Zaselim Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 hello everyone, My God i've been having issues one after another since i installed new skyrim. I have never had these with my previous (170gb 300+ moded) Skyrim. Â I just installed FNIS and ran the tool and the tools runs fine and generate the files fine but when i run the game my character is in still no pose (fixed like a model or statue) before FINS the animations were working fine even the HDT animations were working fine. Â I am using Mod Organizer and i saw this tutorial and follow every step but still the character standing still in no pose mod. I will really appreciate the help.
ButchDiavolo Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Just to be sure, you are running FNIS through MO? Does FNIS throw out any warnings or errors when you run it? Do you have the correct version of FNIS (FNIS 6.3; FNIS Creatures 6.1)
srayesmanll Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 "T"-pose usually means that FNIS did not successfully run. As Vachnic said, you need to run FNIS through MO. The STEP link in my sig was very helpful when I first set up MO. Also, paste the FNIS output in a post here and maybe we can see something you missed. Copy the ENTIRE generator output (right-click in the top area where the FNIS results are, select all, copy, then paste into the post here into a spoiler: [ spoiler ]FNIS output here[ /spoiler ]    - remove the spaces to make it work).Â
RebelInfernal Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Yeah, what these guys said. Also, if you've updated FNIS be sure you're using the updated version's GenerateFNISForUsers.exe rather than the previous version already set up. It's easy to forget to select the new .exe in the executables panel, I ended up reinstalling FNIS before I realised I'd not done that.
Zaselim Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 Just to be sure, you are running FNIS through MO? Does FNIS throw out any warnings or errors when you run it? Do you have the correct version of FNIS (FNIS 6.3; FNIS Creatures 6.1) Yes version 6.3 and yes when i run in from MO it gave me an error "Elevation Required" The program requires elevation to run. This is a potential security risk so I hight advice you to investigate if (fnis exe path in may skyrim) can be installed to work with elevation. Start elevated anyway? (You will be asked if you want to allow ModOrganizer.exe to make changes to the system)  I clicked yes. and ran update fnis behavior with skeleton arm fix checked  It read Fnis Behavior 6.3 Fnis Creature pack 6.1 Fnis Spells 5.1  154 animations for 4 mods successfully installed  1 warning(s). (not running the game through steam, I never did)   >>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. If you use SKSE, this can be fixed by starting Skyrim once through Steam.<< FNIS Behavior V6.3 XXL  8/4/2016 10:44:14 PM Skyrim: 1.9.32.0 - Generator: H:\Installed Games\Skyrim - Legendary Edition\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe  Skeleton(hkx) female: XPMS2HDT (115 bones)  male: Unknown (232 bones) Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix"  Reading FNISBase V6.3 ... Reading FNISCreatureVersion V6.1 ... Reading FNISSpells V5.0.1  ( 0 furniture, 0 offset, 9 paired, 0 kill, 0 chair, 0 alternate animations) ... Reading SAMPoses V?.? ...  All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files.... 0_master usage: 3.9 %  ( 9 paired, 0 kill, 0 alternate animations) Alternate Animation mods: 0 sets: 0 total groups: 0 added file slots: 0 alternate files: 0  Create Creature Behaviors ...   154 animations for 4 mods successfully included (character)  1 Warning(s).    Then i exited the fnis  Now after the process the tutorial has one more step  "(Part One) After closing FNIS, there will be files in Overwrite (essentially a fake mod located at the bottom of the left pane if sorted by priority ascending) created by FNIS. (2nd part )Right-click Overwrite and select Create Mod, name it FNIS Output and click OK. This will create a new mod listing in the left pane for the FNIS generated files. You will then need to check it to enable it. Each subsequent time you update FNIS behavior, you must open Overwrite and drag the new files back to this mod."  But there no files in the left side panel MO. So i started with part 2, right clicked on overwrite and then created a new mod and named it FNIS Outfut and then enabled it.  Ran the game through using MO selecting skse and then this issue i am having  I haven't installed any FNIS recommended animations mod except the fnis creature and spells, only 360 walk animations and female walk, running and idle animation which don't need fnis and were working fine before i installed fnis. As i said its my fresh skyrim install, my original skyrim is working fine and well with fnis. The reason I installed a fresh skyrim because my previous one became a mess with few scripting mods and i wasnt sure which one and i was having CTD every few secs when ever i went outdoors.Â
srayesmanll Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Again:Â Copy the ENTIRE generator output (right-click in the top area where the FNIS results are, select all, copy, then paste into the post here into a spoiler:Â [ spoiler ]FNIS output here[ /spoiler ]Â Â Â Â - remove the spaces to make it work).

ButchDiavolo Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Well FNIS throws out this warning: Â ">>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. If you use SKSE, this can be fixed by starting Skyrim once through Steam.<<" Â So this begs the question: did you start Skyrim once through the official launcher, which means NOT through SKSE? If you did, then you don't have a legal copy of the game and no-one here will offer any help. Â If you do own a legal copy of the game, do as the warning suggest: run Skyrim with the official launcher once, so it will give you the needed ini-files. Then run FNIS again

At the moment FNIS sees your install folder as H:\Installed Games\Skyrim - Legendary Edition\. If after running Skyrim through the skyrim launcher doesn't solve the problem, you may have to move the original skyrim files to something like H:\Installed Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim for it to work properly. Â
gregathit Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Bottom line, we do NOT provide support for pirated versions of the game. Â Doesn't matter that you may or may not "own" it. Â You need to run a legal copy through steam if you want to get help on these boards. Â I'm going to assume that you do own it and that you will comply. Â If you don't intend to do this, then you are on your own and further posting will result in warnings or a ban. Â Forum rules: Â http://www.loverslab.com/topic/292-rules/?p=6248

I mean will the game downloading will stop? Or do i let steam download the game and then copy the moded skyrim folder and paste it into the newly downloaded skyrim?
Comrade Isbariya Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 The more I read about MO and it's 'problems' or better the problems it MAY cause if not handled correctly or whatever, the more I'm glad that I never touched it nor NMM at all.   I don't know about the whole MO stuff, where it stores your mods, if it's in the Skyrim folder or not, if it needs a seperate installation or not, but with the usual Skyrim-folder, it is possible to spare you a lot of download time if you copy it into the directory where Steam wants to download the game. You'll still have to click 'install' in Steam, as Steam will download additional files. (I think it's about system integration and / or registry entries or whatever else) It doesn't take more than 15 minutes through, if even. A complete install would take much longer. After that you have to copy your folder over it again, to make sure that Steam only got the necessary files and didn't overwrite anything important from your mods for whatever reason. So just copy the folder in your first attempt, and only move it in your second.  I haven't updated FNIS yet. Nothing I use depends on it, and well you know, never touch a running system~  Anyway, good luck with your install.Â

RUD3DUD3 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 first of all take note of the drive where the steam is installing files. if its same where steam is installed then right folder should be steam/steamapps/common/skyrim. if the drive is different then right folder should be steamlibrary/steamapps/common/skyrim. find yours and copy paste files in correct folder and steam would check the missing files if any. close steam first though.

Steam installed directory is C:\PrograFiles 86\Steam\  When i click on the local files in steam it open the folder where i copied my skyrim files and folders
RUD3DUD3 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 then the correct folder for you is G:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/skyrim. downloading folder is a common place shared by all steam games downloads where steam first downloads the file then installs them in their respective folder Common/gamename folder. before you do this first close steam and then copy paste and then restart steam it will begin searching the folder for the game files already there.

I just do that and let you know

I just do that and let you know  ok so i closed the steam moved the files and then ran the steam but it started download the game again. one more thing i noticed, i deleted the only file (dragonborn.bsa) from the download folder before running the steam again. it was 260mb when i stopped the download and when i ran the steam its started download from the exact same size and the files also appeared in the download folder with the same size. how is that possible?
RUD3DUD3 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 did you copied in correct folder ?? naming is important here im seeing your post above that you missed s in steamapp's'.
Zaselim Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 did you copied in correct folder ?? naming is important here im seeing your post above that you missed s in steamapp's'. Yes i copied in the correct folders, i didn't male any folder on my own. yes it is steamapps i am letting the steam download it, Because now my head starting to hurt lol. I will have to do a week's work again by installing the mods and setting up the game though.Â
RUD3DUD3 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 try moving files inside downloading folder to any other folder outside downloading folder you may delete it if you want and then check if steam begins downloading again
Zaselim Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 try moving files inside downloading folder to any other folder outside downloading folder you may delete it if you want and then check if steam begins downloading again I cant delete the file in download folder if steam is downloading, and as i told earlier i closed the steam and deleted the only file dragonborn.bsa which was 260mb at the time and then i ran the steam again then hit the play button but the downloading started instead of the game from the exact same file size downloaded earlier (260mb) and started moving up from there. Now its at 607mb. The estimate time is around 7 hours, downloading at 440kbps
RUD3DUD3 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 just try this first of all move your files away from common/skyrim folder and then right click on game then delete local content. close steam copy paste your files again in common/skyrim folder and restart steam if game is greyed out in your library click on install then steam should begin checking existing game files. i think problem before was that steam was already downloading the files into different folder and was not checking actual game folder.
