone else is getting out of hand... many folks are here trying to make money...

I have used the updated Wicked Whims file each time, but every time I logged into the game it said said, "I guess you like broken mods! Update!" even though I had upated to the latest version every time!

I've had the same other mods for a while, and updated the animations I use, although I do not use many mods besides animations, no culling, and some accessories like tattoos, t-shirts and hairstyles.

I logged in today and getting critical error message: cannot retrieve important saved data, and I've only ever had that before when it was a Wicked Whims file specific issue. That was a couple of years ago since that happened, and it was also about critical saved data for sims. I can load in fine. I can even recover a save fine and load it to main screen in-game but when I try to go to a lot all Sims are gone. It's frustrating, of course, because you worry you will never get your precious Sims, families and lots again. 

If deleting the "updated" WW mod file and replacing with the older one doesn't work, the only option currently is to disable all mods, which I don't want to do. I just want to play my Sims as I've made them, though I really appreciate and do contribute to modders work, especially after 10K played and I also make mods. Just for lots and houses/estates.

Update!
Yes, removing the most recent Wicked Whims update and using the older version allowed my game/save to load regularly so I could at least save again, and stop losing data and wasting time.

Hey are the SimHub photos supposed to stay in my inventory after I upload them? I can't get rid of them so are they supposed to just stay in the inventory?

 

Specifically it's the instant pics taken during sex. I took another separate pic after and it was deleted after uploading.

I have to use the batch select option to delete/move certain items in my sims inventory, including SimHub photos if there are two or more in a stack. If you've tried that and it still doesn't work, I don't have a solution. Maybe try moving your sim's inventory to household inventory with MCCC cleaner and deleting from there, but that can be pretty annoying.

I have clean "No CC" versions of all my favorite lots uploaded to my EA account, not to share them, although I don't mind showing off, but more so I can always download a clean version if it might be necessary. I backup my tray to an external hard drive from time-to-time as well, but you're never paranoid enough. It's also pretty fun just to browse my own catalog sometimes and see just how truly bad my earliest creations really were. I have a few sims uploaded as well, but it's so hard to remove all the custom content from sims that I have to really, really like the way they look unmodded before I'll go to the trouble.

 

Anyway, they are precious, huh? 😛

wdym by batch select option? will try, so far been trying to click and drag the photos in case that's similar?

 

edit: It worked! there was a button top right of inventory for multi select. Sold old pics thanks a lot!

About missing Body Selector

Same here - do you have any other mods installed?

If you do, can you test with only WickedWhims, no other mods?

Had the same problem

the (problematic) tree was 

Wicked -> Personalization -> Anatomy & Clothing -> Change Sims /Underwear/Strapon/Genitals

 

Tried with WW only, no other mods, works fine, the tree is

Wicked -> Personalization -> Body & Clothing -> Body Selector

 

found the culprit - a quite massive mod called ´WAGNER HOUSE NOT PREGNANT´ . To be exact the mod contained a sims3melancholic_body highlight n8 package. Removing this package cured the problem

 

Which means that the source for other users problems may be some other conflicting/incompatible mod/package

I want to ask, is there a way to make sims always reject sex unless their romantic relationship or friendship is above a certain level? at the moment, i can just ask any stranger to have sex with me and almost all of them agree.

It would be great if there was a difficulty setting which would make sex an achievement. It's not just too easy atm, there is no challenge at all. Takes the fun out of it, in my opinion.

I've done the same thing only I didn't want total strangers able to do the deed so easily.

 

First thing is to go into WW Settings/Sex Settings/Cheats, and disable 'Always Accept' setting, (should be no green bars).

 

Next is changing the Relationship Modifier Scores...

WW Settings/Sex Settings/Relationship Settings:

Player to NPC Sims Relationship Modifier: (set to -2.0 to -5.0 to start)

(I have mine set to -2.0 but it seems certain Sims will ask for sex at a lower relationship anyway)

 

Note: Sims need a 2.15 relationship score to make sex pairs.

Note: You'll have to experiment with the negative numbers to find your sweet spot.

Note: If any Sims have the 'Sexually Alluring' or 'Unique Appearance' traits they will boost the scores like a cheat.

thanks for this... i was always confused about what that setting did... i thought it would change how many romance or friendship points sims would gain if they had sex.

do you know how much these traits boost? i do have the unique appearance trait.

Can't remember which one but one of them adds 10 points I think.

 

Pause your game and look in your sims 4 folder where Mods are located.

Look for the WickedWhimsInfoLog.Log file and open it.

Scroll down to the bottom and work back up to see the real time sex log with names and sex scores, etc.

It's slightly delayed though.

Now you can see your played sims sex scores along with NPCs

 

I'd recommend you get rid of that trait as it will just prevent you from doing what you're after.

Never could figure out how to make it work right when my sim had those traits.

 

You can use it on other sims to turn them into sluts that will bang anybody but keep in mind they will go after your player too.

Best if there are other NPCs around to keep them busy.

 

Also WW Attraction settings can affect sex scores too, I think.

I only have the first box enabled and the rest are disabled now.

Had to go back to all boxes enabled in Attractions as my female sims started trying to romance other female visitors.

Even though all their other CAS settings were set for straight and male only romance/woohoo.

Plus MCCC Gender Preference was set to 100% males, 0% females, for those females.

 

Sims living in the same household seem to have a different way of scoring from what I've seen anyway.

Thanks for sharing this info!! In all my searching I never could find any mod to be the issue. I did insatall a couple custom CAS sims and those were not the issue either. However after  seeing your post I searched my mods folder and found that particular file in three locations. They were in older custom CAS sims I had downloaded from Red Arrow. I ended up just removing those files and kept the custom sims. It did change their appearance slightly but not much. SO if you download any Red Arrow custom sims be sure to check for that file.

Have a secondary household set one up. It can be a bit time consuming. You'll need to build the lot and then have them buy it. I hire a couple of the family as dancers. Usually one as the bartender. I start by hiring teens as dancers and as the sims age to elder, I have them quit and hire a younger one to replace them.  If you want to use it as a brothel, add several bedrooms and use NWP to make the dancers prostitute. You'll need to have the owner set the bedroom doors to lock for all but Escort Business or the clients will be using them with each other. Once it is up and running then go back to playing your regular household. Just stop in once in a while to take control and replace aging dancers.

oh dang didn't know it would take that much setup haha. i have ageing disabled so that should be nice at least. do you have any strip club/brothel venue you can share?

am i blind or the option to disable undressing for sex via shift click menu doesn't exist anymore? it was so useful when combining ww with nisa wp to not have to redress the hoes after each client...
