Ark of Truth Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Fallout Online already exists in the form of Fallout Reloaded http://www.fonline-reloaded.net/ Tried it once and it was awful. Not the game though, it was the people who played. I supposed that's the issue with every single multiplayer game. Same, my first day in game and I was PVPed by someone holding a fatman.....it's a good game but some elements of the community kill it for people. Its nice as you can have your own hideout and vertibird to go around in.

Kit Kitten Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 If they were smart they wouldn't do an MMORPG for Fallout. It doesn't fit the style of game Bethesda seems to see Fallout as. However, I did have what I think was a pretty cool idea which I'll detail below: Fallout: War Never Changes A Battlefield / Battlefront style, large team shooter that takes place during the Sino-American war and times leading up to the Great War of 2077. Teams comprise of America vs China with their respective technologies and weapons. Some of which may be kill streak rewards or some other limited on field vehicle or power-up such as Stealth Suits, Power Armor, Fatman, and pretty much anything that would be horribly imbalanced as a default loadout. Maps can include the Chinese invasion of Anchorage, the American liberation of Anchorage, various conflict sites in China and Pacific islands. Because this takes place before the bombs fall it offers an opportunity to further flesh out and detail the world of Fallout, Pre-War, especially on the Chinese side of things of which we have limited and unreliable information (Operation Anchorage Simulation was basically revisionist history by General Chase). Anyways, I thought it was a cool idea.
Madssej Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 This guy lol. WoW sucks how? Because it is the most successful and best MMORPG there is? What is with people's mentality that makes them want to hate on something simply because it is popular. Jersey Shore is a perfect example of a show that sucks being popular. Yes, I did just compare WoW with Jersey Shore. I lump them both into the same category. But Jersey Shore didnt change its genre forever? WoW had that effect. Nothing wrong with saying that you dont like a game but if you cant even let someone else enjoy a game without giving them shit, you have some sort of problem

Nothing wrong with saying that you dont like a game but if you cant even let someone else enjoy a game without giving them shit, you have some sort of problem WoW didn't change squat. It's a clone of another game that came out a year before it was even developed. The name escapes me, but it didn't take off quite as well due to the timing. WoW is equally as guilty as the CoD franchise is of creating the ripple effect. That is, to say, it's contributing to the decline of quality gaming through its popularity, causing developers to mass produce shitty games based on the same low standards set by the franchises. It's not just consoles lowering the bar. Thankfully, independent developers are fighting back and releasing quality games, so maybe we'll see big studios kick it up a notch, or not, if people continue buying the low quality console properties.

Yeah, but if I'm going to spend hours looking at an ass in third person, it might as well be a nice one.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Or apart from being hit on by horny dudes playing male or female characters, you'll get the type who discriminate you for being a male playing a female character. But I've seen my share of dudes playing female characters pretending to be girl gamers suckering dudes for gear and game currency. Not on WOW though.

My female character is probably the sexiest the commonwealth has ever seen. Men would be chasing after her!

For many years I stick to bug spray to get rid of obtrusive men, consequently I've successfully deployed Moira's repellent stick back then in virtual D.C. EllieSuraCremisi Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 no offense kernel, but your avatar pic creeps me the fuck out, and on topic, i would say a huge NO to this idea, we don't need the series butchered more then it already has been
darkconsole Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 my only experience with ESO was at last quakecon before it came out. i sat down with a bunch of people i dont know, got forced into their party because thats how the demo works. i selected to be the tank. so i tanked shit. letting the other people pick up the shit we needed to construct this key. then we went to the cave that we needed the key for. it let everyone in except me, because i didn't pick up the shit because i was busy tanking. worst party system ever. so then i just dicked around the island until our demo time was up. it wasn't a big loss to me, after i stopped and remembered that the only reason i even play skyrim is because its moddable. i would have quit within a month had it not been. i don't get sucked into things i cannot fix.
