I'm using Donkey's rev93 with a lot of plugins without any problem (except for an old version of Lover's Bed which craps out every now and then). Rev94 gave me some issues, but 93 and Donkey's recent version of LPKExtender play quite well with my other mods. :2cents

I've also started the translation of Lovers with PK REV 96, and should have something in a day or two, but it will need testing by others willing to do so, since my current setup is less than perfect and breaks if I go to PK REV 94.

Does anybody have a link to the untranslated rev 93? That seems the version to go to imo, it's before they removed a bunch of scripts from it breaking things, and has the revised adjustments addition.

I've already completed a translation of all of the readmes and exported via CS the tab delimited text files for conversion next for REV 96. Last will be the comments in scripts. This is going to be rough (always wanted make use of that line, lol) as in not grammar checked.

 

It may be good to use what you have from your '91 trans' for 93 and 94. I don't now if there are any major differences in 'text' from one to the other.

As Ark stated rev94 "might" work but it may be safer to just stick with 93 as it was a sure thing.

Personaly I don't see point of convincing him.

If he rage quit about Signature then it only show how childish he is.

Also most of he's work is Machine Translation full of bugs.

I retired from Translating Oblivion mods some time ago but in this circumstances I got back and nearly finished Lovers Slave Trade + Underground.

Can translate other plugins if needed and it would be just a matter of days since I still have saved projects with most of properly translated japanese/chinese/russian languages sentences.

Huh? If I'm right in what you are trying to say, you want us to mourn the leaving of Prophour? I'm not sure what it is that you are on about but the reality is Prophour had a hissy fit and decided to take it out on the entire community here by ripping down all the links to mods over a lousy sig file. Frankly that kind of action is not deserving of any repect or regard. Now if you are actually talking about rights to the materials, well as far as I can tell they belong to the Mod developer and not someone who happened to run it through a translator with or without permission. While I'm sure most would agree that we appreciate the efforts of Prophour while here, that kinda gets pushed aside when the community is faced with recreating that effort. So from my point of view I say lets just move on please.

And imo the whole "rights" thing is BS. Do what's best for the community as whole - that's both modders, testers and lurkers - and just use the work that's useful. So many technological advances have been lost in the real world because of this stupid concept, don't let the internet suffer the same fate.

 

Oh, and while what Prop did is mean, keep in mind they might have had other RL problems we don't know about, and don't let their recent mishaps overshadow all the work they have done for this site.

This is so out of line with reality I don't even know where to begin responding to it.

 

First, sigs can't contain overly pornographic images. Since that was too open to interpretation, now they can't contain any porn at all. It was removed because of that. If you post a porn signature as some sort of lolsy test of if that rule exists, it'll get deleted when a moderator sees it.

 

No mods are being censored. The only thing not allowed is mods about having sex with children.

 

Lastly, LoversLab is pretty much the opposite philosophically of the Nexus and we really don't care what they think.

 

Touche and bravo. I certainly never perceived any attempt at pandering to the folks over at the Nexus. And as far as the new rule regarding pornographic images, I figure thats what happens when someone decides to abuse a good thing, so we have Prophour to thank for that. Why is it so hard to maintain a realistic perspective? The reality is it is up to the site owner and his duely appointed minions to make sure there is still a LL for us to use and abuse when we wake up tommorrow, which is a tough enough job. All we have to do as members is observe and obey a very few rules and perhaps contribute in some meaningful way to the community WITHOUT adopting some misguided sense of entitlement. Seems simple enough to me, but then I'm new here.
