Kernel39 Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 With the success of The Elder Scrolls online, do you think Bethesda will make an MMORPG version of Fallout? Somebody needs to pitch this idea to Bethesda.
Guest Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 huh, elder scrolls online was a succes? i played it for two weeks and than never looked back...
Teddar Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 i didnt last two hours, its garbage. If they do make FO online, i hope the do a better job
Guest MonsterFish Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 It's possible because if Bethesda doesn't allow Obsidian to make an MMO their IP for Fallout will run out. The sad truth of that is likely that Bethesda won't make another Fallout game so they get to keep it. Loopholes and all. But if they do at least we get the better company doing it.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 If Fallout 4 hasn't destroyed the series, a Fallout Online will finish the job.
Kaz Aanh Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I'd rather have a standalone multiplayer game based on the Fallout4 with plugin/modding system support. So you could play with your friends with any map that people make, be it puzzle, rp , survival or quests.
SoundSpark Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 With the success of The Elder Scrolls online, do you think Bethesda will make an MMORPG version of Fallout? Somebody needs to pitch this idea to Bethesda. No, after the failure of Elder Scrolls Online they don't need to screw up fallout 4 anymore then they already have. What they need to be pitched is a basic understanding of how to run a modding site, cause Bethesda still has no idea on how to do that. I'd rather have a standalone multiplayer game based on the Fallout4 with plugin/modding system support. So you could play with your friends with any map that people make, be it puzzle, rp , survival or quests. So long as Bethesda has nothing to do with it, it could be good but, I don't see that happening.
Brvtality Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 God I hope not. I played ESO for all of ten minutes before I got disgusted with it and demanded a refund on Steam. I don't see how they could improve on the formula with Fallout.
Outlast1 Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 I really hope they never make a fallout mmo, I played ESO for 6 hours before I got pissed I thought it was going to be good but nope I asked Valve for a refund and decided I rather stick with TERA which is a really great game imo of course. But if anything I hope they really take a step back and learn something from fo4 and make es6 better cause I was really hurt by fo4 far harbor and now im so leary of beth games that I am skiddish about buying anymore products.
taftvalue Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Don't make it into an mmo. The mmo market is oversaturated and all mmos except WoW suck anyway. What I'd like is a co-op online mode for Fallout 4, a way to sort of play this with other people.

Or, even better, a LAN feature to do just that, clever people can always use such a feature to connect over the internet then. But an MMO? No, MMO's are overrated. Been there, done that, got tired of it, and I have zero interest in having other players decide over MY playing schedule and when I have to be online to do whatever content there may be, nor do I have any interest in being locked out from content because other players are required to clear it but they just don't happen to be around. Heck, I have no interest in the whole circlejerking raid nonsense AT ALL!
Jazzman Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 MMO, that's big town for me - swarms of nervous people running around like confused ants, apparently looking for something but w/o ever being communicative enough to fill a fuckin' sticker with words. Around level 100 I've left ESO, I simply gave up from one day to another.
SaltLife Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 At this point I hope they don't release any more online shit at all, let the modders do that because everything they release as vanilla is garbage. dontgettriggeredthisisjustmyopinion

ralfetas Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I never see the point in MMO, in special with elder scrolls game, in any elder scrolls you the badass, you are the one, like neo was for matrix you are for tamriel, them with ESO you are someone with a lot of others someones, i just don't see the point...
Ark of Truth Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Fallout Online already exists in the form of Fallout Reloaded http://www.fonline-reloaded.net/

SensualLust Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 This guy lol. WoW sucks how? Because it is the most successful and best MMORPG there is? What is with people's mentality that makes them want to hate on something simply because it is popular.

Yes, I did just compare WoW with Jersey Shore. I lump them both into the same category.
bjornk Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Fallout Online already exists in the form of Fallout Reloaded http://www.fonline-reloaded.net/ Tried it once and it was awful. Not the game though, it was the people who played. I supposed that's the issue with every single multiplayer game.
