And I'm sorry for the rant. It wasn't really directed towards you, it was more a defence of the hard work Caliente has put into CBBE. Modding takes so much time, so even when the result has flaws, it's nicer to be positive about it. Still, some criticism can be very useful for a modder. When justified, of course.

Aside from that one, I think I would like any curvy body, especially on the back side ^^

And to be honest' date=' i really don't know if all the people who say they don't like the shape of cbbe and so on really have tried Bodyslide, and be aware that cbbe can actually exactly look the way they want it to be, while all other bodys only have 1 or 2 predeterminated shapes.

 

Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly fine if you prefer unp or whatnot, but if you really should be aware that you can basically make cbbe look exactly the way you want it to be. For example you like the belly and the ass of unp, but the breasts of another body mod the best? Well, with bodyslide combined with the optional slider options by stuffed_bunny (or something like that) you can create a body that comes really close to that...There are basically really no limits.

 

For example the body i'am using at the moment looks like this. Theres really not much of the standard cbbe left.

Used cbbe when it came out but switched to UNP and never looked back . IMO UNPB and UNP votes should be combinUNPB is just UNP with a larger selection at max weight and yes I am using UNPB and loving it. The Alan's clothing pack did temp me a bit, but not big enough of a reason to switch over. I really do wish tho that UNP had similar UV map as cbbe , I really like some of the armor made for cbbe :/

When I first got Skyrim for PC, the first mod I downloaded was CBBE and have been using it ever since. Then I added BBP, and that was nice. However, I think it's about time for a change. ADEC looks pretty good and appears to have enough armors converted to work well. Frankly, all of the 3 major bases (CBBE, UNP, ADEC) look good and as long as they have BBP I'm happy (strangely enough, I did not select that option in the vote).

I use CBBE with the Lighter vein skin texture, you have to do a lot to set it up but it's well worth it. you can't really see it in the screenshots but the body looks amazing and pretty realistic.

i really only ever go for unp, or unpb the body shapes are nice, especially the muscular toned females but I stay clear of BBP because the physics effects totally fuck up animations. if they were to fix all the broken animations such as blocking i might be tempted.

i think the problem lies in the skeleton and as people are actively using it, its been ignored to the point where it cant be easily fixed without affecting alot of mods.

 

the animation loss is really game breaking. i would use BBP for third person 'obviously because whats the point in stuff moving if you dont see it' but in third person you notice the broken animations. its also apparent on enemies, watching enemies block you without raising their weapon/shield is a massive disconnection from the fighting experience. so really the BBP is only good for walking from town to town slowly so you can watch the animation of walking. other than that i would stay clear of it.

Agreed, that's one of the factors that made me switch to CBBEv3. CBBE just comes with a fully matching body/head texture set. With CHSBHC my chars didn't get naked very often but when they did it was kinda weird...

 

Visuals mean a lot...especially in this game. It's effortlessly beautiful compared to Oblivion (which required soooo much work and mods)
