Idea : quo vagis fro Skyrim (brothel construction)

I'm thinking again about a brothel mod for skyrim.

 

We have player as slave or prostitute, but not player as brothel keeper/assistant/first whore.

 

The mod :

- should be comptabile with Radiant prostitution or Maria prostitution

- quest mod for extend the brothel, recruit prostitutes, etc...

- use of pictures (like, hire a painter to paint a whore who took the pose, and place this paint in a city as advertising).

- moral choices

 

Do you think it's possible ?

Possible, yes.  Truly time consuming, yes.

 

I don't use Maria Prostitution due to the last time I used it its ai package messed with some of the npc's for main story in Skyrim.  Needless to say I could not advance along the quest line until I uninstalled MP.

 

May want to take a look at Sexlab Guild as well.  Older mod that was never completed, decent quest line for it, wasn't just a plug in and whore yourself mod.   RP would require you to study its scripts and see if you could tie into them for your brothel idea.  Ideally I would say make the mod to where it can detect RP or MP.   MP adds in locations and a lot of changes to npc's ai, where as RP builds upon the basic ai of vanilla npc's.  Perhaps due to that I think RP may be easier to work with.

Well if you want to do this I would actually recommend Maria Eden Prostitution version is designed in such a way that a person can easily add in extra content that is not dependent upon it but also will take advantage of its framework. This version no longer makes any changes to the vanilla game by default- rather it adds features and you can choose to download extra modules for brothels and slavery auction points- or simply design your own in game(which will persist between playthroughs)

 

ME:P has very detailed and straight forward documentation for modders so it would actually be fairly simple, all you would really need to do is use ZAZ furniture, factions and you'll probably want to uses the configure spells to give people the roles they need, mark places for dancing, punishments and the like and make sure you upload the configure files with the rest of the mod.

 

And as ME:P is set up for use as a framework, so if your wondering which to uses as a framework I'd recommend it over radiant prostitution.  Now if you want both to work you probably want your mod to have nothing to do with either one, make the building a tavern with the owner an innkeeper, use ZAZ factions and have it count sex acts with its own script or have it track money you hand in in exchange you using the facilities.

 

that way the mod would with very little configuration on the users end(which can be done in game with ease) for ME:P, right out of the box for RP. You could even do the configuration for perfect ME:P compatibility yourself if you don't think they could handle it- though I doubt it would be needed as long as you use ZAZ factions and furniture rather than making your own.  Though honestly as long as you use ZAZ furniture and factions you don't need to worry about it.

Beside the other ideas (Sexlab Guild would be very interesting imho), CPU planned to rework his Cumshot brothel once he's done with SSX. The old version was great in several points, but broken (for me) in some others, i'm not sure if your ideas and his are compatible... but if so, that would be great.

I never managed to get ME:P working properly, mabye i'm just too stupid, but several bugs i've encountered aren't solved and as far as i know, not even on to-do list, so i'd prefer something else.

 

About your ideas: i guess the really hard thing is the part for pictures. I don't know if it's possible to create pictures dynamic, and if not i don't think it's possible to have paintings for every hair/pose/... mods combination out there. But it indeed is an interesting idea, so... maybe some pictures of certain NPCs you can recruit as prostitutes during quests would be an alternative?

You know, an adult themed version of Tundra Defense would be pretty amazing, I think. Build your own district or outpost... of sin. Shady pubs, brothels, skooma dens, thief guild...

Right. In fact, you can sorta do this already. Get Tundra Defense, play it as usual. Then get TDF Prostitution and the Independent Prostitutes plugin. This lets you build an outpost that you can defend and eventually get an inn for, and you can use the IP plugin for TDF to hire prostitutes that you can tell to sandbox and work at your very own outpost.

Don't forget Niruin at the Thieves Guild - he wants to start a brothel too!

 

So what if you BOTH start brothels and have to compete?  Maybe his place starts out nice and your's starts out crappy, but you build it up?  Maybe you steal hookers from each other, sabotage each other, maybe have different contests or promotions or specialties?  Maybe Niruin squeezes you for protection money?  In the end, one of you goes out of business - and maybe there's a merger?  Maybe its a friendly business merger and you become partners, or maybe not so friendly.

You could do it from the standpoint of where it is located or a franchise  brothel in each area. You would originally have to deal with  getting permission to build usually involving greasing the local political structure and Constable with  money and sex. Providing whores  or whoring through the various levels of the political structure such as lavish parties (gangbangs for officials. Of course the local inkeeper might try burning you down during construction. You will have to give him her access to your superior form of delicacies in order to make a deal. Keeping the construction crews motivated. Once everything is constructed finding various talent for each novelty of the business of brothel ownership and the demands of your clientele. Keeping suppliers, politicians and constabulary whims satisfied often on your back.  Training whores and slaves on how to provide the services needed often by example. Dealing with the problems of whores, slaves and employees. Maintaining finances and having to deal with problems at various brothels often through sex. The possibilities are vast. Good Luck. Oh I would make it friendly to the other mods not a requirement.
