Hi everyone, just want to start by saying how excited I am to have joined this community. I am a novice to game modding at best and I am looking forward to learning from all of the amazing modders on this site.

 

Now I have a question to kick it all off...

 

I am trying to collect a solid set of mods that I can use to create a completely unique player for my game experience. I have already used the PC Exclusive Animation Path and have learned from that mod and this site how to make my PC have their own custom body that no other NPC in the game shares. Thanks to the Tutorial released by Expired My character has their very own race that is based off the Nords but looking like a Breton without causing any conflicts. So far everything is looking good!

 

I have even created my own little mod that allows my character to take armor found and re-craft, so a vanilla set of hide can be re-made into a CBBE style at the workbench.

 

So what I am looking to ask is this, what body mod is the most complete? With the most remodelled armours and support? Right now I am using a body created via Caliente's BodySlide and the UNPB BBP plug in. But that means that I don't have any armors to fit my toon. As a result her body shape changes every time I put on a new suit.

 

Of course personal preference to body shape plays a part. I prefer muscled with big boobs, as the image below of my current toon would suggest.

 

 

So what body & armor/clothing replacer mods would you folks suggest to make this character complete?

You should start a poll in this thread to see what body mods are the most used by the members here. That would give you a good idea what body mod is the most supported. Like you, I modified my own NPC to what I like, but it must be very close to what the modders like as well, because there is very little, if any, change in her physic. So, to get a better idea of what is the most supported, poll the members here. I'ld be interested to know, thought I doubt I would change anything at this point.

I prefer UNP, but MAK's armors are irresistable, so it's CBBE for the forseeable future.

the problem with threads like this is that there's alwasy something missing.

 

not trying to sound like some kinda fanboi, but I think ADEC Mesh has the bestest mix of realistic and fantasy shape of the body meshes that are out right now. the shape is about 110% realistic . . . iow, it's just a little exaggerated. just enough to make females in the game a little 'whoa'.

 

then there's the established 'popularity' of all the mods by just looking at the view and download totals on nexus. unique DLs is kind of a misnomer... if they never updated, then it would matter. but with every update comes non-unique DLs.

Crap! I knew I would miss one! I really like the ADEC too, it was the first one I tried out actually, and being an HGEC kind of oblivion player it made me pretty happy at first. I guess I just came across so much support for the others I kinda let that one fall to the side. I am gonna have to go back and look it up again and maybe fall in love with it all over again.

You know, something i neglected to mention...

 

ADEC Mesh artist AcDale has converted a metric shit-ton of armors in the armor and clothing collection. all of the most common armors have been converted as well as several of the more popular customs. Dare i say it's the most completed?

I think UNP has the largest collection of converted Vanilla Armors and Clothing(Stock Clothing and Armor converted to fit the modded shape, not Bikinified). UNP also has bouncing without using a modding tool.

CBBE is second, and modifying the body to have bounce requires using the Bodyslide.

ADEC is a good replacer, but it did not catch on as quickly as CBBE. ADEC has bounce out of the box, like UNP.

I use CBBE, but it is because I have a favorite body texture, and I happy with the body my character has.

If you learn how to use Bodyslide, You can really customise your characters body to fit your specific tastes.

My body mod is by numenume. It's a combo of CHSBHC, Caliente's and numenume, using an enhanced skeleton. So far, every armor I've tried fits without a problem, with the exception of coming out of JoshNZ's Animated Prostitution. Sometimes the boobs stick out of her clothes after, but it's good for a laugh. Glad to see you got the poll started. I'm not surprised at the results so far.

I use many different body mods

However, I tend to end up using CBBE the most if for no other reason than BodySlide. You can customize the bodies so much it is amazing, and really helps to individualize them.

CBBE v3 Super Silly Huge. Teals released a great armor conversion for that body variation. Nevertheless, rare new armors are released for that body but vanilla armors are quiet well covered. They have BBP also.

 

Unfortunately, teals has stopped making the conversion, so there are a few armors unconverted yet.

While I still fancy UNP, ADEC and even Rebirth there's no choice in which is the best... CBBE is been the no1 download for ages on the nexus. Besides that, the mesh is really properly made. The UV mapping, vertice distribution and overall support and 'modability' is way better than all the others

I vote UNP. I use the UNP body with boob bounce and a modified "7.5 model skeleton". Who said bounce is not worth it on smaller tits? Mmmm... they move..

UNP Blessed BBP is the best so far!!

I was CBBE user before because of it curve and breast, however I'm a bit disappointed with the butt/ass shape with the meshes. UNP has a better shape especially when I use VHH walk. CBBE's butt looks strange while UNP ass look awesome. Well, before UNPB come out I still prefer CBBE because its BBP support and big breast. Now UNPB support BBP come out. Dreams come true!

IMO... UNP is the best body for support and many modders have created there own skins butt, I will admit, I was a big supporter of CBBE slim when UNP first came along and nowadays im UNP all the way... also would like to point out that most peeps in the lab are big tittie lovers so CBBE is going to win any poll....REGARDLESS. BBP is kewl, I do like it but it just doesnt have enough support though I believe CBBE modders are out doing UNP in that fight, but its all a matter of choice and preference... Im a ass man and dont like big tits (though I like nice looking titts), so I use UNP (and UNP rules in that area to...IMO)... you will like CBBE, hence your opening statement.

I just find the UNP body to be a superior sculptural form to any of the others. It has a level of elegance that I can't find elsewhere. And my god the texture is so nice I just want to lick it. As far as UNPB being in this poll...whilst I appreciate it I simply made UNPB to give those who love UNP but prefer larger breasts a place to be, so a vote for UNPB is a vote for UNP IMO.

I'm unlike any other UNP lovers in here. Started out with CBBE, actually changed to UNP for a while to try it out and wasn't too impressed with it. They both definitely look really nice but I LOVE CBBE. There are a TON of mods out there that are compatible with CBBE so finding armor mods that are compatible with it isn't hard at all.

 

Another reason why I enjoy using CBBE is because all the girl's boobs are perfectly round instead of pointy where the tits are like UNP's. This is just a preference as everyone has one so please don't take this offensively. Don't get me wrong, there are no wrong or imperfect shaped breasts either. It's just preference as I said before.

And to be honest, i really don't know if all the people who say they don't like the shape of cbbe and so on really have tried Bodyslide, and be aware that cbbe can actually exactly look the way they want it to be, while all other bodys only have 1 or 2 predeterminated shapes.

 

Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly fine if you prefer unp or whatnot, but if you really should be aware that you can basically make cbbe look exactly the way you want it to be. For example you like the belly and the ass of unp, but the breasts of another body mod the best? Well, with bodyslide combined with the optional slider options by stuffed_bunny (or something like that) you can create a body that comes really close to that...There are basically really no limits.

 

For example the body i'am using at the moment looks like this. Theres really not much of the standard cbbe left.

Sorry for spamming the threat, but the preferred body mod question is asked so frequently, and everytime i read the answers i get the feeling that a lot of people really don't know what is already possible.

For me, it's not about whether I can make a thick thighed version or a small butt version or a big or small tit version, it's the subtle elements that you just can't fake with bodyslide that make unp my choice. The way the hips graduate as they widen. The realistic shape of the butt, not perfectly round but rounded toward the middle and sloping as the hips pull away, because that's what a woman with UNP width hips' ass looks like. The sculpting of the stomach area, the subtle sense of gravity to everything.

 

To me, every one of those settings you showed look like someone just messed around with CBBE. Which is fine, but it still looks like CBBE to me, and still lacks anything visually compelling. CBBE looks like a woman wearing a spandex outfit, in that it appears to fight against any sense of gravity or subtle realism.

 

It's a good early effort, but it's not masterwork like UNP is.
