Needing a bit of inspiration

Ok so here's the thing. I know the exact kind of Skyrim game I want to make, which is basically a very tough Skyrim with lots and lots of bondage, devious devices and the like. My character is NOT lucky.

But I'm kinda missing inspiration in the character department. I've been playing the same kind of dumb warrior for years and years, and I feel like my new character will need more than "just because" or "gold" as a reason to adventure in Skyrim.

Can anybody suggest either a character type, or even a story?

How about to get away from the evil Necromancers who had you cooped up birthing soul gems? You're not trying to be an adventurer, you're just trying to get somewhere safe.

Or you are addicted to Skooma, and adventuring seems to pay a lot more than farming or whoring yourself out. With all the money you'll be making from the treasure you find in those old tombs, you can keep yourself in skooma for life!

Or maybe your job as an excavation digger just dried up and now you've got no other way to make a buck, and you've got to save up enough money to be able to put your unborn child through college.

Maybe you're infected with Spriggan tendrils and you have an uncontrollable compulsion to spread your seed as far and as wide as you can!

Or maybe your attempt at casting your first magical spell didn't go so well, and you ended up here in Skyrim, with no idea of how to get home. The borders are closed due to the war, so you might as well put your hard-earned combat magic skills to good use in an adventuring profession.

Well I was planning to use that game to test out your mod, I find it's absolutely fantastic.

Now for an actual reason to keep adventuring, that's a bit tougher (except for the skooma part... which would go well with Skooma Whore)

I'm trying to make this one a long term game so I really need to plan things out, and I thought I may as well get some outside help :D

Thanks

As far as character types.

You can now actually play a plugged mage.

So there is a neato perk system for a mage called Path of Sorcery.

Nice Mod, doesn't throw a lot of spells at you it just makes vanilla magic better...Careful not to max out that destruction tree by level 30 though that might be too soon.

Armbinders now allow you to actually kick while wearing them....

You might not have played a vanilla pugilist but it certainly can be done with a vanilla Heavy Armor Perk Tree, you get a perk that bases your damage off of the heavy armor gloves you wear.  Can get an enchantment from Riften for the gloves to enhance damage...You can get a quest in Falkreath that will lead up to you having to fight Vampires...Vanilla Vampirism I think is better for game stability and it isn't bad since they get some nice buffs that are balanced with the vanilla game....Vampires have great unarmed damage.

Also you get to see a whole lot of kill moves you might not ever have seen.

Bonus that you count as unarmed or not haha.

OBIS alongside Immersive Creatures is nice in a load order that doesn't go over the top, been running it fairly well and almost crash free for 20 levels of play.

These two mods will make your lands more dangerous.....

Ramp the difficulty up to Very Hard or Legendary and don't use much else that helps you out....Might spend time being a slave here and there.

Crash Fixes <---Name of a mod.....I've noticed this seems to actually work :D

I tend to do dominant females, but I did have a concept for my Nord 2h build that you're welcome to steal if you like.

You were on your way to good things in Whiterun. You were brave, had an aptitude for combat, and while not rich, your family did have enough to start pulling strings for a good position in the guard or even in the Legion. Better still, you knew a wonderfully kinky and beautiful Imperial girl in town that you shared many nights of secretive trists. This girl would be your downfall, however. Out of nowhere, after a night of passion, you were drugged, stripped, your hair cut, and sold to a nearby bandit gang for cheap. It seemed she was much more about getting rid of you than actually making a profit. The gang weren't interested in keeping you, mercifully, and quickly resold you to an unknown foreign power. You would never know who, though, as the ship carrying you suffered an accident of an unknown origin. Now here you are, in the unforgivable cold of the Sea of Ghosts, still bound, made into a different person, and far from shore. Can you survive, let alone reclaim your life?

Reasons to go adventuring?

Books!

Steps:-

1) Get all the book mods you can get from here and the Nexus

2) Get a suitable house mod with enough proper bookshelves - i.e. not one of those chest replacement no display type bookshelves. Preferably the house has to be bought or you need to go through some task to get it - i.e no point in making it easy).

3) Limited carry weight for your PC, (obviously you have this already).

4) Use CCAS just to cripple your character from the start

5) Go adventuring with all the fervour of a newly degree qualified librarian who has just realized that being a librarian is just a bit crap nowadays.

Edit:- For book mods - some you will probably have to add them to leveled lists yourself. You can use TES5Edit for that - easy but slightly tedious. Most are level listed anyway, or have quests. Annoying, but finding a stash of porn or other literature in a big placed box is somewhat boring.

I just started a character for my first playthrough of a Devious Skyrim. She was traveling with her mother through the southern woods of Falkreath Hold on their way west to High Rock. They had just left Helgen when the dragon attacked. On its way out, it spew flame in the direction of their cart. Her mother is dead, the cart is destroyed and the horses were scared off. Her clothes were burnt to rags, leaving her very exposed. She wandered the winderness for a while, hungry and cold from the rain. She fled from witches and bandits. At dusk she came upon Cracked Tusk Keep. Unfortunately, she couldn't get away in time...

She's been there about 3 weeks now that was a lot of masturbating, and suddenly I find that she's fallen in love with her Orc master, Ghunzul. I didn't even mean for her to do that, I think she just likes the rough treatment. Looks like she's going to explore Skyrim with him, and I'm sure he'll come up with some devious plans for her along the way.

One of my typical character types is where I start with a home (usually the one out by Rorikstead) and being new to Skyrim I decide I want to see all the major hold capitals (Solitude, Markarth, Whiterun etc...). I make / gather whatever armor and weapons I can at that point and start walking. Toss in the mod for the Notice Board where you can get jobs and such that way and you will have plenty to do and plenty of opportunities to get into trouble. I think it is always best that if you are going to get into trouble you play a character that does not want it, it gives a bit more urgency to get rid of what has been put on them.

Alright thanks a lot, guys. I managed to come up with an awesome backstory and a good reason to RP the character for a LONG while. I managed to integrate most of your suggestions, in some way or another.

Well-made bondage gear is expensive, Captured Dreams keep bringing out new colours and finishes and so rather than working extra-hard on the farm you've decided to rob bandits to fund your habit.
