Yeah, I went through this pain and suffering too right after 108.349 patch. This patch is a good and a bad thing at the same time, it's good because it creates a new category for eyelashes, it's bad because now every eyelash mod needs to be updated and placed in a separate category, not to mention that the eyelashes will always appear misplaced even if you get the no eyelashes mod, there are some that appear fine and I'm gonna mention the ones that are working ok for me at least, all TwistedCat, Dreamgirl, and NOCTIS eyelashes  appear ok, every other eyelash is misplaced but some work ok if you place like an eyeliner above and below the eyelid. Hopefully previous eyelash modders update their mods or overhaul their existing ones and new ones create eyelashes keeping this new category in mind, some modders that I've seen are already creating eyelashes keeping this in mind so it's not all bad I guess.

Fixes for 3D eyelashes are available for some creators, links below. ONLY DOWNLOAD if you are on the latest Sims 4 version (8/8/24):

 

Also don't bother trying to fix broken Eyelashes yourselves. Using S4S to recategorize eyelashes to the new Eyelash Makeup Slot can be done but does NOT fix those with the alignment issue. Mod Authors owning those eyelashes are to fix them, they will likely recategorize them to the new CAS cat as well.

Sims autonomously flirting with each other (as they always have), but now they get a negative reaction from it (i.e. two females).... yet keep doing it. Why? 

I think I have seen this before and managed to disable this either by WW or MCC, but now with this major attraction overhaul... I am puzzled. This negative reaction or ignoring sexual orientation can be disabled right?

 

I honestly never gave a fuck about attraction/orientation settings, and been fine with any thing goes. Any one able to help?

i have spent all day narrowing down the cause of my infinite loading screens when entering CAS from a loaded household and it seems Wicked Whims is causing this. I am running the newest version. What is the reason?

Apologies if I am about to rehash several obvious, already stated, tried efforts, but... 

Again, this Lovestruck update changed a lot of things in CAS. 

  • Changes to the sexual orientation menu
  • Changes (removal) of Attraction likes/dislikes 
  • Added UI features (apply to all, eyelash category) 

If you have any mods that touch any of this stuff and have NOT updated them, you will likely run into issues like the one you are having. 

There are mods other than WW on this site that touch traits, add cas stuff, touch UI elements. Check those. Also make sure you updated your core mods such as "More CAS Columns", UI Cheats Extension", "MCC". I have all these mods and WW up to date along with 1,000s of CC CAS items and experience no load issues. 

 

Another issue it could be (but probably not) is related to error code 123. Of which I still need this mod to remedy it or else I get infinite load screens when traveling to community lots. Give this mod a shot if you don't have it.

kijiko has patched and fixed all hers i can confirm they work as well now , twistedcats work as well like you mentioned, all i need is MMSIMS to do hers, i deleted the rest it was just too much work

yeh i figuered that out lol s4s did more harm than good, it did just recatorgorise stuff instead of fixing them, i finally got kijiko's as i use hers the most so thanks for the links :) are MMSIMS updated now because there the ones i need the most i deleted other creators for now.

dx11 was my cause for the infinite loadscreen, disabling it solved everything, it may or may not work for you as everyones systems and mod usage are different but worth a shot

MMSims listed in the links there is to her latest update. Looks like she updated her entire collection (or at least a bunch). I have all those updated mods provided in my links and collectively gave me ~20 fixed lashes to chose from which is pretty good.

Lmao, right? I don't get why EA forced this BS on us. I did not buy the new DLC, but still have to deal with the fallout. I had a sim out on an event and one of the sims he had flirted with before came by and embraced him. Suddenly a line of three other sims who he had flirted with formed to slap him. Like WTF? Why is the jealousy enabled to such a ridiculous level by default?

Wish I had a better solution for you. Try reinstalling the latest version of WW again, but Delete (not overwrite) the old version. Also create a copy of your SettingsProfile to your desktop, found in your Saves>WW folder (just in case you lose your old WW settings. And reinstall WW. Also assuming you are on the Sims patch version that came out on 8/8. Also you could see if Better Exceptions tells you more info.

Did not work. Starting a new save with the exact same mod setup worked tho. Only my current ones seem to have an issue

Do you have any custom traits installed?

Don't know if you saw my previous post, but I found that any of my sims that have custom traits won't let me open CAS. Other sims in the same family will let you open it, but opening it with the sim that has the custom traits leads to infinite loads.

The problem does go away when removing WW, but the traits are broken too.

That's why I think that all pre Lovestruck saves should just be treated as corrupted. You can still play them, but I suspect it's not going to ever be 100% stable again.

That seems to be the case. Managed to get into CAS with a workaround but when I was done there several parts of the UI just stopped working so couldnt save anyways. Saves seem absolutely FUBAR. Thanks EA....

shouldnt xml version be 4.0 not 1.0? a lot of mods depend on xml id start by updating that.

Hmm, lots of new exceptions today after updating WW and WP.

Turbo, there is a problem with the orientation of the Servo. When they are first created, they have no orientation at all, and so they always refuse sex. This is fixable by asking them about their love preferences.

Idk thats what Better Exceptions spat out for me

 

UPDATE: Some families can be loaded into CAS regardless of whether they have modded traits or not, and some cant. The only clear thing is base game traits never cause issues. I have tried removing all non-updated trait mods from the mods folder but it didnt make a difference

you need xml version 4, google scumbumbo xml and you'll find it , select the V4 version, clear all your cache before downloading it and disable dx11 if you have it enabled. im pretty sure most cc traits use xml too
