Hallo Zusammen
Ich habe ein Problem. Seit einiger Zeit funktioniert die Speicherung der Namens- und Rollenänderung für verschiedene Autoren nicht mehr. Betroffen sind SexyLunella und Motherlodsims. Es liegt nicht an die Vielzahl von Animationen. Das habe ich schon ausprobiert. Also, genau passiert folgendes. Im Spiel klappt die Speicherung. Sobald ich das Spiel beende und später wieder neu starte, Sind meine Änderungen wieder weg.
Danke fürs Lesen. Und Danke im Voraus für Tipps.

If you want assistance, you need to be more specific about the problem. Also, we don't have a clue what mods you are using besides Wicked Whims, so if you want to know what needs to be updated, you need to search the mods you have to see if they are updated, compatible, or broken. Look in the Wicked Whims Technical thread or the TS4 technical thread and its likely you'll find someone has the same problem and it's been resolved.

just a quick one has anyone else experienced the no traits option in cas i think its traits the category under the main one to chose if you are an academic but cant add if my character is neat or whatever  i can do it individually in the shift+ click section on main game play but not in cas i was wondering if it was another mod that was conflicting thanks again for the update! 
 

The "Add To All Categories" was added by EA.

My WW is having problems initiating sex. The sims disappear and a series of error alert messages begin to appear. I can only stop by clicking ''reset object''. I have updated the game and WW to the new version. Even to save the game too, it goes back to the beginning. Could anyone help me?

My suggestion is to put the mods, saves and tray folder on your desktop, run a "repair game" from the EA app, put you folders back and see if that helps.

ive got it back now, its definitely some cc thats causing it some because after leaving all the mods in and removing just animations and CC i could see the romance bar and past relationships again so its going to be a long night figuring out wtf it actually is lol

Hello guys, everything is working mostly fine except the stripclub. Some clients come in but most of them are just waiting outside. So it's working better than before the update but still not fine. Is there anyone experiencing the same issue or a way to solve it ? Thanks !

I'm guessing you have the latest version, but that's the first thing to check (a lot of people didn't realize it updated a day or two after the first update). The strip club trait might be the issue itself. The lots are generic and have to have that trait to work, so maybe that's the problem. Lovestruck patches screwed so badly with the CAS traits, and I'd imagine that it affected all traits.

I tried on a new save and it's working way better, I guess that my stripclub on my main save that has been created on the previous version of WW is broken,  I will try to erase it and create it again. Thanks for your help

Does it recover if you give it some time? I found that sometimes my sims also disappear when the animations are first played, there is an exception raised, but if I wait like 10 seconds, it all continues.

BetterExceptions did a scan right after the last patch, and flagged almost all of my animations as missing some tunings. But it has not stopped WW from working. Just makes it appear laggy sometimes. Primarily on animation initiation.

For best results, I think we should all treat our existing saves as "corrupted" post this update due to how much EA has mucked with the fundamentals of the game. I doubt it is possible to 100% fix all issues no matter how much the mods get updated. I get that most of us have save files that are years old, and I think choosing to continue playing them is a "at your own risk" endeavor.

Im pretty new to modding on Sims 4, a few weeks, so I still discovers things lol. It's true that everything is working way better on this new save, but it still playable on my older save.

I thought someone earlier said that the 8.8.2024 update broke CAS? If it's just the Strip Club-related content then I'll just update my game, I don't touch the strip club stuff anyway.

Some CC need updates more than others. CAS (clothing) and BB (furniture) CC usually don't need updating. Everything with functions (objects with interactions tied to them) are more vulnerable to updates. Mods with script mods tied to them (MCCC, WW, Carl's mod etc) are usually very sensitive to updates. If you open your game, there should be a list of mods. If you scroll to the bottom, the script mods are listed. Check for updates for all of them.

Yeah, I went through this pain and suffering too right after 108.349 patch. This patch is a good and a bad thing at the same time, it's good because it creates a new category for eyelashes, it's bad because now every eyelash mod needs to be updated and placed in a separate category, not to mention that the eyelashes will always appear misplaced even if you get the no eyelashes mod, there are some that appear fine and I'm gonna mention the ones that are working ok for me at least, all TwistedCat, Dreamgirl, and NOCTIS eyelashes  appear ok, every other eyelash is misplaced but some work ok if you place like an eyeliner above and below the eyelid. Hopefully previous eyelash modders update their mods or overhaul their existing ones and new ones create eyelashes keeping this new category in mind, some modders that I've seen are already creating eyelashes keeping this in mind so it's not all bad I guess.

Also don't bother trying to fix broken Eyelashes yourselves. Using S4S to recategorize eyelashes to the new Eyelash Makeup Slot can be done but does NOT fix those with the alignment issue. Mod Authors owning those eyelashes are to fix them, they will likely recategorize them to the new CAS cat as well.

Sims autonomously flirting with each other (as they always have), but now they get a negative reaction from it (i.e. two females).... yet keep doing it. Why? 

I think I have seen this before and managed to disable this either by WW or MCC, but now with this major attraction overhaul... I am puzzled. This negative reaction or ignoring sexual orientation can be disabled right?

 

I honestly never gave a fuck about attraction/orientation settings, and been fine with any thing goes. Any one able to help?

i have spent all day narrowing down the cause of my infinite loading screens when entering CAS from a loaded household and it seems Wicked Whims is causing this. I am running the newest version. What is the reason?

Apologies if I am about to rehash several obvious, already stated, tried efforts, but... 

Again, this Lovestruck update changed a lot of things in CAS. 

  • Changes to the sexual orientation menu
  • Changes (removal) of Attraction likes/dislikes 
  • Added UI features (apply to all, eyelash category) 

If you have any mods that touch any of this stuff and have NOT updated them, you will likely run into issues like the one you are having. 

There are mods other than WW on this site that touch traits, add cas stuff, touch UI elements. Check those. Also make sure you updated your core mods such as "More CAS Columns", UI Cheats Extension", "MCC". I have all these mods and WW up to date along with 1,000s of CC CAS items and experience no load issues. 

 

Another issue it could be (but probably not) is related to error code 123. Of which I still need this mod to remedy it or else I get infinite load screens when traveling to community lots. Give this mod a shot if you don't have it.

kijiko has patched and fixed all hers i can confirm they work as well now , twistedcats work as well like you mentioned, all i need is MMSIMS to do hers, i deleted the rest it was just too much work

yeh i figuered that out lol s4s did more harm than good, it did just recatorgorise stuff instead of fixing them, i finally got kijiko's as i use hers the most so thanks for the links :) are MMSIMS updated now because there the ones i need the most i deleted other creators for now.
