Hello, I installed the new version of Wicked Whims 183a, and it works, but the hotkey for changing animations does not work, my key is set to F by default, I tried changing it to another button, it still does not work, what could be the problem?

For years now in my WW scenes; one of the actors always loses environmental light shading over their model. One actor will be properly lit by the light objects in the room/outdoors, while the other actor always looks like they are in a completely dark room. Is this a known issue? Or conflict related?

 

Edit: It is specific to a slot, if you swap actors, whoever takes that one slot receives no light shading over their model. Whoever got swapped to another slot/role suddenly receives light effects.

I've never had this issue, and I've also been using WW for years (both with and without graphics mods), so I'm guessing it's some kind of conflict. Do you have any mods that are meant to change lighting, shading, etc. I know there are some out there that still "work" but haven't been updated in a long time so one of those might be the culprit. It could also have something to do with your in-game graphics settings and/or your computer's capabilities but I'll be honest that I have 0 idea how to check or address any of that lol

how do i remove this lovestruck bs? I used to have sex with any sim, now they are greyed out. I used to have female sim i only made her loyal to my character, however i made her to not get jealous or don't mind my sim having sex with other girls infront of her, and i let my female sim have sex with any female, now it just doesn't let me. If someone can help me get the setting to how they used to, i will be really thankfull.

hey! sure!! thank you so much for trying to help i havent palyed in a few days so ill have to get in my game first. and ill update ww first, but also some ww mods like nisas wicked pickerversions havent been updated in over a month and i wonder if those would cause issues too. 

 

if it happens again ill message you (if thats okay) and send you the reports. the BE report happens in game whenever i try to move or have sex. i do remember tho, that whatever i clicked on, it would then cause the tuning packages list in better exception to appear, which was weird.  so like even WW tuning package. so i hope updating it now will fix it! it only started happening out of the blue while i was playing, but it did happen after sometime later after i placed new cc (although it was fine at first and nothing happened) so just to be safe i removed every piece of the new cc. idk if that helps but yeah.

There are some mods that could help. First, Andirz has a mod that makes all Sims pansexual again, effectively getting rid of the sexual and romantic orientation preferences Sims generate with now (link: https://andirz.itch.io/make-all-sims-pansexual-again).

As for the jealousy thing, double-check your WW settings and make sure jealousy is disabled there. I can't remember where exactly it is, but I think it's under sex settings and then relationship settings? If it's still a problem (my Sims are monogamous so I have no idea how the jealousy settings work with Lovestruck), Lumpinou has a mod with which you can change specific Sims' "Romantic Boundaries", though you'll have to do this with any Sim you want to get rid of those for; I can't find a better solution at the moment. i removed the jealousy and it still happens, turns out WW added a moodlet that is based on the preferences of the character which i do not want to remove. I guess i'll be downloading an older version. Even when i remove the jealosy i want my girl to have sex with another and she's greyed out, every other is greyed out. I guess i'll use older version until this gets resolved, i hate when devs put such options, WW was perfect the way it was.

That's very odd. Just out of curiosity, what preference is it that's making it not work? You don't have to tell me the specific one, I just mean like what system? The only "preferences" I can think of with WW is the attractiveness system but it would be weird for that to make user-directed actions grayed-out. I can't test because my Sims are "Eternally Faithful" and so can't have any kind of romantic or sexual interaction with other Sims lol. Unless you're using that attribute, but it's always made it so Sims can't romantically or sexually interact with those they're not in a relationship with so I doubt that's the one if it used to work.

Also maybe if you mention the specific feature causing a problem here, someone who knows more about the mod and its development can tell us whether this is a known issue, an intended feature, etc. and possibly how to circumvent it.

Wicked > Settings > Relationship Settings > Relationship Utilities

 

Uncheck all of the Lovestruck options. There should be other WW settings that should counter Lovestruck's B.S. but I don't have his issue.

yeah i got only her to be eternally faithful, but before i could have sex with whoever i choose even with that option, also i removed jealosy but she still got it. It feels messed up so i stopped testing it, before my sim even always watched when i had sex with another and even got positive moodlets out of it.

Okay, that's odd that it would allow sex before. I'm a bit curious why you want the attribute if your Sim is going to be having sex with other Sims, though, because my understanding is the whole purpose of the attribute is to prevent any kind of non-monogamy happening, autonomously or otherwise. If you're trying to avoid romantic autonomy outside of the relationships you want or something, there are mods to do that – sims4me has one oddly called "Disable Cheaty Romance Socials" that allows you to do this on a per-Sim basis.

i'm afraid of being cucked and with other women i don't mind it. One time i saw my character automatically married to some random npc (cuz sims4 is an amazing game), which pissed me off. I have disabled autonomy completely, but just to be sure i added that trait as well.

Hi people, after the last update the parties are not as intense as they were. It used to be a none stop orgy, 30 or more sims going to town at once back-to-back. Now only 3 or 4 couples at a time and long pauses without any action. Has anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it? Thanks for your time.

A few issues I've run into:

   1) I had a headless sim show up named "WickedSim MenuIcon" that could be greeted but had no shift+click options, and so couldn't be removed (reloaded a save and haven't seen it since).

   2) Werewolves don't have a soft penis option in the body selector. I've seen other people with the same issue, and people showing that there is supposed to be one, but it's missing entirely for me.

   3) I have teex sex enabled, adult-teen relationships enabled, the innaproriate unlock .package in the same folder as the wicked whims .package and .ts4script (The Sims 4\Mods\WickedWhimsMod), and all teens have the post-puberty trait, but all teens are still excluded from all sex interactions.

I've been having an issue with WW (v183a) ever since a recent update. I'm currently on the 1.28.2025 update, although I had the same issue on the update from a couple weeks ago.

 

At the moment, the only mod I have installed is WW, and the WW files are exactly 1 nesting level deep (i.e. Mods/subfolder/TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Scripts.ts4script). I start a new game with a fresh character, and immediately on starting I am met with the screen that says "cannot load WW script files, they must be 1 nesting level deep" or whatever. None of the WW functions appear in the menu like I'd expect if it was working correctly However, all of the initial install notifications (such as the one which says that the latest version changed how birth control works) display in the top right as usual.

 

In lastException.txt there's a series of errors that look like this over and over:

The first error always complains about associated_bucks_type. The second error complains abut several other classes like sims4.tuning.instances.TURBODRIVER:WickedWhims_Perk_StripClub_HasActiveDancingDancer, sims4.tuning.instances.TURBODRIVER:WickedWhims_Perk_StripClub_DisabledTrashlets, etc.

 

Any thoughts?
