OP can you change the font??

It's too small and difficult to read

If I might make a suggestion:  How about stop forking Nazeen's list (https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/dangerous_mods_masterlist) and instead contributing loverslab mods to that list?

He's already said he's open to it, he just is not familiar with our stuff.

I second this. For regular mods, referring to the reddit thread is sufficient. What we're missing is such a list for LL mods.

i think there`s already a thread for that http://www.loverslab.com/topic/59328-the-list-of-problematicunstable-adult-mods/

sorry i have no ability to check script if its stable or not im just a mod user

Hi.

Would you mind to use a smaller font and put spoilers in your first post?

This will increase the readability of it, and I think it is a really useful post.

what do you think about my new post?

what do you think about my new post?

Way better.

2 small points:

1) Edit in BBCode and everywhere you have a LIST with * try to remove the not-useful lines.

Bad example

[LIST]
[*]This may have problems
[/*]
[*]
[/*]
[/LIST]

  •

  • This may have problems
  •

Good example

[LIST]
[*]This has no problems[/*]
[/LIST]

  • This has no problems

2) The history should go in the opposite way, on the top the latest changes, and to the bottom the oldest changes.

if i'm not worng, bathing beauty luxury suite (or something like that) used to cause all kinds of problems for many people, not sure how's it now

about the bathing beauty and beefcake lux suite may be some problem with compatibilities or some users with low end rig may suffer performance loss because on the NPC`s i remember installing this before i never get CTD inside the Suite so im not going to add this on the dangerous list unless someone may prove me wrong and tell me how this mods work and how it may cause CTD`s

As the mod's author, I can tell you that version 5.1 has five harmless dirty edits and one of its plugins has a lot of intentional ITM records, which are also harmless, but necessary in order for the mod's exterior cell to function correctly.  Mod arbiter-wannabes look at some of the plugins in TESVedit and assume some records are dirty edits.  They don't investigate the mod thoroughly enough to know that they are in fact not dirty edits, but the conversion of a marker reference from temporary to persistent in order for something like teleportation to work with existing vanilla markers instead of adding additional markers to vanilla cells such as Breezehome.  If I hadn't done it this way, BBLS would have compatibility issues with many vanilla home mods, but it doesn't.

Anyone who gets a CTD inside the Suite is getting it because of resource limitations.  The number of NPCs inside any single cell can reach a point where a CTD is possible, particularly after including HDT jiggles, HD textures, HD hairs and hair textures, HD clothing and textures, HD skin textures.... you get the idea.  And the entire purpose of the Suite is to watch a flesh parade, so some people will try to put an enormous number of NPCs inside the building using external mods that have "Followers Can Relax"-type features such as EFF and AFT.  Essentially, they turn the building into an NPC dumping ground and find a way to push the NPC count up around 50 NPCs in one cell.  If you are using the SKSE.ini memory adjustment, it might not cause a CTD, but you will see performance issues if your rig isn't wicked good.

A lot of what the Suite does gets turned off when you aren't inside the building, to save resources while you are out playing the game.  However, sleeping or waiting inside the cell can cause an overload of the animation queue when running HDT if you have too many NPCs in the building, which will lead to a CTD on some machines.

The Suite isn't the only place with this potential issue.  Any cell with an NPC count that exceeds good practice will cause a CTD under the right circumstances.

Much of the underlying BBLS engine has been recreated for the next version to improve performance and allow users better control over resource-hungry features, but as a result, there is no upgrade path between BBLS 5.1 and the next version.  BBLS 6 will require a new play-through.

Also, I've heard a couple people say that Immersive Patrols can wreck your game over the long term. But I've never seen any further information about that. Does anyone know this claim is made about IP? I've never had trouble with it, but I've never had it on a really long playthrough either.

I doubt it did, and besides making all NPCs mortal is a more sure way to destroy the game.

The more specific complaints seem to be that IP is very poorly coded, full of unnecessary code and errors. For example, here's a recent one by 27X:

Legacy of the fuck your save table will destroy your save, period.

This is not opinion, supposition or theory, it is fact. lotd contains more loose strings than every sex animation and sl mod combined.

Combined.

All of them.

If you install it and SL mods you have about 15-25 hours before your save starts becoming unstable, and there is no save cleaner that exists that can unfuck your save. One of the worst coded mods in Skyrim history outside of Immersive Patrols or the original Civil War Overhaul or The People of Skyrim. It will fuck you save even if it's the only thing you install.

Or this one in response to some poorly-coded Sexlab plugin:

oh hey the same coding practices as Immersive Patrols, Legacy of the Dragonborn and Populated Skyrim.

Mind you, it's more than just 27X's opinion. When I search LL, I find lots of people having issues with IP, or IP conflicting badly with mods, especially the updated version. These were just the two most recent ones.

So...what exactly is the issue with IP?

IP's problem is two fold, first is spawning and despawning npcs in a safe manner, and then the cleanup of npcs to Cell of the Dead without any actively running scripts still on them.

Just to clarify, I take this to mean that IP is NOT doing those things properly?

Anyway, good to know. Thanks. IP is hardly crucial to my playthroughs (I only tried it recently anyway and was kind of on the fence of whether I liked how truly random the battles were), so I'm sure I can find an alternate mod for adding a little environmental civil war flavour to things.
