problems ive encountered, return of the infinite load screen ( DX11 found to be the cause of this...AGAIN!) , DX11 causing question marks all over terrain on world maps (enabling DX9 fixes this tho) it appears the full implementation of DX11 by EA is again wreaking havoc on mods and gameplay, thank god the option to choose DX9 is added in the game settings or this really would be unusable now.

mine was turned off but the EA app ignored it and updated it anyway, seems like they programmed it to do that on purpose

The only way to stop the game from updating is to start it up in offline mode.

Unfortunately, the EA app forces you to be online to start it. So to stop it from trying to update, you'll have to disconnect your own internet AFTER running the EA app. That should allow you to play the game in offline mode and should stop from trying to update. Make sure you turn off auto update in the settings ASAP.

I'd made a full copy of my Sims 4 installation folder a week ago to try this and it worked.

 

Even if the game updates itself and even if you ran it you can revert by:

Putting Steam into Offline mode.

Putting the EA client into offline.

Deleting current install folder and copying the backup into it.

Editing the text file  documents\ea\sims 4\gameversion.txt to be the old version string.  (If you don't do this the launcher will complain and fail)

Thats strange, because mine is running even better than before! 177+ fps on average for 2k dx11 all ultra settings! before the update it looked horrendous.

its shocking honestly, the graphics looks worse than a master system 2, cant even read the writing but as soon as i disable it and go back to dx9 works perfect, the same thing happened after the lovestruck update but they fixed that and i was able to run dx11 just fine so it seems like as usual they screwed something up

First, TY for the update.

Second, I've had this problem that has been going on for several iterations and patches.  Some of my dance floors do not show the full range of interactions.  These are EA dance floors, not CC.  Any ideas what's causing this??

I'm having the same exact issue, for me the option to remove top or bottom doesn't even show up, and changing custom outfits during sex also doesn't work, plus the condom textures aren't appearing for me when the sim is wearing it.

Yeah, I'm having issues with undressing. Sims will automatically undress, but their clothes stay on, I guess? It's hard for me to describe.

Anyone else experiencing issues with Error 204 on the EA App? I can't even open the game in Offline Mode because of this.

If some of your saves are not loading since last S4 update (infinite loading screen after selecting save file), try going to main menu options, and checking Direct X 9 back on. Restart the game, and try to load your saves. Doing this made mine load again. I have absolutely no idea what caused the conflicts, whether it be mods or my machine. Either way, I am playing S4 again!

 

+ Verified that a clean new save will load with Direct X11, but my played saves that have a ton of CC items present (clothing, makeup, decorations, furniture) will not load. My guess is any mods that have a visual impact on the game may in some ways not be compatible with Direct X 11.

Männer aufgeführt!? Da ich in letzter Zeit schon Speicherprobleme hatte aufgrund einer zu hohen Speicherdatei, bitte ich Sie unnütze Infoeinträge für die Sims 4 zu unterlassen. Auch würde ich mir wünschen,daß
sie die WW-Animationen von einigen WW-Erstellern aus Ihren Mod entfernen, da man diese separat herunterladen kann. Ich habe daher einige dieser Animationen doppelt im Spiel. Manchmal ist weniger mehr für das Spiel; daran hätte sich auch EA halten sollen.
Nicht umsonst kommt EA mit der Bearbeitung von Bugs nicht mehr hinterher.

Aren't animations supposed to autoplay and change animations until the climax? My sim just stays on the first animation and never changes position/animation.
 

Is this a bug? I'm on the latest WW for v1.109 with WW Inappropriate Unlock. Also, I do have several animations downloaded.

The new version of WW did fix this issue for me.

Have you checked your sex progression settings? There is an option to never change position without player input. Check here:

 

Wicked... > Settings > Sex Settings > Sex Interaction Settings > Sex Progression Settings > Sex Animations Progression

 

The last two menus (Sex Progression and Sex Animations Progression) allow you to choose how you want sex to progress.

Yeah, it's either complete undressing or the cloths stay on without any options for undressing them, don't exactly know why this is happening, I don't have any mods that might conflict with this functionality.

Could be the case, I haven't updated my game in fear of something else breaking, I might try updating to see if everything works again. I'm currently on version 1.108.349.1020.

I just updated the game along with all my core mods that I though could potentially break, most of them had no updates since they were working on the latest version of 109. Everything in my game seems to be working well for now, I'll play a bit more and see if anything breaks, doubt it will.

@TURBODRIVER Is there a plan to bring incest back to the mod? At least so it doesn't override the "always accept", like when you ask a sim to join group.
